Ninja Gaiden is the toughest game ever. Forza is pretty frustrating too. The AI is always right on my ass. They tap you, and it's over.

I got it and beat it with the 2 guys, but not the chick..
I didn't have the patience to did it again...
I mean...
I nuked korea, and saved korea....All in one game..
Oh yeah.

I have to say the Matrix. It Had so many glitches. Stuntman because they basicly redid driver 2 ,and some stunts just makes you want to snap the disc. Also I no a big fan of Midnight club. because of the glitches.
I'm surrprised none of you said Auto Mondallista!? I love that game but not my friends.I wonder why.

Contra: Shattered Soldier for the PS2. I rented it with a friend one weekend, and although it was kind of fun screaming at the TV the first 20-30 times we died, it got very frustating. After about an hour or so, we turned and didn't play it again. It was a week long rental too. :dopey:

I forgot about stuntman..

Stuntman was a pain in the ass because 99% of it was memory...
They didn't call the stunts out untill you were like 3 feet from where you had to be.

ANK
Penance was a tough tough one to beat. How long did it take you to kill him?
It took me about 2 hours.

I havent yet, im stuck at the omega weapon :scared:

Im looking forward to penance though

Anything that doesn't keep my interest... I guess NFS:U and SRS could be a recent example.

Was true I guess... I'd have to say All games now, well except for GT as long as it's not a stick. :dopey:

(I can drive a manual in real life thanks)

Midnight Club 3: Dub Edition. Even though I have it for the box, I don't think I've ever been that pissed off playing a game before.

How Can You Diss MC3DE? I think Thst game was atleast pretty good what I don't like is those Nascar games I just can't go in a circle all the time with even horsepowered cars.

WTF are you saying? Midnight Club is a great game it just pisses me off.

Midnight Club 3 for PS2, i always lose because of some stupid traffic and weirdly-placed checkpoints that are easy to miss. But i still finished the game.

On PS2, i'd say Midnight Club 2 (haven't played MC:3) Those races were so frustrating, when you made a one small mistake, and the race was over  Some Playstation Magazine titled it as the most hardest game for PS2 back then.

For PC, i shall announce Battlefield vietnam and BF2... The decreased accuracy of weapons in BF2 and a very stupid smacktard community makes it really really frustrating.

On occasion the recent Mortal Kombat games can be frustrating, especially when you're going through Konquest mode and you have to do some insane combos branching 3 different fighting styles. Those really piss me off something rotten!

Has no one played the original Metal Gear?

Ooh that took me a long time!

The Pro evolution soccer games can get frustrating. The refs are so biased against me. I have a player fouled in the opposition box and the ref continues play! Then I try to get the ball back, slide and take the ball cleanly, and the ref says its a foul! Still like the game although.

Yeah, i agree with you on that.

Not quite finished the game yet, dreading having to race all the Exotic races...Some races were so damn fricking annoying! This game was the very first game i **really** had considered actually throwing/breaking the controller!

Strange, i've been playing games for a fair amount of time, and never had this level of frustration! But then, the customisation of cars helps me to calm down...*ooooh, a PINK colour!*;)

Midnight Club 3 is the reason my green Xbox controller is slightly damaged...I got a little pissed and threw it against the ground.

Driver for the PC or PSX (the PSX version is worse though). It's all easy as pie (at least compared to the 2nd one) until you get to the last mission. Then every single AI driver in the game, it seems, has just turned into a sadistic murderer with no self preservation.

Heh, I broke a brake pedal and, later, a square button on Toca World Touring Cars. :dunce:

As for must frustrating, i'd have to say Planetside. It's a fantastic idea, an FPS shooter on a massive scale, but the crappy netcode, lag, plasma spam (think incendary grenades) and numerous bugs can make it infuriating. When it's good, it's fantastic, infact I can think of no other FPS that can match it when it's working, but most of the time you just want to break your screen. I hate the feeling that "I could have killed that guy if my comp hadn't locked up for a couple of seconds" or "WTF? There wasn't a mine there!" Gah!

Ape escape. Most frustrating game EVER. (IMO)

Yeah, but about the only game that ever gave my old dual shock a serious workout. I loved that baby! The sequel fell kinda flat, though.

DQuaN
Has no one played the original Metal Gear?

Ooh that took me a long time!

The first "new" Metal Gear, MGSolid, on the PS1 took me all of nine hours to finish on the first try (nine hours straight after we opened the box). What was frustrating was the torture chamber, where they wouldn't let you save any closer than twenty or thirty minutes before the point where you either "die" permanently or give in. I stared at the screen in disbelief at the first death.

