The lochness monster. I knew it was real!!
Ummm not in this thread please. Stay on topic.
The lochness monster. I knew it was real!!
-Loch Ness Pic-
What attracts me to GT is that it's the closest I'll ever get to driving a McLaren F1. I use the game(s) as a personal simulator and take "my" Mclaren out for a few laps every once in a while.
Lol agreed even though there is some things in the US that allows regular people to drive super cars in different NASCAR tracks for only 200$
Didn't know that, does that include the road courses?
Competitive racing, easy on the eye graphics, huge car selection. In my opinion, when you find a clean and fair room, its the closest you can get to real racing (on a console) without having to leave your sofa
In car view, especially at night and/or in the rain. Which is why GRID 2 is off the cards for me.![]()
The precision of it all,so many variables,so many angles,so many cars, pure cars, pure power!
Amen👍
I was hooked right from the beginning...... PS1 & GT1
It was like nothing I had ever experienced and I loved it.
GT5 in HD came along! Yes! it gave me a sense of realism like the predecessors couldn't.
Wife still doesn't understand my devotion to the game, but WGAF!!
I only play gt5 to for racing they took away my hybrids sp its back to raping people online. So far I've only come across two people that can keep up with me
. Gt5 is dead now that they took away hybrids
Amen👍
Lol same. My father let me race him a few times on GT1 and I was ok, but once GT3 came out, he couldn't win at all and he still can't to this day because I've gotten so used to racing that my dad can't keep up. I think he should stick to playing Iracing on the PC👍
I wouldn't say its dead. I think the reason why people think it's dead is because they didn't want to lose their hacked cars so they quit playing online because of
that update. GT5 is still full of people, but the people online, were the ones who really didn't care to either lose their hacked cars, or they just wanted to get back to real racing. I'm not bashing on hacked cars at all by any means, but I'm glad they are gone. It's been so much nicer just racing normal cars again.![]()
It is dead no one can keep up with me so it's dead
It's been mentioned before, so I'll say it again; use the multi-quote function if you want to respond to numerous posts. On the normal website, it's the speech-bubble image at the bottom of posts. For the app, click on the user's name to have a small dialog box open with a check-box to the left you can select; when you head to reply to the thread, there will be an option to multi-quote respond.
All double (or triple) posts will now be merged.
Oh yeah, and to stay on topic: not a whole lot these days. Photomode (so long as I don't want to do anything more than the small level of visual customization GT5 allows), the 'Ring and Spa, and a handful of Standards I love to drive (though not from a proper interior view, and need to avoid looking at too closely), are all that really hold my interest, and even then, I haven't played the game for any serious amount of time in months.
The unique charm that the Gran Turismo series possesses to me. I literally grew up with the GT franchise as it went from a hope and dream to a star-studded success. My original copies of the original Gran Turismo and Gran Turismo 2 still function perfectly, and I find myself going back to those two games on occasion whenever I get bored of GT5.
As for GT5, I strangely love customizing my driver...ALOT. I'm very picky about what my driver wears for some reason. Also I find myself tuning cars that I almost never see online; things like a 1978 Mirage or a Wagon R RR. Overall, I have yet to see a racing game that wins my heart over GT5.
coffeedrinker71I do not know how to use the multi quote well so thats why I stick to normal quoting.
Not that hard.
coffeedrinker71Says the guy with over 1,000 posts >_>
That's nothing![]()
