Today I’m taking a stock Delta Integrale into the garage to build it for drag racing. I managed an 8 second quarter mile in my R32 GTR a while ago after spending a lot of time tweaking gear ratios, toe, downforce etc. So I’m hoping for good things now I’ve put a Nismo engine into the Integrale 😏

Update: Only managing high 8s. I could do with an extra gear in the box to stay in the powerband. We should really be getting 6 gears if we upgrade to the racing transmission.

In my own GT5 Class homegrown "racing league" builds, I believe I didn't consider them close unless they were within half a second or so, and I hand tuned about 20 cars. You might try that, and don't be afraid to use some power restrictor like the real leagues do to match lap times.

I’m already on it, I guess I try to stay as close to real life as possible but will definitely do that.

I reckon the fully customisable transmissions should let you adjust the number of gears, perhaps between 4 and 7. Obviously some cars would need more gears available, most notably the LC500 :P

On the GTP account, after (not) doing my Bugs Bunny impersonation, I went to Broad Bean and Kyoto to gold the last (pseudo-)ovals I hadn't golded, as well as the longer Kyoto circuit. The 3-star marathon gave the lowest-possible 5,000 Cr.

On the Plus account, I did the Bathurst Sun Also Rises mission, and had to turn on TC1 and ASM as the tires gave up late in the race. Fortunately, U. Morris' tires gave up worse coming down from Brock's Skyline on lap 10 and I regained the lead, holding him off for the win. The 4-star marathon roulette was the small-cash 30,000-Cr. option.

Day 1 of Covid isolation and also the start of external work on my apartment block - already had an object hit my window, so I've taken the precaution of moving my TV and PS4. And I've already invented a new game - Gran Tennismo.

In other news, I did the WTC 800 at Sardegna for the first time - don't like the track much, and could only manage 2nd place.

I took out the Escudo and started working on a livery. Right now it is carbon black but I have added any decals to because I don't know what I want it to look like. After that I took it out the Glen did some hot laps with it. Great car I bought the customizable transmission and changed the gear settings and the turbo lag was awful. So I went back to the default settings and it an much better. I took my 694 pp MR@ to the glen as well and some tuning to get it running a little bit better. Got a 3 star ticket and won .... a Telsa. I hope to get on tonight and try to use the ticket exploit

Must say, some of your license times are insane mate. Fair play 👍
To my apologies I have to admit that on some of them I was really sweating it.
Actually way more than I usually do 😅

Recreated the Tokyo Expressway Gr 3 Enduro from Sport and made it an All-Night tribute. The Lexus VGT is probably my favorite car to use in Gr 3, stable and fuel efficient. It does lack speed when against the RX-Vision, but I had a two lap advantage on pitting.

Got 500k from a 4 Star, I feel that longer events should give you higher quality tickets.

Got my TH8A shifter mounted and gave it a play. Absolute blast that thing is. Had no idea GT7 had stalling in the game. If you come to a standstill without pushing the clutch in it kills the engine. The game just immediately recognises the shifter too and it works perfectly. Makes driving old cars way more immersive

Only did Sardegna with the Sauber Mercedes for the workout ticket. Gor a 6 star.... For a carbon prop shaft for a Nissan Z..... Underwhelmed......
Do a few more races and you will learn it and love it. Change it up with different cars

I was away for the weekend so pretty much did what everyone else has been doing for the past few days. After opening a sufficient amount of 4 star tickets I think the main takeaway for me from this is to just pretend the daily marathon feature doesn't exist anymore. Doesn't mean that I'll necessarily play less but completing the daily just doesn't come into consideration after witnessing firsthand what theoretically could've been the rewards for completing the marathon every day for the rest of the calendar year.

Also the 787b engine on the RX 7 is absolutely nuts.

Oh yeh, what a productive day on GT7 today, as I watched SUPERGT start his livestream at 8pm British time, I thought why dont I go into the daily races and see which one he does and see if i get in and have good race. He went and chose the Watkins Glens race C and I did the same, wanted to try it with the Scooby BRZ GR3 car and did some hot laps before I realised I dont have PS plus to play multiplayer, haha Fail...!

Then I thought oh well, continued watching his stream, while moving onto the Escudo Time trial which he hasnt done yet (SUPERGT).

I managed after chasing some top tier ghosts went down from a slow 1.47 to a pretty decent 1.43 with some hardcore chasing the ghost driving skills.

So far, so good and got a bronzey medal that I can claim once the event ends. But I will keep chugging and hope to get higher in the rankings board worldwide.

Also after seeing Goodwood we need the hillclimb back in GT7 hehe.

My work week ended with a couple really long work days so I needed to wrap up my week of immersion with Ford Automobiles on the weekend. With Pikes Peak and FOS this weekend, I didn't get as much gaming in as I would have liked.

Saturday I cleaned up my driving and easily won the Sardegna 800pp race in my supercharged Mustang Gr3. I then used the N/A car and finished second. I don't think it can handle the Viper's speed so maybe second is the best it can do. Raced both at Watkins Glen with mixed results, (Wins and Top 5) It's a great track that I need to drive more so I can get the flow figured out. I tried the GR5 Focus at Le Mans and finished last, however I built an RS Focus to Gr4 spec and won.

Finally I built up the Wicked Fab GT 51 as it is essentially a Ford, and raced a couple events with it. It's pretty quick and handles ok. I also drove the new 32 Ford and built a custom version for some scapes photos. I also did some grinding in the Escudo and it's pretty cool.

So that wraps up the Ford week and now I get to pick a new manufacturer. I need to think on that so I will reveal it tomorrow when I post my results from tonight's session.

I started work on a black/carbon Alfa. I found it looks good if you use the decals (or similar decals) that were on it normally, except made white.

I use different cars each time, on different tracks to get the daily workout ticket. It was the prize of a prop shaft from a 6 star ticket that was underwhelming

This afternoon I finished tuning my GT4 Mustang GT and even though it's now half a second behind the others, still has a tendency to kick out it's rear end. Put it on hold and grabbed a GT350R and started turning it into my last american GT4 car, and what an amazing car it became!! Planted, feels overpowered (it's sitting at 399hp), and it eats corners for breakfast! Initial test run at 655PP in Watkins Glen resulted in a 1:56 lap, and it was just a test run! Also, it looks so badass! Also, went for a quick trip to the cafe just for a quick cup of espresso, double shot and out. Will continue tuning the GT350R and once finished dressing it with my livery.
