The usual. Completed my daily, did a few road rivals, and continued experimenting with the Revuelto MR tune. She's rather slippery around the corners, so need to work on making her more smooth & stable.
 
Found 12 barn finds that I'd seemingly forgotten to look for, as I hadn't noticed new ones popping up. Do they not do the 'barn find nearby' notice anymore?

Also, gave the Be-1 a local track day paint job. Hence why I bemoaned the lack of track width adjustment.

Just usual, finish remaining playlist races, daily challenges and grind to level up. I've just got the purple stamp from Discover Japan and finally got this Forza Edition car when I redeem the daily wheelspin from my house.

I don't particularly like either and I wouldn't pay a red cent to add them back to my garage, but tbh I'm also banking on them being offered as Seasonal rewards at some point.
 
Finished the SF of my S2 street race rivals runs. It’s a Ferrari v Ferrari final:

Obviously the F40C isn’t better than the 787B but the tracks fell well to make it competitive.
 
I finally snapped all the cars for Horizon Promo (bar the Huracan Spyder and the Honda from this week's car pass). The first 350 weren't too bad us I used an eventlab series that went through all the cars from D - R however that didn't capture all of the cars and left me with quite a few gaps. I then photographed all the others which was an absolute grind tbh - when I got to 550 was I going to quit given I had met the accolade but I decided to be that completionist!

I've never completed Promo before I any of the horizons - I got close in FH5 but that wasn't really deliberate I just happened that I picked up over the years photos of the cars in the game.

Probably the biggest grind in the game so far - more so than Raku Raku!

I’ve done several Stunt Parties, including a rare triple dip at the Chaos party at the airport.

Thanks to the Honda Z GT, I’ve now completed the Horizon Promo challenge.

But at least I don't have to waste 20 million credits in the auction house on it now. 👍

Wait someone actually paid 20 million for the F-150 FE?

Edit: I saw your other post and yes someone did. I wonder if people have bots setup and they hit the Y button at the wrong time which is the fastest way to buyout an auction but it also clears the search criteria and then they end up continually buying whichever car pops up first.

Who can say? I don’t know what you can do in the game with a PC. But if someone wants my spare F-150 FE for 20M credits, they can have it for 20M credits.

I should have mentioned I restarted the game about twenty times today trying to reset the dealership hoping for a car I don’t already have. No luck.
 
I had to convert the Fiat 131 Abarth Rally to AWD to get the 2 dirt race wins because with RWD the car just can't put the power on the road. I also got the Aston Martin Valkyrie from a super wheelspin.

Might look around Tokyo to see what I can do to create a circuit via the event lab. So far, I've got two in mind I'd like to like to try to re-create as they happen to be fantastic city circuits and also because they're both based in Japan.

You can get the #13 Mustang on the auction house for less than 10 million credits anytime.

During my wheelspin farming sessions, this wagon proved to be strangely rare. While I scored seven copies of the legendary Aston Martin Valhalla Concept so far, and also seven copies of the Nissan 240SX, I still have only one Mustang #13.
 
Did the daily with my Abarth 595 drift car and a lot of Stunt Parties.

I had some good wheelspins: The wheelspin-exclusive Ur-Quattro (I now have 29 wheelspin cars, need 17 more), a 190 E FE I turned for a quarter million credits in the AH, and the Sián Roadster.

There are just five cars left in the autoshow I haven’t bought yet. They’re high priced Italian exotics. I’m hoping they show up at the dealership before the week is out.

I complete the daily challenge with the Lamborghini Huracán Sterrato. 2x ⭐ 📡 Then I had a dirt race and some duel. I also farmed for a while with the Subaru Impreza WRX STi 22B to collect some perks. I'm going to unlock the Mazda Cosmo on Thursday, I still have 20FP left. What was the most amazing, I took the Nissan Patrol and drove the mountain road by the waterfall. It's a super awesome off-road vehicle. 🏁 Then I drove around the map in free play for a while with a lot of cars, but mostly with the Ferrari F8 Tributo, the roads and corners are really amazing. 😍

What is the Horizon stadium? Because I took pics at the baseball stadium and the Horizon site and nothing happened. I turned the Ioniq 5 in a respectable off roader by switching to rally suspension/tyres and losing some weight, then I did the championship and got a duplicate Huracan. I also took the Centenario to the drag strip and passed with a 17.999 time (phew!)

Edit: Duh, I just figured what and where is the Horizon stadium... :dunce:

I’m still hitting the stunt parties hard, banking those credits and skill points to unlock car mastery wheelspins. That got me another one. I’m now at 31 of 46 wheelspin cars.

After overtaking him cleanly in 1st race he started shenenigans, so i recorded the 2nd race...
Overtook him cleanly again, and he rammed me into the wall the next turn, luckily I took no penalty and he went hard into the wall.
Next race he deliberately pushed me out of the checkpoint, luckily I barely managed to recover and hit the checkpoint but went to last position.

Wow there is definitely money to be made using the Auction House. I think I made the mistake of assuming people would be rational and try to get the most money for their cars and vice versa, but buying out cars for 100k and selling them for multiple millions (2-4 typically) was much easier than I thought it would be. I also got lucky finding some duplicates I wanted at good prices: a third Temerario for 11 million, a second LFA FE for 2 million, a Porsche 964 Turbo for 11 million, and a skyline R33 for 10.5 million. I currently have 3 Temerario’s (I paid 31 million for the 2 extras) 3 Lancia 037 (7 million for the 2), and 3 Pantera’s (4 million for the 2). So lately I’ve been playing the auction house game as much as the racing game lol.
 
Attempting and failing to enter the top hundred times on A-class Edamame in a variety of kei cars and track toys, I am reminded of the words of one Z. Stardust...

I did the daily which required redeeming a wheelspin, and I got a wheelspin-exclusive Porsche I needed. I got a second one in another wheelspin later in the day.

I got a Mercedes 190 FE and Wuling FE in wheelspins. I got only 15K credits for the Merc in the auction house, but 505K for the Wuling.

Otherwise, mostly just a lot of stunt parties and skill score farming.
 
It rarely makes sense to go to the auction house with most of the wheelspin exclusive FEs (which simply are much more common than the other wheelspin exclusive cars) and in most cases you'll lose money when not taking the money instead of the car. One exception is the Nissan GT-R which can be easily sold for 2-3 milltion credits on the AH, but for the other wheelspin FEs: Just take the money.
 
I got to 160 season points to get the Ferrari 296 GTB. I got another Maserati MC20 by using The Cholla in that championship, which is now my favorite off roader for its ability to turn on a dime without rolling over, and cutting through corners with almost impunity.
