Back in the day I made tons of liveries playing Assetto Corsa and even got special requests from virtual racing teams. I also created a generic livery series for a competition organised by RaceDepartment. I had so much fun with it and sometimes it earned me a few dollars. With the kids growing up and family life taking over, also the breakdown of my pc, it came to an end but now I relive a bit of that after +10yrs with GT7 and this forum.

It's really cool and lovely to see all these nice creations for various cars and some really stand out. Like yours. You're doing a great job. Which editor do you use? I used GIMP 2.8 back then, an open source photo and design program. It took me a year to get myself educated and it was perfect for the templates of Assetto Corsa.

Nice, that sounds really cool! I just use the standard geometric shapes from the game's livery editor and decals made by other players from the showcase.

The in-game editor is actually a really good tool. Sometimes I do find that some models aren't 100% symmetrical, it happens I need to fill up a gap of a half square inch when mirroring a painted object.

Today I will be afk grinding the Daytona oval cheat credit with the N-One (no wide body kit so it never hits the other cars) and will be cashing 750.000cr, every hour of the day... There's a street sale in front of my house and this is perfect to combine with an endurance money grind.

Yes, just like you I've noticed that as well while mirroring decals. The car models are incredily well made in the game but some parts are still slightly off. I noticed that especially with manufacturer logos (e.g. the Mercedes Star or Porsche logo) which are often not exactly at the center of the hood but very slightly offset.

To stay on topic: I'm currently working on two IMSA replica liveries for the BMW M6 GT3.

I recently went back through my profile and checked my monthly distances. They had been dropping quickly since January and reached next zero in May.
June, 24h Le Mans month, I covered 1,000km in numerous races as it is my favourite sporting event. It returned back to almost nothing in July and August as the new content does very little for me.

This is how I see it staying now unless we receive a race car that really catches my eye.

I still put GT7 on pretty much each day but put on a replay in the background when I am pottering away at home.

WTC 600 : almost stock Ferrari GTO of 1984 took me to the victory. Wonderful road behaviour with a sports suspension, sports exhaust and medium sports tyres. No refuel, no tyre change needed. Switched between fuel map 3 to 6 depending on straight or swerve section.

This race I had to use some elbow work to capture the win, I just couldn't get to that 4C closer than 2sec in the last of just 5 laps.

I was really trying to do any grind races so I wanted to drive something had driven before, so I chose the 72 A110. I painted a stock one a Nissan Orange and drove for a few laps around Laguna Seca. Fun car I had be careful because it felt tail happy to me. Next I got another A110 and did the swap got to around 700pp and went to Laguna Seca. Much faster and actually more stable since got a wing to add some down force.
 
Apart from driving for fun, today found me exploring a few "Museums" and discovering a couple of cars which might be entertaining additions to the GT7 car list.

The Alfa Romeo would be a delight in VR, I'm thinking

The BEE inspires thoughts of engine swaps 😂

I think I'll be spending more time visiting museums, this was fun

After enjoying the A110 I decided to take it LeMans. I used h=the swapped version and added ballast to get it under 700pp. TBH I could have just switched to RH from RMs but I didn't want to do that. Also I think Mid RPM turbo would probably work better than the High RPM turbo ( but that's for another day) I got 5 laps at FM6 I think I can go at least FM3 or 4 and get at least 3 laps. On e the 1st lap although I know it's just AI the Porsche I think it was one of the Japanese drivers just randomly slammed into me. More than likely I was on the ideal line and the AI was trying to get there and it ran my off the road. The rain came around the end of lap 3 so I switched to W and pitted again at the end of lap 5 back RH and finished the race on lap 6 only like 4 seconds ahead of the AI. I probably would have been better off not pitting but at came in 2nd before because I stayed on wets too long and lost. I didn't want to repeat and I still almost lost the race. Got 30k cr from 4 star ticket. Created a livery for the Speed Six
 
Really enjoyed the 962 online trial, felt happy with my 1:35 lap and then noticed I was 7 seconds off silver. 😬

On Friday I completed 3/5 of the weekly challenges, on Saturday I did the rest and my final prize was a Suzuki VGT. *Insert sad face meme

Yesterday I also did the COTW proposed single player challenge which envolved the lovely Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione and then I did some small tweaks in my GTO Twin Turbo.

Sunday morning I set a lap time with the same GTO in my Autopolis ranking.

No online time trial for me this weekend because the Stratos at Eiger Norwand reverse didn't seem to be fun for me.

So today did a GT4 race Leguna seca used the Hyundai GT4, then been grinding out WTC 800 event used the Lexus sc 430 and the Aston Martin vantage GT3. Getting very close to owning all brand central cars just some VGT cars left and also want to have some credits for update too and a couple more VGT cars later this week 😁.

Thank you to the community and the liveries makers and the race suit and helmet makers, still using my Australian green and gold suit or Sophy blue one 😉 thank you 🙏

I did ~700pp 3-lap custom Sophy race on Nürburgring 24. Unfortunately, I rage quitted at the middle of 3rd lap. I was leading and keeping my pace (no mistake etc) but "intelligent" Sophy decided to magically regain 5s and push me off the track. I think I'm setting something wrong, or the Sophy is just what it is. All opponents were my garage cars which I'm familiar with, but in one moment I'm overtaking one of them on the straight (which I know is much faster than the car I'm driving) and in another scenario my super grippy car is loosing in the corner with something that doesn't grip at all when I drive it.

Did you set the boost to low in race set-up? Because when off, AI will rubberband.
