What did you do in GT7 today?

I joined the Spa 24h grind event and learned (on lap 8) that the Audi RS5 DTM '19 doesn't come with wet weather tires like EVERY OTHER ****ING CAR IN THE GAME. :banghead:
The car doesn't come with wet tyres as standard, you need to buy them.

ignore me I forgot how bad this game is. racecars should like, come with rain tires?
I would say that Rally cars should come with dirt tyres, but race cars with rain tyres ? Can't see why, unless you think they should be sold with all race tyre compounds ? All cars come with one set of tyres, so...

Today I done not much just have my credits at max and just waiting for the 97 F1. I also discovered the Hyundai VGT and fell in love with the design of this car. It almost looks like a Hypercar from the WEC series which makes me wonder what if Hyundai made this car and raced it in the wec.

Also Got another 3 star ticket stuff.

Bought the Mazda 2019 3X, maxed it out and ran it at various tracks. What a nice little ride! Even without tuning, it handles excellently.

Needs some work, as it can get a bit squirrelly in transitions. Not bad, though. It needs a little gearbox work, topping out at 156mph, way too short at Tokyo and Bathurst.

I ran a variety today, got 10k from the wheel.

Completed the M-stripe duo (unless there's a white variant.)

Done a bit of grinding to get my credits balance up, without selling cars I like. I don't have cars I don't like, so the credits have to come from glorified time trials with handicaps. That's what I consider the grind races to be now.
Collected a stupid high penalty for ignoring track limits.

The daily ticket rewarded me a Honda NSX Gr.B. Used it to do the dirt race at Catalunya with, which I've never completed. Now I know why I never did. It's not much fun. But at least, I've won every race on that track now.

Well, my back has been killing me today so I didn't do much. Made a 600pp tune for the Veyron and ran it at Tokyo. Easy win with CRB. 4 star ticket gave out 1M credits!!! It's like the game knew I didn't have it in me to grind any more so it gave me a bunch of credits to walk away from the sim-rig and heal my back. Thanks, PD!

Saturday I got lucky and won a 6 star ticket from the DW, but the payout was the lowest possible 500,000. Sunday slapped me with a 3 star. Bought the Porsche 919. Read in a thread that the Escudo was coming back so spent some time farming Le Mans with a Huracan GT3 and then spent some time tuning the engine swapped M3 '03 for the Nurburgring.

Ran 2 last grinds at Sardegna to finally be able to afford the Ferrari 330 P4 😅

Ran 2 muscle car events at Grand Valley reverse to complete the budget for the P4

And won a Lexus RCF Gr.4 with my daily workout 4* ticket, a nice change from the usual crap.

After taking a less-than-planned day off yesterday, on the Plus account, I started down the Gr.3 list with the Citroen GT. It was more tail-happy and thirstier than I remembered as I had to turn the FM down to 3 to make it 5 laps. I then had to turn a pair of sub-1:41 laps just to hound Fraga the Rabbit into pitting a third time (on normal...while gaining just over a second from the start of lap 13 to when Fraga pitted at the end of lap 14) en route to the win in 26:44.

At least I got a 5-star Wheel of Despair out of it. Big whoop - the cashless wheel gave a stage-5 weight reduction for...the Tesla.

On the GTP account, I rolled the fat pig...er...Alphard around Kyoto to get a marginal silver time in the online time trial. I then bought a second Aston Martin DBR9 for the WRS time trial, and ran a few laps.

I used the first to grind a way-too-close win at Sardegna. I had to forgo tires on the second stop (lap 11), and a finish time of 26:41 was good enough for only a 1.8-second win over Fraga. Third place was almost 48 seconds back.

The 4-star was even more worthless than usual, puking out a Ferrari invite. Still, I should be able to buy Ferrari 250 GTO shortly after it comes back later this week.

The other day, I improved my time for the current Online Time Trial, insofar that I ended up only being 2.48% off the top - at least, the last time I checked. What's funny, though, is that I claimed the four-star ticket you win from collecting all three Toyota family cars, and only got 10k credits, but when I opened the four-star ticket from my daily workout the same day, I got 500k credits! Funny how that works.

Took a fully upgraded Alphard out to WTC700 Sarthe. If fuel consumption wasn't so horrendous, it would be really fun to fight for a win with. Handling is pretty solid for a lounge van and for a race car too, btw. Sadly, even on FM6 you can't get more than 1,9 laps on 1 tank, meaning it would probably take 6 stops for fuel alone. And it's not fast enough to pick up a lead big enough to get that strategy done. Squeezed a 4:13 out of it on lap 1, but had to limp back to the pit on lap 2. No fuel 😂

Completed one of the two new Extra Menus. Got a 4 star ticket for spending cash on Toyota's I'd never buy otherwise, worth a measily 30K. Such incentive to complete these menus!
Never again, unless it's an engine ticket.

