Had some time today to fire up GT7 and have some fun.
Bought the F40 because
of course, and another 930 Porsche to have a stock one and one to RWB. People talk about cars being hard to drive in game, like most Ferraris, the Carrera GT and some other wild ones, but a modified 930 Porsche
has to be the most difficult to tame. It hammers in the Porsche motto of "lift-off-oversteer" into your head harder than anything I've driven in any game. It does not allow for you entirely lifting off throttle without killing you dead. Once my brain wrapped around it it's quick, but man, is it a punishing lesson to learn, and very counterintuitive even by rear engine standards. As always, hard to drive cars are
very fun to master.
Set up some custom races choosing garage cars, and while they are "faster" if you choose them that way, the AI still just gives up by the halfway point. Very frustrating when all many of us want is consistent and challenging AI. Makes for good pics though, and surely better competition than letting the game choose random cars.
I did one RWB in the style I wanted, then another widebody that a friend wanted me to re-create, and took my old RX7 that I haven't driven in a long time out to hoon around in some races.

Another fun day with GT7, and I earned no money and accomplished nothing!
