What did you do in GT7 today?

After almost three years of playing, I've completed the car collection, with no grinding involved. Just 100% circuit experiences (Wait! My screenshot shows I'm missing 4, where did those come from?). Three years of gold and silver time trial awards, loads of minimal sport mode winnings, plus a few nice GTWS $4M~$5M season payouts.

Could it be the newer tracks?

Or others that have CE for multiple layouts?

did the usual daily

Had to bring down my credits ( again ) before the weeklys, bought another Castrol Supra from the Legends Dealer - found a great Livery from FK / Massimo JGTC team.

I can't remember if I had cleared the Gr.1 Prototype Series round at St. Croix C or not, so if I haven't, I think I'll do that today since it's part of the current weekly challenges. However, if I have, I'll likely try my hand at the online time trial featuring Gr.1 @ Daytona Road Course, and it does seem that the Peugeot L750R VGT is the popular pick.

EDIT: The last time I played on this past Wednesday, I did the online time trial featuring the Lexus LC500 @ Watkins Glen, and got into gold range. Plus I got a four-star roulette ticket that netted me the engine from the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution Gr.B Rally Car, so that was really nifty!

Made an SF26 livery for the F3500 - Alpine is next

The Supra GT500 appeared at Haggerty's so I bought it and completed another menu (Japanese Super GT or something). I thought earning credits would be a problem, but my stats show that I've earned 57,075,705 cr over my playing time and purchased 124 cars out of 222 that I currently have.

If I really wanted a 10 or 20 million-credit auto, it might be an issue... but I don't, so it's not.

-Bought the Silvia S14 and the Evo 3 from the used car dealer and drove them around Tokyo Expressway South Clockwise
-Drove my Toyota Sprinter Trueno around Tokyo Expressway South Clockwise
-Bought the Maserati Merak from the legends dealer and drove it around Kyoto
-Drove my Ferrari 458, EK Civic Type R and FL5 Civic Type R around Kyoto

A very Japanese day after the full reveal of Forza Horizon 6.

Ran GT SOPHY as usual in Super Touring mode. The more I run SOPHY seems like it gets quicker every time, seeing SOPHY’s taillights more and more. Maybe my reflexes ain’t like they used to be. Yeesh.

Did my usual daily, but scored a Honda Civic Type R Limited Edition off a 3 STAR TICKET !!... ha ha

Watching the MX 5 cup races at Daytona inspired me, so I bought a Mazda Roadster touring car and did the 787 B swap. I found a Lightning McQueen livery but not a Chick Hicks one... but I did find one for a Mazda Spirit Roadster 12R - so I bought that. However that comes with the RX 7 swap instead ( really ? ) ..

you can make one Cars movie Livery but you cant make a different one ? I give up.

Yesterday: A little nostalgia in the weeklies, with Bob Jane's pseudo-Holden at Bathurst, and the S Barker Tourer being perfect at Brands Hatch.

The Barker is an easy win since the nose of the car crosses the finish line while the driver is still negotiating Clark Curve.

I tried the Honda Civic race at Suzuka (orange branch of the Power Pack), and after a bad start I just dropped it because the car is terrible.

So, I went online for the time trial at Daytona with a Gr.1 car. I was terrible, but the car (Jaguar XJR-9) was not, and good enough for a bronze time.

And 10,000 crummy cr. for the daily roulette ticket.

I was just staring at that Chevelle pic for the past minute. That’s dope!
The livery is not my work. There's a bunch of people who share Australian driver liveries. (Many of them tune to 2UW no doubt.)

It was fun getting to finely position the "Holden" to line up with Brocky's name. Two Bathurst Greats in one frame!

(Bob won the Armstrong 500 in 4 consecutive years, the final two at Bathurst when it moved there.)

Two surprises today in the Le Sarthe WTC700 on a wet track

Managed to survive fierce competition from IM-equipped cars while wearing RH tyres in an FR car. Final lap was very exciting.

Also another fake Holden delivered the goods

-Bought the Silvia S14 Aero, Evo 5 and Subaru Impreza WRX Coupe from the used car dealer and drove them around Tokyo Expressway East Clockwise
-Drove my tuned Audi TTS around Tokyo Expressway East Clockwise
-Drove the RAV4 around Suzuka
-Bought the Mazda 6/Atenza XD and drove it around Suzuka

Discovered that the Genesis G70 GR4 is a nice drive, simple cockpit, good view of my legs and rear view camera, and is great in the Le Sarthe WTC700. Handles wet tarmac on RH tyres very well, stable braking in the wet. FM=4 set and forget. Not very fast on the straights but that doesn't seem to matter.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ review

The Power Pack events really appeal. Love the Practice/Qualify/Race dynamic and the grid start.

Today saw a close-fought victory at Big Willow. Squeaked into pole position in Quali, lost the lead on lap 1, then lost 2nd place on the same lap. Later on came back to 2nd then to lead. Lost the lead again, and again regained it, finishing lap 5 with less then 2 seconds to spare. 😮‍💨

This was a fun experience from Practice to completion.

My strength is in handling the long sweeper and getting a great exit onto the final straight. That's my happy place on Big Willow and has been for years. The rest of the track I vary from "ordinary" to "a mess". And to be clear, I chose the easiest setting for these PP events.

A few days back, I set a ten+ minute lap time at the CGV Time Trial in the Mercedes and am ranking 103,902nd place out of 103,904. It's my way of getting an idea of how many people participate in TTs, without scrolling for hours through the results. I hope to make it to Bronze in the next 9 days. I take my hat off to the guy in last place who had the patience to set a 20+ minute lap time.

Tune an Aston Martin Valkyrie to gr1 spec and used it for the gr1 race in the weekly race. Somehow very good on fuel and tire wear.
Also finished the weekly challenge for this week and practice a little at spa for the manufacturer cup.
