Got all Golds on the Master licenses. Yay, I guess.

Put together this mock Boss 302 last night (detuned, correct gear ratios, etc.) I really like it. I wish the actual Boss 302 was in the game. In the process of this, I realized I only had two Boss 429s and one '66 GT350 in my inventory. I need to buy some more when they come up.

Ist this thread guess the track now? 😂 🫣😉

My money is in Autopolis but I am really not sure.

Congratulations on most of them done. I actually enjoy circuit experiences. Looking forward to those of the new tracks.

Can you please send me copy of setup on this beautiful car? Always wished that PD included the 289 Cobras in collection, always loved the original underpowered cars...

I wholeheartedly agree. While having the top spec of a vehicles range is neat, I've always wanted some more "basic" trims of some vehicles.

Of course these would likely fall foul of peoples disdain for duplicate vehicles, but to me, I'd consider a Boss 302 and Boss 429 different cars.

Of course considering it takes about 9 months from start to finish, focusing on these variants is a bit of a waste of resources, but a few variant cars with more major differences (AWD vs FWD/RWD, V6 vs V8 etc.) would be fun to play with.

Aww, I just shut down for night and saw your msg. I'll try and send it tomorrow morning but there isn't much to it. The livery was one I found in the showcase.

Also put together this Challenger T/A. Again, a livery done by someone else, but I tried to tweak it. I'm not entirely happy about the lack of sharpness on the strip graphics. And sucks that you can't remove the badges on this car. I think someone could do this better. I've been having a lot of fun the last couple days messing with some of the old cars, basically leaving them stock but lowering slightly and returning the other settings back to default. Maybe a minor tweak here and there depending on how they drive.

It's got me appreciating Comfort tires for the first time. Maybe because I haven't driven much of this old stuff stock since the beginning of the game and they've done a couple tire and physics tweaks since launch. A lot of fun. Also noticing and appreciating that the force feedback is better than I give it credit for. It's actually pretty good and I'm starting to think it's more that highly modified street cars or Gr.3/4 cars just have no feeling. Very easy to drive but a tad boring. I will continue to pay more attention to it and see.

Finally, somewhat inline with that stuff, I messed around with the C8 Stingray after Savagegeese's latest video. I'm not really a fan of the C8 but I thought their car looked pretty mean so wanted to try and make something similar. Slight suspension tweaks but left the stock Sport Hards on.. Car was a hoot! Got these big, beautiful almost neutral slides on Spa. Half countersteer and then carefully hovering around half throttle. Good fun.

Sorry if the camera pictures of the TV bother people. It's easier for me to quick share them (I just take them to show my friend on Discord and you guys are an afterthougth lol) and I actually think they look better this way. Since taking shots in the game with HDR on screws up the image. These look much more like what my eye sees this way.

Sorry, it was the Suzuka McLaren test (the final one!)

The pictures look great, don't worry over them. Always loved the older cars (ones I grew up with) and I get the biggest giggle when im in the superbird and in cockpit view, driver somehow shifts when the car they scanned for GT7 is an automatic with a column shift...

I bought myself a DualSense Edge in the sales.

Have been trying to get used to shifting with the paddles rather than X/Square, but my left hand does not yet have the muscle memory to remember it's now in charge of downshifting as well as braking, so many trips to Red Bull Ring's turn 3/4 runoffs were had while clearing the weekly there.

Definitely need to get that sorted before the Power Pack, I think!

I finished the weekly and did a one make Porsche 911 RSR race with Sophy around dragon trail 10 laps was fun . 🤩 the emojis still get me 😂 🙈 . Looking forward to update soon

I was doing historic 580pp races, I tuned Porsche 930 .. it's nice car but my tune was off so I just finished it with Ferrari Daytona, much nicer and immersive car obviously.. got 5k from 3* spin

There's often discussion about the Miatas. Are there too much? Did we really need the 12R?

So today I drove all Miatas (except the Touring Car) around N24 to see and feel how different they are.
All cars were completely stock except for tires. Since I didn't want to cripple the 12R, I gave all cars SH tires.

1000025693.webp

The '89 and the '15 are not that different. Of course the latter one is much newer and more refined, but both suffer from a much too soft and comfortable suspension. Combined with the rather low power, both cars are not really much fun to drive on a track like this.
In my test the '15 was 11 seconds faster.

The '22 NA has the same power and even a bit more weight than the '15, but it's stiffer and therefore better to drive. It was 5 seconds faster than the '15.

And last but not least the 12R. This is like the NA on steroids. I wouldn't say it's even stiffer than the '22 but it still feels good. And being significantly more powerful makes this a car that is indeed fun to throw around on Nordschleife.
The 12R was 33 seconds faster than the NA.

So yeah, I think we really have a fine selection of Miatas here. And if you want even more power there's the Touring Car also.
