What do you want out of GT6?

Assuming (although it's not the case) that GT6 will be out soon, my top priorities for it at the moment would be:
- Better physics / driving /car system dynamics/ tire model
- Better car specification accuracy
- Better tuning
- Better sounds and more of them (there are not only tires, exhaust and engine that emit sound in a car)
- Better online
- More tuning tools
- More tracks / weather and night/day cycle on most tracks
- More single player events

Would be great, but not top priority:
- Free roaming in a whole fictional Tokyo-based "Special Stage" city
- Graphical upgrades (and wheels, etc.) to existing Standard cars
- More racing modifications
- Course maker improvements
- Upload photos to USB o email address directly from GT5

What I personally don't care about:
- More cars (and in particular, more supercars and racecars. Enough of them!)
- More photo travel locations or enhanced photo mode
- Better graphics
- Enhanced B-Spec
 
I wouldn't mind a Yenko Camaro, and a TRUE drag strip complete with bracket and head to head racing.
 
One feature I liked about gt4 was that you can go between a spec and b spec in the middle of a race. I want to see a very realistic mode in endurance events. These changes include:a) Multi class racing (ex. GT car reward and lmp reward along with overall) b) timed driver switchout c) normally cosmetic body damage effects interaction with air and internal damage is very realistic d) if damaged enough, a tow truck will come and a caution will start (yellow flag) if the obstructions are severe enough, the race will stop (red flag) if you run out of gas, well you're out of gas and you can't keep going. Pit penalties can occur, all of this applies to AI. There will bea special prize for winning in realistic mode. When driving, cockpit only (unless not possible, which means hood view) most assists are off
Endurance races include:
Le mans classic 24 (before 2000 only) will be on a pre '68 version of LeSarthe
24 of Daytona
12 of Sebring
Petit lemans (10h at road Atlanta)
NASCAR 500 mi races
Series of open wheel long GP races (Indy 500, Italian GP, Silverstone GP ect.)

My biggest wish for GT6 would be a more expansive Multiplayer Mode. A possiblity to have ingame tables for yourself and friends, a league system both public and private. I wont realy mention a better match making system - the current one is a joke.

My second biggest wish would be for the single player experience. There should be some type of involving career mode. You would still have an A-Spec mode where you would mostly drive standard street cars but then youd have the career mode where youd start out with a cart or a small cup car and would need to progress to the top racing leagues (the events should put you on an even footing with the AI opponents - no excessive tuning of the cars).

Sorta like you start out with a sporty little car that you enter in some club races on club tracks. Eventually, you get invitations to larger events, which get racing teams to recognize you, allowing you to land a contract, which means that you race in huge events, but only in their cars, their tuning, and get well paid. Eventually, you can start your own team and manage multiple cars. The realism will be incredible(see my earlier reply)
 
Less cars unless it means every single one is visually different with entirely different performance. I want a tuning centre/mode where you can dyno your engine, run 1/4 mile or 1/2 mile drags to see acceleration, slalom to test grip....

I want more events in a-spec with greater variation. Unlimited trades as those who cheat will cheat anyway just let us play the game how we like. A system of selling cars (steal the auction house from forza) amongst player along with tunes.

I'd like b-spec to be gone forever and never come back unless the races don't take so long and bob can actually drive.

I'd like AI improvements so they race like they are suppose to.

I'd like engine swaps...cause its cool.

More racing mods or atleast body kits.

More support for drifters.
 
I'm still waiting for GT5 to be finished... Not sure if I'll even buy GT6, not until the reviews are out.
 
I want a finished, polished product with content that isn't babied and garbage. With seamless progression that rewards a sense of accomplishment. A balanced respect to gaming with reality a top consideration, and a development team that communicates with its genre enthusiasts. Gt5 has turned out to be quite a disappointment, but it still has a chance to turn around.
 
Better physics.
Fixed shadows (GT5 Tsukuba or GT5: Prologue quality).
More tracks (way more..).
All premium cars (and more european cars).
More tuning options (mechanical and visual).
 
There needs to be fewer redundant race cars, there seems to be a million super GT GTR's and nsx's. They say that theres 1000+ cars but half of them are junk. I look at the used car lot for a dtm but there is never one there and yet there's 50 cars that no one will ever buy each time I look. There also needs to be better style customization like in forza.
 
