i built that and never actually did it 😆
Yeah, i've just got back into GT7, and need some more funds to finance my car buying habit.

Luckily I have most of the most expensive cars from the early days, so I am just building bank to buy whatever pops up in the UCD and legend dealership.

I just buy cars and sell cars. As it stands, I’ve bought 12,647 cars.

Having tons(tonnes?) of fun running legacy GT cars. Just adding racing silencer, RH, slammed suspensions(lowest right height and only adjusting front spring rates to match the rear), slotted rotors(helps SOPHY brake better rather than overrunning corners) and detuning and/or adding weight to match the Gran Turismo 1 spec cars. Makes the cars remind me of the behaviour they look like in those old replays. Body roll, lots of suspension compression, but fast in the corners. :)

It’s addicting.

Ok, I played little bit too much again, I was cleaning out the garage for like 2 hrs and building some cars also cleaning bad livery cars 😆 I'm now at 35 mil crs and next goal is try to get to 100% in directory races, I managed to get to 80% so far.. Turns out I need 8 cars to finish last 20% so I prepared those too

Yesterday I finally found some spare time after the kids decided they stayed up long enough and took some shuteye.

Used that time to do the weekly challenges I had left. Hypercar parade around Interlagos in the Pagani Huayrafor 7 laps. Went on with manual transmission and surprisingly had a clean race with no mistakes. That car was surprisingly managable on MT.

After that, Spa WTC 900. 10 laps, a massive pourdown and a 787B made up for a nice race. Won by 56 seconds though since the AI are clueless when it comes to anticipation on upcoming weather. Me being tired resulted in a bunch of mistakes, but no major crashes. Lost the CRB because of it though.

6 star ticket weekly reward gave me a VGT, which I sold for a handy 700k.

Tried my hand at the Mazda TT around Road Atlanta and after several spins decided that would be that. Still stuck on silver with a 0.2 margin to bronze. Think I need to improve on that to secure silver before it ends.

Did the weekly challenges. Won 500k off my six star ticket.

Currently waiting for the Sauber to show up in Hagerty again. The last two times it appeared has coincided with me being in hospital (albeit with bigger problems to deal with haha) so hopefully third time's a charm.

Sure, but WTC 600 at Tokyo Expressway is a grinder race where the AI cheats: We know R. Kokubun will be the last to pit, and that he will switch to medium racing tires, so his build somehow allows for that while still be under the 600 pp limit. So, I just want a car that will fly through the long straight and gets to at least 10th place in the first lap to keep with the AI's rubberbanding, and lasts the race without refueling or changing tires, and this build accomplished that.
I 'm pretty sure Kokubun's car is above the pp limit after the changes that were made to the pp system. I went as far as copying his custom gearing and testing it, only to find out I barely fitted into 600pp on SH tyres when he runs SS. And does he then change into RM? Hadn't noticed that one, the guy likely jumps up to 700pp or something. This needs to somehow be addressed, since Polyphony is so vocal about fair play.

I finally decided to attempt the 1hr WTC800 race at Spa last night. My stead of choice was one of my Z4 GT3s on the stock power. I made a lot of mistakes, chief of which was starting on Hards. I was losing time to Beauvois every lap until the rain started towards the end of lap 7. The rain came heavy and I ended up losing the Z4 a couple of times trying to get to the pits for Inters. I stayed pretty consistent during the rain storm and came back in for Mediums once the dry line started forming and a lap or so earlier than the AI switched to their slicks. I got to within 6 seconds of Beauvois at one point, where he caught lapped traffic before I did. While trying to pass the same lapped traffic, the Corvette spun me with 7 minutes to go as I lapped him going into Stavelot. The Red Mist descended after that and I started overshooting and losing more ground, which pushed me back to third, where I finished. I ended up stopping 4 times over the race distance. Spa in drying conditions is my worst nightmare. There is no room for error off the dry line. Will have to try again, now that I know.

Claimed 2 mil from Suzuka TT, got 10 k from daily ticket . . It's max I'm getting lately 😆 Scrolled through my garage some more and sold 2-3 VGT cars, changed oil on cars I use most and finished 700 American Clubman cup and GTR Cup, now I'm on 82% of races done. .

