What car and track will be added in the fall update?

I'll say special stage R5, wet or not. And since I just got done reading how the new 09' Corvette ZR1 set the fastest lap EVER on the Nurburgring, i'll guess the new ZR1. It's a long shot at best, seeing how I don't remember having very many American cars in any GT that were actually the same model year as the year the game came out, usaully a few year old models.

Whats the time between spec I and spec II, and what time will be between spec II and future update. If you know the answer then you will know how much big the update will be :)
That is the reason why i said that there will be 30+ new cars minimum :sly:
As for the tracks i expect Trial Mountain to appear because Kaz told once that that track is his favourite and that he wish to build a real one if he had a chance (money and time)...

But the difference is that that GT5P was fresh released in the EU when the SpecII update was new (US as well?) and so they add new cars so the people in the EU had a reason more to buy the game... but now everybody has the game and i think kaz will only make money and so they keep the cars for GT5 and give us maybe 2 or 3 new cars...

but i hope we get more

Some of those tracks are really far-fetched for now; obviously the ring is gonna be in GT5, but I highly doubt its gonna be *in the next update*.
People can barely make it around Suzuka 5 times in a row right now, so how would the majority of people do around the ring?

My predictions:

  • Eiger Nordwand Rally/Full track

  • Nissan Skyline GT-R R32 Vspec II '94

I've wanted to see what's beyond those barriers at Eiger for so long now, since the GT HD Concept days. And the R32 hasn't been seen since then either (nor the Toyota Celica GT4 Rally, or the Mazda Eunos Roadster.)

Agreed. Haven't seen these cars for so long! Good to see you point them out. :D

Mercedes-Benz 190e EVO 11 and the Nordschleife would be my choice 👍

👍👍👍 Thats what I pick :)

By the way, I can't believe no one put in Ford Mustang SVT Cobra R

Hey it was in GT3 and 4 :)
But yeah, Ford already has 3 cars in GT5P, so for next update it would have to be something new.

Tsukuba? Too short, I do not wanna see it in Prologue still, its good for full game tho.

I don't believe some cars I'm seeing in this thread, it's supposed to be about educated guesses, not a wishlist for what you want in the update.

Eg. Nissan Maxima '97 and Brands Hatch? Of all the cars and tracks speculated and seen in various media, we came up with those 2? (There are more strange ones).

Everyone knows that The new California, RX7 tuned or new Lotus might be biggest chance to make it in.. or not, but everyone still likes to put their car on the mind.

Taken from the GT site press release here: http://www.gran-turismo.com/en/news/d1930.html

Citroen will create a special sports model concept car for “Gran Turismo”, in a unique collaboration project to be presented to the world. The result of the collaboration will be presented at the Paris Auto salon in October this year.

Cars: Citroen Prototype

Track: Sepang International Circuit
I'll put this in cos no one's ever mentioned it before. It's the only track outside of Japan on the Super GT calendar, and Nismo were here awhile ago to test the GT500 GT-R. Also happens to be my home track, designed by the same guy who redesigned Fuji Speedway. I don't blame you guys for not ever having driven a track way out here in little Malaysia, but if you love Fuji and Suzuka, you'll love Sepang. It's kind of a combination of both. Highly technical, yet very, very fast on the double straights. There's absolutely no evidence that this track will be in GT, but the PD-Nismo-Super GT connection is good enough for me to keep believing.

I hate the Fuji Speedway and i love Suzuka (by far the best track in GT5p). Unfortunately thing on the update is anyway, that its not for sure, that ANY track will made it to the update (or is it confirmed).

In my opinion GT5p needs way more tracks to stay interessting till 2010/2011. One track would be nice, but is by far to less (except it would be the Nordschleife).

New list

For one more time I'd like to re-iterate that this is not a wishlist. I'd like to know what you think what car and track will most likely be added in Spec III. So if you want to post in this thread for which you need texts like 'I'd like ....' or 'I hope ...' or 'my dream would be ...' then you're in the wrong place.

For a wishlist dream on and/or go to the appropriate thread somewhere else in GTP. Thanks 👍

Both Toyota and a Prototype Car would fit in nicely within Prologue’s “missings” without affecting to much the content of the full game. Many other would too, for sure.

The choice of the car may sound a bit optimistic, but had this thread be a wishlist, I would have asked for Spa and Porsche GT3.:)👍

Eventually, small hopes will turn into nice surprises, while big expectations will become major deceptions. Don’t want this to turn into the “fail update”.

and wheres Toyota?? i want Supra! and Midfield for the track
Sorry mate/mates.
The contents of these posts are no longer processed in the list in post #1. It's not about what you WANT but what you think will most likely be added to the game.
So please don't post in this thread unless you can give an (educated) guess with some sort of motivation why you think PD and KY will choose that car and track to add to Prologue.
I hope you understand.

This thread is to speculate on what will be added, not on what should be added.
