Something random and completely unrelated like a Fiat Panda, a Citroen Xantia or a Buick GNX.

No. PD want to make it appealing to the general public and people who don't know much about cars. Might be that KTM thing in the video.

I think it's safe to say it's gonna be one of those cars seen in the new trailer.

I'd love it be the TZ3 then c:

I'd pick the Dino, Countach or Tesla. Or that little retro racer, whatever the name is.

Light Car Company Rocket ;), it's actually a Gordon Murray-designed tandem seated roadcar, not a racer.
It weighs less than 400kg and has a 1000cc 20 valve inline-4 Yamaha bike engine (and gearbox).

Awesome 👍

Looks a bit like the infant baby of the Tank Car. Would be interesting to see which one is faster around the track.

it's unlikely a Japanese cars.

I guess it's Chevrolet corvette c7

This.

GT6 is coming out after the Tokyo Motor Show so we should see a GTR R35 facelift or R36 on the cover.
It depends on which we see on TMS, there is a chance we see both.

It's going to be the 2013 x1 or 2014 x1.

This. Just ended thread.

McLaren P1 maybe? Or Ferrari LaFerrari?

Gosh...if GT gave us this new generation of hypercars/bedroom poster legends I'll be thrilled as hell! They have the McLaren licence (for the P1) the Ferrari licence (for the ill named LaFerrari) and the Lamborghini licence (for the lovely Veneno); they would only miss the Porsche 918 but it's their loss giving the license to those clowns at EA.

Although, being more realistic, a car under a sheet would be a great nod back to the original GT in it's 15th anniversary! :D

Aa aerial shot of a long winding road made in the new coursecreator with The Dino cruising.

If that turns out to be the art (and I doubt it is) it's very poor, with the invisible car and floating tarp.

I really like it. It's simple and goes back to Gran Turismos roots. Seeing that reminds me of the first time I played GT when I was 5/6. It was the game that stopped me playing Sega MegaDrive with Sonic (Course since then I've got back into Sonic)

GT1 actually had a car under the tarp though, the above just looks odd with the tarp either floating or the bottom half of the car invisible.

Aston Martin Vanquish

They'll surely add the car to that cover at a certain date and perhaps later even remove the tarp.

991GT3 Cup car please ;)

Toyota GT-86

Fits the slang. All about driving.

Why not put every single car on the cover since they make such a big deal of having 1200?
Something like this but more closely stacked together.

Or this.

Lots of creative possibilities with colours and everything, although a vertical or horizontal approach might work better than the diagonal layouts shown above.

^ This one is better imo:
