-Bought the Toyota FT-1 and drove it around Bathurst
-Bought the 370Z and drove it around Laguna Seca
-Bought the Clio V6 and drove it around Tokyo Expressway South Anti-Clockwise
-Bought the TS050 and drove it around Tokyo Expressway South Anti-Clockwise
-Drove my Amuse NISMO 380RS around Yas Marina and discovered it's fantastic engine sound

I bought the beautifull Ferrari 330 P4!!!

It fits better in custom Le Mans Classic races than a lonely F1 machine from 50's...

I sold Mercedes W196R for funding my Ferrari 330 P4 purchase...

Done some laps in TT in Autopolis. I am in silver teritory fo now...

I got a 4 star with reward a.... part..... WHAT A WASTE!!!!

Knocked out the Weeklys

Bought an Alpine A110 from the Used Car Dealership. Finally found another use for one of my 25 SR - 20 engine swaps.

Bought another Mercedes Benz CLK from the Legends Dealer.

I did two of the weekly challenges, the time trial (just silver, meh) and the Japanese 450 pp, I still need to do some mileage for the daily ticket.

So, I went back to complete the daily mileage and try something at the Tokyo Expressway WTC 600, and I have no idea how, I built/tune a Ford Mustang Boss 429 with 625 hp (high rpm supercharger and other bits) AND sports medium tires, full aero, adjustable suspension (non-racing) and racing brakes AND a 2-stage weight reduction that is still way under the 600 PP limit (582 something actually) and left R. Kokubun behind by 9 seconds! Now I'm afraid PD finds out and nerfs it! :scared:

Easy money and a 4-star roulette parts ticket (bleh).

I bought the 8C 2900b Touring Berlinetta, so that's one more 20M Cr. car in the collection

-

I also golded the TT at Autopolis - by 0.010s... I then watched @Metalgear9493's replay to check my gearing and I'm glad to report that I am doing the lap exactly the same as holl01 - just 3.5 seconds slower 😅

edit: So after another 45 minutes, I managed to get another 0.110 off, so I'm now inside gold by 0.123s - probably not enough for gold eventually, but I can't see where I am likely to improve.

I completed 100% on the Event Directory, albeit having to switch to Easy difficulty for the last two Gr.3 Cup races - those are pretty tough, but I reckon I can win on Normal difficulty, but Hard is a stretch!

-

I also bought 4 more cars to take my collection to 500, and my Collector's Points to over 600,000.

-

I also completed the Menu books by buying the Hyundai N VGT today, after buying the 20M Alfa Touring Berlinetta yesterday.

Here's the 'real thing' at the Nürburgring - hence I had to buy it in this livery.

Just doing old school Gran Turismo stuff. Culled a bit of my garage and purchased a heap of UCD and LCD road cars. Lightly tuned with an Ultra turbo here and one weight removal there. Not purchasing a lot of parts per car.
Slamming cars on their guts, as close as possible to mimic the cars in the first Gran Turismo.

No multiple cars and see where I end up. Mixing cars in Custom Race at various circuits and layouts, as normal track day replays. Enjoying just playing the game.

FINALLY... a hat-trick of long-awaited results.

  1. I won the last Mission at Lago Maggiore for the first time, and now have all golds in the Missions at long last.
  2. I golded the bloody 1st Sector at the Nordschleife Circuit Experience... It's basically taken me an hour of solid concentration and trying everything - but I think I cracked it by switching off TCS and using BB -3; and keeping it in 3rd gear for the corners I'd usually take in 2nd. Keeping wheel spin to an absolute minimum out of Hocheichen is essential but very hard!
  3. I golded the 1 Lap Time Attack at the Nordschleife Circuit Experience as well... banked a good lap, just 0.775 off a gold, and then just kept overdriving it, until after about 7 attempts, I held on to it for a comfortable gold since on my banker lap I screwed up Galgenkopf and the entry to Dottingher Hohe, and almost binned it on the very last corner (done that a few times...!), but I had a tonne of time to spare so took it easy in the last corner and got the gold.

I still need 5 more sectors golded, but I think that's enough for one day!

Didn't realise I had not completed the Red Bull race at Lago. Finished second on the stock RS. Watched the replay to see lead AI on RM.
Raced again. Took the lead on Lap 5 and pulled away.

One more time around LeMans with my CLK
Sardegnia with my Ferrari 296
Bathurst BMW art car at the High Speed Ring for the 20 lap WTC 800 race.

I cleared the last 5 sectors that I needed - not bad for just 61.3 miles driving 😅

The 3 I did last night were MUCH tougher - Sector 1 was by far the hardest, followed by Sector 8 (which is my favourite section of any race track on Earth) and of course the Full Lap, which is easy compared to Sector 1.

5M Cr. for my efforts too, which is very nice indeed 😊 Kind of just wrecked my plans for this evening though... 😅

I don‘t have a lot of time for GT7 atm but tonight I did a 5 lap custom race at the Nordschleife with a 296 GT3 and a 10 lap custom race at Bathurst with the 992 GT3 R. I really appreciate the new GT3 cars and I hope PD will keep them coming!

Parks And Recreation Wow GIF

After a few days of success, I tried my biggest bugbear in the game - the Catalunya Circuit Experience.

I must have tried this a hundred times, but tonight I managed to gold it in just 3 attempts.

I knew things were good when I managed to beat my best ever time by over 0.1s on my second run, and for once I got a lucky break and squeaked in by 0.007s - instead of being over by a fraction... delighted with that!!