Well, I tried to do the Xiaomi SU7 race at Barcelona and I could not get past the 3rd corner... So, I promptly sold it in the used cars dealership. To get my daily mileage, and the credits I won't get for not completing the 5 weekly events, I fitted the Subaru GRX Gr.B road car for the WTC 600 Tokyo Expressway. It came in second, losing to the cheating R. Kokubun in the last hairpin only because I overshot it. With some tweaks I will beat him convincingly. From a 4-star ticket I saved from yesterday I got the Peugeout VGT Gr.3 (nice), and from today's 3-star ticket, the usual crummy 5,000 cr.

Working my way thru the powerpack. It seems the early races are massively unfair/unbalanced but as you work your way through they actually get easier. I did the Monza race in the Porsche today and got 1st after 4 attempts. Did the Grand Valley event in that old car (forgot the name), qualified 2nd and came 1st on my 1st attempt. I think that's the first PP event I've beat in one go. Now I'm working on the Brands Hatch race in another old car which I'm struggling with because I'm not great on that track. The car understeers like crazy under braking so you can't really trailbrake so it takes some getting used to. Managed 3rd for a few laps then binned it.
Sitting at 18 million credits just by doing the PP and the online time trials plus daily marathon.

I haven‘t done a livery for the R8 LMS GT3 in a long time which is a shame since it‘s still one of my favorite GT3 cars. Therefore Team BRM‘s awesome Castrol livery for the 2026 GT World Challenge Australia was a great opportunity to do so.

Shoutout to @daan & @Barney Da Dog for providing me with two missing decals!

Completed all 5 weekly events, just to get it done. Back to grinding cash now cause ive spent 40+ mill credits last few days on a few rare cars. :dopey:

Came 1st on the Powerpack Vette! race and the M4 Nurburgring single lap.
As a side note I really think countersteer assistance should be disabled for online racing. I turned it on to try it with my T300 and it literally makes driving any car a breeze with TC completely off, with no speed penalty at all. Catching oversteer becomes arcade levels of easy. At least with TC you are slightly slower as a compromise but countersteer assistance has no negatives as far as I can tell.

I fired up the wheel to attack the super license S5, Sardegna - Windmills dirt lap in the GR Yaris High Performance '20.

I hated it.

It took me sooo many tries to finally achieve a time of 1:26.701. That really put me off to be so damn close and not make it into gold territory...
But, I ain't no quitter and I'm gonna have to gold it sooner or later so I got back in the seat and teared it up a bit more and after chasing my ghost for way to long I finally finished in 1:26:689! Golden😎

Next up: S6, Trial Mountain in the Ford Shelby GT350R '16... what an unstable boat...

Off the pace by ~0.6 seconds, but making progress. Hopefully I can get some time in tonight or tomorrow to take another gold medal there..

Drove the GV daily race twice. Ended up 14th and dead last after being sideswiped multiple times. Next race started and finished on P2. Overall nice race, but not quite clicking for me, might try another car than the Alfa.

I revisited the Gr.3 Nurburgring race in the Power Pack (2 Laps), this time in the 1 chilli car (the Merc-AMG GT3) and had a really great race.

I took pole by 0.8s after stuffing up the last corner, and then Serrano's 296 GT3 immediately took the lead, only to go too hot into the Veedol chicane and hand the lead back to me. He was much quicker on the straights and pulled off a great pass coming up out of Fuchsrohe and into Adenauer Forst, only to then go too hot into Wehrseifen and I got passed him again. Crucially, I stayed infront until Hohe Acht, and then I managed to stretch my legs a bit into my favourite section, ending up 2.7s ahead at the top of Dottinger Hohe, and still about 1.5s ahead as I started Lap 2. From then on, I stayed comfortably in the lead and won by about 4.5s in the end.

I doubt I can win in the 2 chilli car (the Audi R8) but it will be fun trying.

I have been playing around with a couple of my GT40s the last few days. The Mk1s especially have been getting my attention. I have one built to the actual 289 road car specs and another Mk1 built to the 1968 Wyer 302ci race car. The 289 car is perfect for the Historic races and the 302 car is perfect for the WTC700 races. I have also started to love Alsace quite a lot. The flow is great and it's perfect for a vintage race.

Gave the super license S6 another go today. Lots of spins and slow laps later I found myself on a hotlap, being way ahead of my usual pace.

Obviously the game said no with a 2:09.513...

Soooo close, making progress especially at the first few corners now. Sector 1 is really crucial on this one, T1 entry makes or breaks it here and I'm struggling a bit still. Still not sure on what's best for TC/SM settings, now driving with TC on 2 and SM on.

Maybe tomorrow we'll breach into gold territory...
