What Attracts you to GT5?

At first just racing online, then tuning. I drive a lot of quirky cars in GT5 but I think I'll be more time constrained for the life of GT6 and I'll probably just focus on tuning the really good cars along with a handful of those close to the top of the heap.
 
I'm still attracted to GT5 because of how many different cars I'm able to drive. I can pick out an RUF and drive endlessly around the Nurburgring, or I can go into full race mode and use a LMP at La Sarthe. And both transition from day to night and back to day again.

I think it's because I've played GT for almost its entirety, I know it and I understand it, yet I'm always discovering something new.
 
Muscle cars are respected in GT5. Unlike in many Need for Speeds.
 
The feeling of driving fast without feeding expensive tires and gas to my real car
 
I love cars and I love Gran Turismo. It's a double win 👍
 
Painting cars and goin online to free run with the others. It's so much fun to just relax and cruise in your favorite cars.
 
I've been playing GT5 for... three years? now, and still feel like there's so much left to do. Granted, the A-spec events are a little on the thin side, but there are so many variables to be had by using different cars. It's incredible that even now, I can re-do a relatively easy race in an underpowered car, and get that feeling of excitement and achievement that I used to get in the 'early days'. And then of course, there's Arcade Mode: jump into one of your favourite cars from your garage, and marvel at the variety of opponents that it throws at you. Basically, for me there's no other game to compete with GT5, for what it offers. YET.
 
well,i love gt5,for the cars,for the races, every single driving game i tried was nothing against gt5. Only thing i miss? gran turismo 3 with like the wind track and... my 450 km/h escudo... in gt5 only 330.. sigh
 
The huge number of cars available. I never get bored of getting a chance to drive them all. There's always something new to run.

I also like the weather and time changes they finally developed. I probably would have purchased GT5 anyway, but this was the main reason. Running 24 hours in the same light was dull.

The premium cars are great, too. Wish there were more, but a couple hundred is enough to get me started.
 
For me it's gotta be the steering wheel selection, first and foremost.

Second, the cars and how they drive!
 
The sports cars and GT and LM(P) race cars. All normal cars i'm not super interested in.

I'll be honest and say that 70% of Gt's cars don't interest me :P.
 
Ability to run everyday on Nurburgring in a different car for me. Unfortunaltely, I'm not interested of other parts of this game, Career mode is just a pain.

Initially, GT5 attract me because it's simply the best simulator on PS3.
