More early '70s British horror 'round my house, with this 1973 seat-clutcher from Freddie "Tales From The Crypt" Francis and starring those two old scrotes from the Dracula '72 movie.

Can't beat a bit of Tigon!

Though I struggle watching Peter in anything around 1972-1974 - after his wife passed in 1971 he just wanted to join her for a long time and was barely eating In that period.
Theirs was a great love.

According to co-stars in Frankenstein and the Monster From Hell, he lived on coffee the whole shoot. Hence he tends to look horrendously thin, as you can see from his face in that cover shot.

Not that that comes across in his performances on screen. If anything his performances are even better than normal. I think he felt he had nothing else to live for, so he threw everything into his acting.

Anyway, hope you enjoyed the movie.

They knew what they were doing using Kate.

And I'm surprised it took me 13 years to come across that.

Knocked 14 off of the list this month!

Went and watched the new Predator yesterday.

The first scene was terrible and I was dreading what was about to come. Got pleasantly surprised. Decent action movie which despite some utter dumb stuff had some unexpected depth. And if you're simply in it for the action then you are well served.

Slight crossover to the Aliens universe in the shape of the Weyland Yutani corporation makes this even better for an Alien universe fan such as myself. The basic premise of a human civilization that is a techno feudalist hellhole just never disappoints.

Today I will catch up with the latest episode of Welcome to Derry. It took a while, but it got so much better once Pennywise appeared proper. Sunday's movie was Bring her Back and is probably now my favorite horror movie of 2025 (better than Weapons), with an outstanding turn by Sally Hawkins.

IMO it wasn't a particularly great Predator movie, but was a decent paint by numbers sci-fi movie. Quite forgettable though.

Fixing to watch some scenes from "The Spongebob Movie: 2004" on Youtube. Some scenes will make you laugh and smile, good for undergoing stress.

Stranger Things season 1. Those big ass walkie-talkies the kids use are hilarious. I didn't realise they called it Radio Shack because their radios are shack-sized.

I went to my best friend's house for a binge watch of the animated HTTYD series. We only got through the first movie and the first half of Part 1 of Riders of Berk. She let me borrow her disks so I can watch the rest and Defenders. Once I'm caught up with that, we will probably watch the other movies.

Starting on Stardom's December 8th show from Korakuen Hall

Opening match proper is nothing particularly special or especially worth seeking out consideing the two pictured are rookies with a combined total of under 40 matches of experience (for comparision's sake: the Cagematch website database has their felliow rookies Ema Maishima and Kikyo Furusawa, who both debuted after them, at 53 and 59 matches respectively but also not updated to include this event in results) and are essentially starting over their careers after long injury layoffs, but also alright all things considered.

Anne (with insistent pronunciation of An-neigh) is enthusiatic, Matoi more grounded in personality. Raw potential from both of them. Not GODMODE potential but the tools are there. Matoi gets the win with a modified half-Boston Crab after like nine minutes.

Finished Season 1 of Dragons. Now I'm going into Defenders of Berk, and after that will be Race to the Edge.

Really hate Mildew, by the way...