GT6 huh? When will it be released? 2020? earlier? later? who knows.....:odd:

But hell, I don`t want to dream about GT6 already. They should better fix some stuff in GT5. Shadows, tires, STANDARD CARS, tuning options, etc.....

yea i don't dare test my 2cv on the track ( so fast brrrrr) lol.
but more (only) premium cars would top my list, will there be a dlc to make cars premium ???

I'm sure alot of us go to manufactures sites like the audi, bmw, chevrolet etc. We have the options to build new cars on these websites. When we buy cars, this is what i would like to see in GT6:

-Having the ability to pick interior colors for your car.
-Having the ability to pick fabric types options such as leather etc from your manufactures.
-Having the ability to pick different rims from these manufactures.
(Only from car manufactures).

Now the menu's:

-Bigger world map just like GT4 but bigger so you can get lost.
-Way more events for your cars.
-It would be awesome to see SUV's races in the events.
-Have a local station for gas in your car (showing that you have more responsibility for your car).
-I want racing challenges. My dream for GT6 is that I would like to see the Stig challenges.
-Stunt driving missions such as for example: some of us seen some of the leaked footage for GT5 in 2009 which showed us two car's racing against an airplane (That's what it looks like).
-Having a custom garages showing our cars.
-Drag races.
-Many and longer realistic Rally events.
-FIA.

Customization:

-Having the ability to customize every part of your exterior of your car from real tuning shops (showing ride heights , headlights, under car lights also included).
-Having the ability to customize interior for your cars such as custom seatbelts, steering wheels, placing gauges, custom colors etc.
-Nos.
-Livery editor.
-Engine swaps.
-Having roll bar cages.
-Character customization similar to Tourist Trophy.
These can probably replace the racing modifications upgrades.

Licenses:

-Having an instructor on the passenger talking to you.
-How to avoid crashes.
-Rally Licenses, FIA, shouldn't be in the same category.

A.I:

More real car accidents.

Gameplay:

-More animations such as the driver using the emergency brakes.
-Better engine sounds without the cars getting compressed sounding like vacuum cleaners.
-All your cars showing the milage, gas fuels, not just some.
-Cars turning dirty.
-Having pre damage models instead of real time deformation. Broken windows, head lights, better scratches, certain speeds can be a game over similar to Grid, airbags for the stock cars.
-No more standard cars in races (just use those as a bonus feature).

-Day/Night transition on all maps.
-Weather on all maps.

Replays:

Ability to use the rewind, fast forward.
Have all of the camera options from GT4.

All of these may not be in GT6 but this is what Kaz's vision of the future of the gran turismo series should be like (in my opinion).

It doesn't look photorealistic.. It still looks like a game. I don't know, polycount isn't everything. I remember GT3 and 4, they looked pretty amazing to me back then, it's like PS applies some filtering and everything looks more realistic (not just GT, other game too).

Does kinect have force feedback? Just kidding. I can't see my self driving with my hands in the air. But if they can make this lag-free: hats off to Turn 10.
 
It would need to have all of the above to make me buy a PS4 (if its on that platform) or buy GT6 otherwise I'll sell my PS3 and buy an Xbox for Forza 4.

I'm agree to this.
GT5 has been making me impressed, even with its bugs.

All the bad thing I can remember about GT5 when false rumors about release date flying around...it just making people less patient than usual.

And I'm pretty sure that PD won't disappoint me in GT6, but it really should fix the public relationship part, since they don't know what people want these days...
 
None of this standard crap, all premium. Also, no more of these crap cars. I dont care if the insight is part of the real world, I dont want to see hundreds of crappy cars just for boosting car count. Also work on race entries and prize cars... Like I really want to race the z-tuned r34, mines r34, and amuse s2k so I can win a hpa vw. Or racing one makes like the mini to win a mini I just used to race the series!
 
A track EDITOR. Please, that is all I want. I dream of the day I can make a huge hot-wheels track.
 
More unique cars and less variants. There are way too many Miatas and Skylines.

What would this accomplish? I mean, it's not that removing the duplicates would increase the amount of unique cars.

Its called the 'Real Driving Simulator' for a reason and not the 'Real Riding Simulator'