I'm pretty sure FFX was frustrating... I've watched it enough times... but it's not my cup of tea.

______

Simulation Games

Aces (of the Pacific, over Europe) sucked me in. Frustrating as hell to nurse an SBD Devastator halfway home, out of gas, trailing black smoke, strafed by Japanese Zeroes, with a dead tailgunner and no ammunition left in the forward guns... only to crash after two hours of fleeing, too far from the home base to be picked up by rescue teams... and spend the rest of the war as a POW. Agh.

NFSU2 was easy. Not as easy as NFSU, but easy. NFSMW just bored me before I got halfway through.... okay, part boredom, part frustration, but the boredom part was there... a lot of "been there, done that, wish this city was more interesting." (I could cruise for hours in NFSU2, just free roaming)

What was frustrating was NFS Hot Pursuit II... oh the damn stupid gameplay!

Gran Turismo frustrated the hell out of me, because I was the only one who couldn't play it. By GT3, I was kicking everyone else's a$$es at home. Sorry, PD, I've basically made sure that four or five guys will never buy another GT... I've sucked all the fun out of it for them.

NASCAR 97' holds a special place in my heart. Over 100 laps, and I always get banged up by the opposition within five laps.

   👍

I loved Driver. True, the second one was frustrating as hell, and nowhere near as good as the competition in terms of looks and gameplay by the time it came out.

Ninja Gaiden... that game was so hard it was frustrating...

BlazinXtreme
Midnight Club 3 is the reason my green Xbox controller is slightly damaged...I got a little pissed and threw it against the ground.

Man, that's some serious frustration there!

I remember the original Driver for the PS1, at the very last mission where everyone is basically out for your blood....after a few tries, i just gave it up uncompleted, cos it was totally impossible for me to finish it! (then) Also, there was the "Rite of Passage" (sp?). That was hard!

Age Escape was cool when it first came out, however those time attack ones are immensely difficult to get, which i've not completed anyway...i got better things to do unfortunately.....:(

(Original) Rayman for PS1 was nigh on impossible to get anywhere...anyone finished that one?

Madden, on All-Madden, versus the all-falcons, or any other all-something team.
Why do they always intercept/knockdown your passes and your AI doesn't?
Really frustrating.
Drifting in GT4 was frustrating, but now that I'm "good" it's ok.
CS. Got Owned, not because I sucked, but because my PC had a bad framerate, even with the less demanding settings.Stopped after 1 week.
Fire Emblem. Strategy game, if one of your character dies, you'll never see it again. At hard in hector mode(hardest mode), I couldn't even do the 3rd mission of about 25.
*EDIT*
 How could I forget Soul Calibur III? Very^1564674 frustrating. Made me want to break my controllers more than one time. This game is near impossible if you're not a SC addict, I tried and tried with fast character: Didn't work. Powerful Character: Didn't work. Every character: Didn't work.
It's fun though against a friend, at least it's possible.

1. Xenosaga Episode II - Right, I've just completed the first disc which took me the best of 15 hours, about 6 hours of that was clips... :grumpy: I just want to play..

2. Resident Evil Outbreak - WORST SAVE SYSTEM EVER! If you don't have the game here is a quick discription, once you start up a saved game, that save point dissapears! So you have to make it to a next save point without dieing otherwise you have start right back at the beginning. Died on stage 5 out of 6, never played again.

3. Driver 2 - The last mission, enough said.

4. Final Fantasy X-2 - Urgh.. I actually thought it was going to be good.

5. Metal Gear Solid - Same reason as niky, the torture room. Damn that annoyed me.

Stuntman. I gave up so quickly on that game and strolled over to cheatplanet.com :D.

I've rarely broken controllers, but one that did make me completely shatter a $39 Pelican was Spy Hunter when I was younger. You had to act so fast to completely every task it was insane. I just gave up and launched the controller at my wall. I left a 3" hole in the wall and was picking up plastic, rubber and silicone for a week

The game that made me most angry was bloody Dizzy for the C64 !! AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHhhhhhhh, that way egghead !! As for the last few gens I would have to agree on the last mission on Driver, that was utter hell but I did it by just going for it and had a really cool Director video of it, think it's still on one of my old MC's actually. I completed both Driver and D2 but I can't remember what the last mission was for D2, I do remember chasing them damn trucks with the explosives though.

Now that I think about it one other game that really annoyed me was NFS:HP2, that damn helicopter and his neverending supply of barrel bombs, I always hated seeing one of them turn my car into a smoking wreck. :(
