What did you do in GT7 today?

I finished the weekly challenges with 1st place at the WTC800/Sardegna with the Toyota GT One. Hard tires and just one stop and I got the clean race bonus. Still don't like that track very much but at least is not as long as St. Croix. The 3-star ticket got me 100,000 cr and the 6-star car ticket got me the Porsche VGT, nice but meaningless for my collector's level that hit the max 70 level some time ago.

( next morning ) ... you guys are gonna love this one -

Took my new Max Mercedes to the Ring for the WTC 800 race. No problem right ? Everything is going great. P 2 by I get to Dottinger Hohe - and then I completely MISS THE PIT ENTRANCE ( ughhhhhh )

So now Im doing my second lap on about 22 percent fuel.

Trim fuel back to FM 6 - and run out of gas at Sprunghugel. It takes me about three solid minutes to get down Dottinger Hohe and once I finally get to the pits, I'm over two minutes behind the leader.... and for good measure I give myself a 3 second penalty for crossing the pit line too early ( because why not )

I pass Kokubun right before the finish line to salvage a P 19 finish ( because apparently he ran out of gas as well ) ... so yeah, today is gonna be a GREAT day

. oh yeah, and I got Bronze in the Tokyo Expressway lap time challenge.

I did a little test run for a tournament-based series I plan to do via the custom races. It went well, but it's clear that some of the cars I used need better tuning or be replaced outright. This was also where I discovered a baffling, laughable schoolboy error: a tire compound glitch. Every car in the class I tested is meant to use SS tires, but due to a glitch, they just revert back to their standard compound. This means that some cars are utterly incompetent (AE86s, B18-swapped EF, 240ZG) while others steamroll without exception. So, I had to roll with RH tires.

I tried to use my swapped V12 Tuscan at Sardegna 800. I couldn't get the setup correct and I started to get frustrated so I decided to do a Sophy race and got spun out on the 1st lap so I quit and went to my kei car setup and used the Carry. I forgot that I only had 1 swapped Kei car in the race so I ended up in 1st very quickly so I just decided I was done for the day. Got a 3 star ticket for all of my troubles

I did the WTC800 at Sardegna again, this time in the Huracan (sporting my newly made ABT N24 livery) - and won comfortably.

I was on the same strategy as I normally use (RS, 2 stops, switching between FM5 (in and out laps) and FM2 (clear track, hot laps)) and was hitting 1:36s (that's fast for me!!), and won by over 20s.

Damn it - looks like my PS5 controller is broken

Did 2 Sardegna WTC800 races in the Audi DTM and won comfortably (obviously), mostly with 1 hand on the wheel and a beer in the other.
Then I did 2 Sarthe WTC700 races in a Celica, still won comfortably, but needed both hands due to torrential rain in both races. Anyway, farmed up a few nice credits.
Then a few laps Nordschleife to get past midnight and complete the daily marathon. Got a **** reward from it, as always.
after about 3 hours behind the wheel, I had enough for the day and closed the game.

After a long while, a lot of attempts and a bunch of swearing, I finally hit gold in the IA-10 license test. All assists off, manual gearing. I hit ~56.xx so many times that at points I got really frustrated. Decided to try and stay in 4th gear in more corners, dropped to third only once and I improved to 55.8xx. In the end I hit a great run and ripped the gold time to shreds, 55.364😎

But I don't think they want to see me back at Mercedes, I must have wrecked atleast a 1000 AMG's in the process😆

Completed the Weekly Challenges by buying another FTO and tuning it to 237hp with weight reduction and bodykit at Autopolis. Won comfortably on SH tyres. Did Sardegna WTC 800 with the McLaren GTR Longtail. Destroyed the Gr.3 field. Got a duplicate LaFerrari and sold it for 695k plus 727k for the win so pretty happy 😊

Went shopping for the updated new cars!!! Havent touched the Reanult Yuckkk! Wil tune up the lovely Rx7 later! Also noticed the time logs now include car classes like GR.2 & GR.3 etc, not sure if that was there before and im been living under a rock!

-Bought the Camaro Race Mod, painted it, changed the wheels and drove it around Bathurst
-Bought the '91 RX-7, modified it and drove it around Kyoto
-Bought the Captur, painted it, changed the wheels and drove it around Sardegna B
-Did the Sardegna A Reverse time trial with the Subaru Impreza WRX STi

I meant to post this yesterday, but ended up getting lazy, so I'm doing it today.

I got around to driving the Efini FD, and I'm loving it so far. The customization and price are also a nice bonus. Finally, proper Keisuke liveries. I may like it more than the Spirit R. The Spirit R is too damn expensive, both in terms of stock price and fully upgrading it (the damn thing didn't need Stage 5, that should be exclusive to heavy cars that could benefit from it, but that's beside the point).

Decided to test the Efini in my little tournament, and the car slaps.

I created an updated livery for the Winward Racing AMG GT3 that was supposed to be running in the NLS1 race right now, but sadly the race has been cancelled due to wintry conditions :(

The livery is subtly different to the one that was revealed on social media earlier this week for the N24, with Max Verstappen included among the drivers on that one. The main difference (apart from the names) is the different number board on the card, which marks 80 years of the main sponsor, Ravenol.

Something I haven done in a while. Collecting cars from GT1. I know the TVR doesn’t belong, but doesn’t seem right without one.
Painted the A70 Supras in the colors or the 3.0L Limited model.
Added race exhaust, full suspension and RH to give them that slammed look shown in the GT1 intro.

Found out the Captur is actually okay…at least better than most of these crossovers PD decided to add to the game over the last year or so.

Managed to beat AI Gallo’s cheater Alfa in the Euro Clubman 600 race at the Nordschleife. That Alfa is an absolute rocket ship on the Dottinger-Hohe, but the Clio on stilts managed to bludgeon it in the corners and braking zones.

I ran the X2019 at Sardegna and won on hard tires and a tick less downforce, and that got me the daily mileage (3-star ticket, 10,000 cr, meh). I also purchased the Captur.
