I finished the weekly events with the F3500 race at Yas Marina (1st place) and got the 500,000 cr bonus. Later I got the daily mileage for a 4-star ticket, and I earned the F3500-A motor swap, ironically.

Then after some runs here and there, I decided to cull the car roster a bit. Just cars that don't really fit me and probably only served to complete a menu and raise my collector's level: the RE Amemiya FD3S RX-7, the Audi R8 4.2 and the Sport Quattro S1 Pikes Peak (1 point something million credits, nice).
 
Daily marathon and scored yet ANOTHER Nissan GTR Nismo GT3 off of a 4 star ticket

Engine swapped one of my new Ford Escort RS Cosworths

Bought a Renault Clio V6 from the Used Car Dealer and swapped the it with the Imprezza rally car engine.

I completed the Dodge menu when the Charger R/T 426 HEMI showed up at Hagerty's (cheap), from the 5-star ticket I got... another SRT Tomahawk, so I sold it for 661,000 cr.

I went back to the green branch of the PP and at Barcelona I won my 1st 1 pepper race against a very testy V. Gallo, and from the 6-star ticket I got 500,000 cr. As all the practice/qualifying/race easily covers the daily mileage, I got my crummy 3-star ticket from there for an even crummier 5,000 cr return.
 
I don't know why I've never tried night-driving at La Sarthe before (maybe I did and forgot 😂), the learning curve was a fun experience yesterday

 
Today, out of a failed experiment, came a success.

I tried to make a profit by dropping a Ferrari engine into a newly bought Alfa 4C '14 and offering to sell it. FAIL!

So I kept the Alfa, added tyres, suspension, gearbox and brakes and took it to the WTC700 at La Sarthe. WIN!!

Worked on a Gr.4 FF only Super Touring+™ spec grid, in preparation for the ELANTRA TC. Happy with testing results versus SOPHY. Only bad thing will be the Hyundai won't be SOPHY-ready when it gets added.
 
The Neo-Classic menu must be the most odious in the game. In reality it should be named "Wait until you can actually afford and buy an old 90's Group C racer" Pay-to-win in the most literal sense. :mad:

From the seasonal menu ticket, I just got 100,000 cr (meh), but I hadn't noticed I completed the Peugeot menu book, and the ticket from there earned me a rather rare car, the Nismo R34 GT-R Z-tune. Together with my purchase of the GT-R GT500, my collector level is now 56.
 
-Drove the Mercedes-Sauber C9, Mercedes CLK-LM and Mercedes AMG GT3 '20 around Monza
-Drove the Porsche 911 RSR around the Nurburgring 24H layout
-Bought the Mercedes S Barker Tourer and drove it around the Red Bull Ring
-Bought the Dodge Challenger Demon and drove it around Circuit Gilles Villeneuve
 
Did the Nissan GT-R Cup race at Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve with the Nismo GT-R.

It‘s impressive to me how different the car feels compared to the regular GT-R despite having only slightly more power and weighing a few kilos less. The steering is so much more responsive and the car feels way more planted with a lot less body roll. Definitely one of my favorite cars in the game!

I also continued working on a few replica liveries for the 296 GT3 that I‘m probably going to finish this weekend.

-Bought the '68 Charger, repainted it, changed the wheels and drove it around Road Atlanta
-Bought the Nissan 300ZX and drove it around Yas Marina
-Unmodified my Challenger Demon powered Mitsubishi GTO and drove it around Catalunya
-Drove the Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series around Yas Marina
 
I did the time trial with the Espace F1 and got silver in my first attempt. It's cool that it's a rental because a) It's not in Hagerty's right now, and B) I don't plan to purchase it.

Then I went to the PP and in the green branch I won a thrilling race at Spielberg onboard the Mercedes CLK GTR, besting J. Delgado's McLaren F1 GTR on the next to last corner.

And I had a very profitable day: 250,000 cr for an online time trial (with the Supra), 250,000 for the aforementioned win, 100,000 cr for the 1st weekly event, and 10,000 cr for the meh 3-star ticket for the daily mileage.

Got a 49.7xx on the Time Trial event without breaking much of a sweat, so I was very happy with that. :D

I had a run at the Online Time Trail at Watkins Glen, and got within 0.1s of a Gold, so I had to continue until I got into the Gold zone... didn't take too long, but I always appear to be right on the margin of Gold and Silver, and I expect that I will need to improve by a couple of tenths to earn my 2M in 11 days time.

I now have a balance of 24M Cr. and am in two minds as to what to buy - I would like the Barker Tourer which is currently available for 13M, and then save back up to 20M Cr. for the Shelby Cobra; but I would also like to complete the Alfa Menu book, which would also require another 20M Cr. purchase.

What did I NOT do in GT7 yesterday?

I'm in an agony of indecision whether to buy the Porsche 917 or this McLaren. Or wait for something even MORE appealing. When the 917 goes into short supply, that'll force a decision.

I did a test race for the manufacturer cup and updated my Porsche design for the occasion. Also did a special livery for the Nurburgring round.

I'm trying to get gold in Circuit Experience Dragon Trail Seaside Sector 1. My best time is 0.108 outside of gold!

Manual gearbox, ABS, TC 1.
