What do you want in the GT6 soundtrack?

I would like to see a new version of light velocity and slipstream, plus some more gt3 and gt4 songs.

They should have moon over the castle as racing bgm.

Also I'd like them to keep some gt5 artists.

I want GT6 to send a nostalgic shiver down my spine, and be a thrilling experience like it used to be!

Remixes of the GT1 menu music. Both American and Japanese versions. Plus the race music from GT1.
 
I wonder why they scrapped all the good music... :( I will cry if gt6 doesn't have any old music
 
Don't know why I post this since PD will not read it, or if they do they'll keep playing beer pong all day anyway, but this is what I want.

Lots and lots of classical music. Why? because it's 100% free and GT5 already has some tunes. If I were them I'd put 100 songs or more since GT5 is/was very far away from using the complete capacity of a bluray disc, and in any case it could be free DLC as well.

Classical as in Mozart or classic gt?
 
I don't care what's on the soundtrack because I'm just gonna cut the music off anyway, like I have in every GT game. I play my iPod on shuffle on my stereo system with the volume set quieter than the GT sound effects.
 
They must keep the opening song '5OUL ON D!SPLAY' Daiki Kasho!! Definitely one of the most exhilarating songs ever!
 
Yup, gotta say Light Velocity is sorely missed in my heart. Would love to hear a sexy remix with some synth and more sax.

Moon Over the Castle or else.

GT6 needs a good array of music from Eurobeat, to DnB, to Dubstep, and Rock/Alternative. I guess pop and hip-hop to an extent, but IMO, they don't quite find a home in racing games, but alas, that's just an opinion

Keep the jazzy menu music and the classical selection (to make a remix like that of GT4's Canon would be amazing), it's very true to the GT feeling.
 
GT6 been confirmed then? As long as custom soundtrack is still an option, that will be my soundtrack. GT4 had the best soundtrack IMO.

I really enjoy the calm menu music they currently have. Some older GT tracks would be nice, as one pointed out moon over the castle.

I really liked Forza 3 menu music, that chill trance. Many times I've just turned it on for background music.
 
Some R&B, how in deep blue ***** can they overlook the genre?? :confused: :(.

Custom Soundtrack FTW anyways...
 
NOt sure but a "Year recorded" feature linked to your current car could be something that I regret typing now.

Jump in a 1996 Skyline GTR R33 Midnight purple with the rouched leather seats - and when you are not racing (Like when you have to fart about and tweak the set up and the like a Random song from 1996 will be playing...

Perhaps this could be scaled to 5 year chunks - But you get in an EType Jag and Wham the Beatles and Madonna play (She was recording stuff back then right?)


Perhaps these Decade tunes can play while you watch a demo of the car / read the blurb for it. - Could even be themed to the country - get a 80's German car and you get Nena and 99 luftballoon... Hmmm gonna get loads of 90's Japanese JPop/JRock then...

Sounds like a great idea. Would be kinda hard to compile such a wide array of songs, but sounds very creative.

On that note, it would be cool to sort the song list by year published though...
 
The music is cool and distinctive to any game in the genre and i like it and should be like it is.
PD has a very good taste in music.
 
IMO the GT4 song list (for race, not menu or slideshow) was a mixup of trashy rock and american music (even though I'm from the States, myself). GT5 was a lot better. Gt6 should be the best.

Same with me, just look at Driver San Francisco's Main Theme song. A remix of Driver 1's theme.

Plus I want half of the song's to be the best songs I've ever hread (Both English and Japanese Songs), and the other half to be written by Daiki Kasho and sung by Jonathan Underdown. Those two did pretty well with songs such as 5oul on D!splay in GT5.

GT5: Prologue and older GT Games had much better soundtrack's then GT5.

But if GT6's soundtrack isn't good enough, then we'll just have to use our Custom Soundtrack the same way we did with GT5.
 
Remember Feeder, bring all of there songs back into one game. Especially Sweet 16, always win races when that is playing.

Amen to that, also if they do this, then would that mean everytime I get in a 350z it will play 'Drum n Bass' really loud for no reason other than annoy everyone else. No seriously, get into a Mustang and it plays 'Born to be wild' that be good.
 
All the menu music from Gran Turismo 5 Prologue. I don't know about GT4 or any games other then GT5 and GT5P because I haven't played them.
 
I rarely have the music on but i listen to my own when I do. We all know they are going to put the same music as always in GT6 anyway, the game is made in Japan so they use japanese music.
