Hi, I'm a parent. After about 20 straight episodes the hate really begins to get cooking, alongside Barney, Elmo, Yo Gabba Gabba, The Wiggles, and The Fresh Street Band.

I don't see how being a parent makes any difference.
My Dad's over 50 and we both love it, everyone that I know likes it, and you can't put it in the same catagory as those other shows, that's cruel.

Didn't read much of the Spongebob debate, but I agree with the notion that they were phenomenal until about 2003-4, then sucked.

If you see this FK, they managed to get more edgy on The Burn than last week!

Of course you don't, you are not a parent. And you missed the qualifying statement, "after about 20 straight episodes." I should add that half those 20 are the same episode.

Also, your dad being over 50 has nothing to do with it, unless you are 2.

I'll tell you what, watch an episode on repeat, between stopping and starting have your dad sit next to you and go, "I want Spongebob again, I want Spongebob again." If you suggest a break or just say no have him immediately start crying and screaming. If you can calm him down have him answer every question with "I want Spongebob." Then pretend you are responsible person who doesn't want your dad watching TV all the time and has limited it to one episode a day, a rule that he needs to be reminded of everyday and every reminder is met with a tantrum.

Then come back and tell me how awesome Spongebob is. Or any children's TV for that matter.

Doctor Who, The End of Time Part 2. I'll miss the Tenth Doctor, he was great. We can all agree on that. But now, I am on the Eleventh Doctor. I wonder what Eleven will be like...

"I don't want to go..."

That's nothing to do with Spongebob, I would want to rip out my hair if I had to watch 10 of the same episode in a row of anything, even Spongebob/MLP/Initial D, so I get that.

If you're forced to do something then you will most likely not enjoy it.

I know how you feel, and I'm not even a parent! My little sister is like that all the time, watches the same tv shows on dvd 3 times on end, and when I go to watch The Listener on Wednesday nights it's met with objects being thrown at me and a crying session, sometimes she bites my arm, that hurts a lot.

Monty Python - The meaning of life
As always, brilliant, got to watch this Life of Brian and the Holy Grail, fantastic classic comedy, British style

Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story

I'm going to be spending a lot of time sitting here on duty on my cutter, and we've got HBO and Max, so I'm trying to catch up on all these awesome movies I never watched.

Just watched The Hunger Games, though I haven't read the books. Good movie, didn't feel too long.

2011 Stanley Cup Final Game 7 replay, im so nervous. I know Bruins win but its so exciting.

Just gotten into Counting Cars and then Fast 'n Loud as mental chewing gun, and then Spooks season 5 for more serious stuff.

Just finished watching this weeks Mrs. Browns Boys. It's got to be one of the best comedies I've seen this year.
