For me:
FF Challenge
Focus ST '06, Focus ST '06, Volvo S60 t-5

FR Challenge
S2000 LM Race Car on all of them (not as easy as it sounds)

4WD Challenge
GT-R V Spec, Audi R8 4.2, Focus WRC '08

edit: Just did the Ferrari Formula Challenge in both the F2007 and F10, its easier in the F2007 IMO

I've only done FF so far. Will do the FR and 4WD event tomorrow.

Tsukuba: Acura Integra Type R
Eiger: Honda Civic RM
Trial Mountain: Spoon Integra Type R

I'm trying to make my selections for Seasonal 7 as competitive as possible.

I'm currently completing the FF Challenge using the Honda Civic SiR-II EG '91. Mine has basic power mods up to 210hp, Suspension stage 2, Single plate clutch, and Racing flywheel. I'm using comfort soft tires and have achieved Gold on Tsukuba and Trial Mountain. I may have to upgrade the tires to get above 3rd at Eiger -- I'm getting huge understeer in the downhill hairpins.

Eh...I started out trying to use something competitive, the Spoon Fit Race Car or whatever it is, until I saw how much these challenges aren't worth. I switched to the following after the first race to get them done fast and get back to Bob grinding the Dream Car races:

Neon SRT 04, fully tuned
Viper Team Oreca Race Car
HKS C230 or whatever it is from the HKS dealer, fully tuned

I don't see the point in fair a real shot at these for the trivial credits and experience points when I could be grinding Indy for A-Spec points (endurance, Dream Car, or Like The Wind).

credit and xp gravy train is over.

FF: Mini Cooper S '07
FR: ZR1 RM
4WD: Bugatti Veyron

not much resistance that way

Stock RM Civic
Stock RM Silvia
Stock RM WRX

So much fun :D

It's almost like these cars were designed specifically for these challenges.

You are the kind of guy I really dont want participating in my online races.

I just completed the f1 challenge...it was a bit too easy for me I won by over 30 seconds on all 3 races. I ran a 1:10.526 at R246, 1:29.295 at Nurb, ad a 1:10. 339 at Indy. It was fun for sure, but I was in the lead usually within 1 lap or two. I'm gonna go for the other races now and try to choose a car that will make it really tough to win :D

You're already finished with the new seasonals? How many laps are on all the events and really 3000 XP for every race?

The F1 race the xp ranges between 25k-35k

4wd challenge so far
audi s4
354hp
sport soft tires

Tried to stay competitive. Still got em.
spread em out. so ill update the others later on. ( a little break)

Make your own competition is the name of the game!

It was 3000 for the FF ones, the FR ones are a little more, the 4WD are more than the FR Challenge, and the Ferrari races are ~30,000. Theres between 3-5 laps on all the challenges except the Ferrari events, which are around 10 laps.

I just did the 4wd race. I used a stock evo X and it was real easy. I'm gonna find something slower tomorrow for more fun.

I haven't played them yet, and not sure I'll get the chance, but I got GT5 to enjoy playing a racing game, so I will be using a competitive car not an overtuned rocketship to enjoy playing the racing game by doing some races and not worry too much about the credits or XP.

FF; Honda Insight with most mods but stock gearbox and exhaust.
FR; Alfa Romeo Giulia.
4WD; R34 GT-R.

Don't have an F1 car yet but I'll probably buy the F2007 when funds allow. :-)

The 300 hp FR events are just silly. I used a 200 hp Miata on sport tyres and won the Cape Ring one with a comfortable 15 seconds. That's not really a challenge is it?

Im looking foward to this combination, now im in work!! damn!!:ouch:

Thats how they all went for me. The 4WD opponents have ~400 HP, the Focus WRC I had was 320ish and I won by over 20 seconds.

Haven't turned on my PS3 but what's the competition on al the challenges?
in other words: What are we racing against in FF, FR, 4WD?

Other FF cars with ~200 HP
then other FR cars with ~300 HP
then other 4WD cars with ~400 HP
and finally the Ferrari Formula One cars.

here is what I used on all and it made it fun.
FF- Stock Citroen C4
FR- Stock BMW 135I
4WD- Stock Evo X

I used Comfort soft tires on all of them. Made for some fun racing.

So far
FF Challenge
Spoon Honda Integra Type R (DC2) '99 on Comfort Soft

I've just finished FF events 1 and 2 and found them to be so ridiculously easy i cant believe it 👎

I'm seriously considering a few mods on my 2cv6 and entering FF3 with it...on the other hand what a waste of cash!

Use a car that makes it a challenge. I used a honda prelude(stock), sports soft tyres, not easy at all. If you find the F1 challenge easy you must be the reincarnation of Ayrton Senna.

I bought and tuned an Aventime as my lad wanted to emulate the Top Gear Challenge against the Evo, so I'll do it with that for a laugh :)

LoL, you can't read very well, can you!?!

I just bought myself a Jag S Type R from the UCD, didn't change the oil or do any mods at all (not even the tyres), made no changes to any of the aids and won FR event 1 by just over 7.5 secs.
