The game says it's Japanese because the listed manufacturer is GT. In reality, this car really comes from Austria seeing as Red Bull are the folks who, let's be honest, probably created 90% of the car's features/capabilities at their own facilities. PD merely created the idea.

You are wrong PD had the idea of a closed cockpit,closed wheel,single seater with low drag and high downforce and they made that THEN red bull guys came in and had the idea of a "fan car" so they added tht and then they TOGETHER fine tuned the aerodynamics

If you watch the video where they create the car, PD design the entire car, then Newey comes along and sticks a fan on it. PD made it. Not Red Bull. Not Newey. PD are the makers. It doesn't exist in reality and never will. This means that the game has the last say so its Japanese. The only reason Red Bull are linked to the car is because of Newey. They just went over the top and put Red Bull in photo travel and on the X2010. It also lets them use Seb Vettel's overalls.
