I would pay $100+ for all of these plus the ones I added to the DLC thread. And I guarantee you I wouldn't be alone in that.

We could just cut this thread quite short and say every premium road car should have an RM version eventually... But if I had to choose 11 for the next DLC I'd pick:

1. BMW Z4M
2. 300SL (300SLR, yes please!)
3. Fiat 500 (not the new one)
4. Lamborghini Gallardo
5. Ferrari 430 (into a 430 Challenge copy)
6. Lotus Evora
7. Mitsubishi Evo IV
8. Suzuki Swift (into a Super Taikyu type thing)
9. Toyota Supra
10. Nissan Silvia Dia Selection (or whatever it's called, I can never remember)
11. Volvo C30 (into a Polestar replica).

Probably.

Can I make a change to this one please mate.....

Same requirements aply for exhaust!

The more I think about this, the more I'm starting to realise that I'd be happy with just one new RM car in next DLC, as long as that car is the BMW M3.

Anything EU. Was slightly peeved at the lineup. All Japanese cars except one.:irked:
Not one car from europe though.
I think the next one should be 70% EU & 30% USA.

As you can probably guess, I voted for all the cars from the EU.👍

No I mean take the NASCAR frame and put a livery...

Sorry, I just had to.
Seriously though, it'll be almost the same. I makes no sense at all since RM is mostly to make road cars perform better, and a NASCAR stock is already at it's top performance, for it's competition at least.

Realistically, it would be nice to have at least one RM from each "premium" manufacturer. Obviously, certain manufacturers will warrant more than one (Ferrari comes to mind). How about a nice race modded Saleen S7 TT? :)

Yes, yes and yes to all of the above!

The Vw Samba! Would be sooooo Epic! Give it around 400bhp!

This made me think about another possibility regarding a TC version of the Samba.
Since the TC option opens up new and more possibilities regarding performance levels than an RM option and since they have to remodel or alter an existing car anyway, in this case the Samba, then why not go completely bonkers for once?
Especially since a period racing-Samba doesn't exist, unlike the classic Camaro and Challenger, so a completely redesigned, perhaps GT-labelled Samba 'special' would be more suited than a non-existing raceversion.

I'm thinking a mid-engined rear wheel drive layout, with a big engine from the Volkswagen brand, either an Audi R8 sourced V8/V10, the V10 or V12 engines from Lamborghini (getting excited already?) or how about that big diesel lump from the Audi R10TDI?
That engine would take the place of the benches/seats in the rear, possibly hidden under a large metal cover beneath the roll bars taking up the rest of the space visible when looking behind.
All this within the existing Samba-shell with a modified dashboard ofcourse and an appropriately modified exterior perhaps too.

Chances are, this car won't even be mentioned anymore when they release something like that. ;)

Imagine something very similar to this but instead of looking like a Transit, it'll look like a Samba. :D

That looks like a squashed bug or something...

I'm looking forward to a livery editor rather than more race car packs. It just seems a lot more reasonable, that way we could do these racing modifications on any car we want. I wonder how difficult it would be for PD to include such a feature in GT5. With the recent interview, though, it sounds like it's something that's being saved for GT6.

I agree for the most part, but the only downfall are the immature kids who will most likely make an offensive livery...
