What do you do when you get bored in GT5 ?

When I'm bored, I go into my garage or UCD and buy a rubbish hatchback or K car. I then fit all the tuning parts and fine tune it until it is a competitive racer. I've made a few good cars so far.

For some odd reason, the Nissan March cup car isn't half bad.

Slow cars are the best. If GT's car list were made up only of supercars and racecars, I definitely wouldn't be playing this game still.

He's right though. If there's one thing that bugs me, it's grammatical and spelling mistakes.

On topic: I just whip out my copy of Uncharted 3 or do homework or go outside.
 
I usually go for a real drive, IRL. I'll usually spend about 2 hours out there and just chill with the girl and kid.

I'm surprised to see not many people do anything else except video games lol.

Edit, if I'm bored on a game, I turn it off ;)
 
I start playing other games. But I always come back to GT5 eventually. There is something about this game, I can't let it go.

GT5 is like heroin. It's addicting and makes you forget everything about real life. I love it.
 
I'll put battlefield 3 on,but it's over as soon as i'm in a jeep,trying to drift it lol.That's when GT goes back in the PS3.

Grammar and spelling should have been Learned in elementary school. There is not any excuse for still doing it in high school. When in doubt Google is a single click away. What really kills me is that there are people with college degree's making the same mistakes. This statement was made so it is not directed at specifically high school students who still can't spell and use proper grammar.

It's kinda funny that you just made a grammatical error ("Learned" isn't capitalized) when you attempted to correct ME on proper grammar.

Sir, you have failed. Please, comment on the TOPIC of the thread instead of attempting to fix grammatical errors that you have missed as just as bad as I have.
 
How about we stop talking about grammar. We are human. We make mistakes. Now let's please be civilized GTPers and talk about the original topic of what we do when we are bored on GT5

...what do you do?

My favorite is to put dirt tires on my Fiat 500 and take it for an offline race on Eiger Nordwand (The G trail I think). The cars get stuck on this hill and sometimes flip over XD

Good Point, how could you ever get bored of racing cars at breakneck speeds in your own home!! When are scientists going to look into why we have to sleep, this time could be used to race more cars at breakneck speeds in your own home :)

Luigi Chinetti ran 23 hours, 40 minutes at Le Mans when he won. Clearly, we don't "need" sleep, lol.
 
Depending who's up I'll go for a drive (usually take a detour to McDonalds :lol:) or do some work on web development :)

If I may..., I have a suggestion for something for when you're bored: learn English. "Huh?" Ah..., you don't follow. What you're needing is what I just used just now: "you're". It's a contraction of "you are", and is totally unrelated to "your", which involves ownership of something. "So what's the big deal?" If we don't play Grammar Nazi at least a little bit, people are going to end up so collectively dumbed-down that language will be almost lost. All the words, arrangement thereof, and spelling thereof have rules and purpose behind them, and these rules enable ideas to be adequately communicated from one person to another because we're speaking the same language, but when you don't understand how that language works then you start losing your message and communication breaks down. You can mash your face against the keyboard but we won't know what you're trying to say. To get your message across, you need to speak a common language, which has rules to make it work as intended.

But I digress....

I am in middle school, so I will still make grammatical errors, but please, I made this thread for the question of what to do when your bored on GT, not for an entire paragraph lecturing me about grammar. Yes, you did say what you like to do, but ninety percent of that statement was about my grammar. So please sir, if you have nothing nice to say, don't say it.

I did that to emphasize learned. I should have just used bold in the font. So I agree let's (let us) drop the grammar thing and get back on topic of the OP.
 
I'm enjoying GT5 a lot more again. Want to know how and why? I sold the majority of my standard cars that I don't really drive much. Then I fix up and recolour the rest I have that suits them.

You guys should try that sometime. Makes your garage look perfect with all those colourful cars. I have like 647 cars in my garage by the way. ;)

5.Older GT variations (My favourite is GT3)
