Time Warp

Take a simple boring thing such as popping a water balloon, and slow it down about 10,000 times, and it becomes very entertaining!
 
Speed has this series called "On the Edge" and today they had a bunch of races (If you want to call it that). I'm not gonna lie, when you chain/weld a trailer to your car and wear normal clothes to a "race" it's definitely gonna be a Redneck race.

So, I have been behind on 24, as in never watched it.

So, I borrowed the first three seasons on DVD from a friend. I am at roughly 7:00PM-8:00PM in season 1.

I like Jack, I like Palmer, and I am really getting into all the actual hunting down the bad guys stuff.

That said, both wives are freaking killing me. I don't mind the daughter so much, although she is obviously an idiot. But the wives, I just want them to die. I mean, they are bordering on ruining this show for me.

Do I have to put up with them all the time?

And I am not afraid of spoilers. I am years behind so any spoilers will not be that big of a deal to me. So, if you can only answer my question with a spoiler then go ahead.

I can't remember there being any wives in plural. But if you mean his wife Teri and the woman he had an affair with Nina, then one of them won't be around for much longer, thanks to the other, and the other one might not be who she first seems to be. Get used to this theme, it crops up in 24 a lot. You never have to put up with the bad guys and gals for long, Jack doesn't suffer fools gladly ;)

The other wife is Palmer's wife. Her power hungry attitude has been pushed too far and it is annoying. If they could tone that down it would be fine.

And if I have to choose between Teri and Nina, I want Teri to die. She is a whiny, emotional, annoyance.

You'll have to wait a few more seasons, i'm afraid, before Palmer's wife get her comeuppance.

Everyone dies eventually. In 24 it's usually quicker and more gruesome ;)

I finished season 1, and I must say that the final episode satisfied me enough to make me watch the other two seasons my friend has.

Still, while it is a decent show, I don't get what makes people drool over this.