Edit: lol for the engine ticket today 😂
I did that this evening. That Alphard is hilarious when fully loaded, and just under 4:30 for a lap on FM1. But you're right, pitting every lap could be a bore🤣🤣

Didn't do much in GT7 today. The grinding bore is kicking in rapidly. Got no inspiration for doing liveries neither.
Would probably do more racing if there were more nice race classes with classics or decent endurance races to do, but GT7 is seriously lacking on that front.
Haven't even done the daily mileage for the lousy ticket yet.

What did you do in GT7 today ?

Long story short.. been kickin' the tar out of mf'ers.. racin' my Italian, German & American rides.. every one of them doing what they should do, except one, the Lambo Diablo.. 3rd, 5th, 4th, 3rd (all back to back).. think i'm gonna for a 5th race with that car & see what the issue is.. In the meantime, this is how it's been going lately on the avg..

(Edited in 4/4: pulled a 2nd place LATE last night.. smh, still not 1st tho'.. gonna catch that rabbit today, Tuesday!)

(Edit: got that Rabitt.. 10PM/PST/Tuesday.. will post results tomorrow.. gotta get sleep.. LoL.. night night gentlemen..)

Completed the Nurburgring Endurance race for 200,000 CR. Got another 3 star resulting in 5000 CR, was two cars on the wheel for once. Since I already had done a couple of laps I didn't take the M3 out for a spin, I'll save that one for tonight.

One grind at Sardegna, only 22k Cr. left after buying the 330 P4 yesterday.

Bought the Fairlady 240ZG (HS30) '71 at UCD and the Silvia Silvia K's Aero (S14) '96 that were the only two I don't have bought yet.

4* ticket for DW, got me a Toyota S-FR Concept '16 🤓

I'll maybe try the TT with the fridge tonight. As I already have the car and the gold seems easy to get.

Me right now with my 100M Credits.

@Fezzik To be fair I don't mind grinding as you need to grind to be able own as many of the cars as the game lets you (Looking at you Ferrari).

I'm a JRPGs player and grinding is a big part of those games which is why I can go down to 23K credits and in less then 2 weeks I'm back at 100M.

As for the topic today I made 3 team cars livery for the Hyundai N2025.

I didn't buy the 5 F1 97 not yet at least since I'm gonna wait for the Escudo to buy 3 and then get my credits back to 100M and then buy the 5 F1 97 to finish my dream grind.

Ran Tokyo a couple times last night in cars that I wouldn't normally run it in just to try. Took the van out there on hard difficulty. Only managed 6th with lots of pushing and shoving as the AI is so slow in the corners. Then I took the LS7 swapped Sil-eighty out there. That won fairly easily.

4 star ticked gave me a Toyota GR86. Sold it for 11k credits. SMH.

Been a while since I've last posted here. Today started playing again after quite a long hiatus to finally try out patch 1.31 and what a better way than the Audi RS5 DTM?

Did two Sardegna runs, one with a setup I found on YouTube and the second run with our based tuning master's, and the second run was pure fire! What a great car, really loving it. Thanks to the double Sardegna win I also bought another 1.31 car, the Porsche 959. Again, took Master's tune and went wallriding in Tokyo for some cash.

It's a great car, looks wonderful and drives really nice, a bit angry but nowhere near to the levels of the 964. Also decided to try it on a proper track with no cheats so went to Kyoto for the Porsche Cup, at 620pp (Praiano's tune but with full power) this thing mauls the competition easily, I also went bananas on the last lap and spun, still managed to catch Carrazza again and passed him right on the finish line.

Wheel of (Mis)Fortune was kind to me, as the 4* ticket gifted me a Genesis Gr.3 which I did not have.

Had more fun with the Alphard today. Now fully liveried too (I must post some pics), I tried some WTC700 races. Fuel economy kills it though, as does it's appetite for tyres. Last knockings, I remembered the WTC700 Championship which doesn't have tyre wear or fuel. Trial Mountain was the only race I had time for, but I got a 3rd. A better driver could have won it - I just couldn't quite get below 2'02" a lap, and I kept spinning out. That's the biggest problem with it's sheer bulk - once it starts rotating I can't seem to catch it. Reminds me of old 911s actually, where you're absolutely fine until you absolutely aren't:lol:.

It is satisfying overtaking a Ferrari in a van though!
