PS3:
GT6. This is the last game for me on the PS3, and my interest in it is waning very fast. At this point, even getting the track creator may not keep me playing. I believe this may be it for me, the GT series and consoles in general.

PC:
DiRT Rally. Love this game, if you are into rally racing, DiRT has gone back to its original roots and made what I think is a great rally racing game.
War Thunder. Been spending a lot of time (probably to much) on this game. I love flying, and you can get into some good battles on realistic. Tanks are good fun as well, and I'll be returning to those once I finish making my controller for it. I also believe I heard that there is a warships patch in the making as well. It would be cool to see all three running on the same map.
Minecraft: Played with the CrundeeCraft modpack from ATLauncher. I am a tinkerer at heart, and very few games can feed that need as well as a properly modded minecraft server. I also have my own personal servers in house that myself and a bunch of friends play on.

This is to tide me over during the semester. I am not a very responsible person, and lose focus as quick as a squirrel, so I moderate my gaming. Once we get back to summer though, I'll be hoping on the Oculus Rift band wagon and probably sell my soul to Robert Space Industries. Depending on where Star Citizen is at that point of course.

My last ~100 hours of gaming time have been spent on MGS V, but now I'm away from my PC and only have my anaemic laptop to game on, so I guess I'll go back to Machinarium again and see if I can finally finish it. I've reached the point where I usually lose my save due to reinstalling my OS, so... Yeah. The very second thing I bought on Steam was an indie bundle and Machinarium was one of the games in it, so I'm keen to complete it after all these years. For the record, the first thing I bought was The Dig and I finished that a while ago, maybe even within the first month of having a Steam account.

Forza 6. This game absolutely consumed my soul for the weekend. One of the best racing games I have played in my entire life. A massive leap forward for the series and truly set a benchmark for other racing games this gen.
Minecraft
TMCC

Now that GTAV's new update is out, I'll be spending many hours on it's editor.

Currently playing zombies on Call of Duty Black Ops II and loving it! :D I want to play two other games before I get a PS4 in about 2 months, but I doubt I will ever get to them by then and if I do, it will be very short lived. :indiff:

I have mostly been getting Minecraft lately, mostly to test a certain workflow to design schematics. My ultimate goal here is to design my own program to convert color block data into quality representations I can use in designing items from start to finish. I also want to take advantage of as many different block types to build these structures. Since I've been out of the Minecraft loop of late, I learned last night about stuff like Ocean Monuments, the Guardians, and the Elder Guardians. So I have somewhat trying to get back into the Minecraft loop.

PS4: NHL16, PES2016
Xbox One: Forza 6
Wii U: Super Mario Maker

Played these since last week.

To test out the game-playing capabilities of the Google Nexus Player, two games I recently downloaded for it were Sword of Xolan and GT Racing 2: The Real Car Experience.

I beat "Sword of Xolan" last night. It is a very cool action platformer with some rather fun pixel art. It isn't as epic or as engaging as Elliot Quest, but it is a good time killer once you start getting indulged in it. It was the first game I downloaded for the Nexus Player. Since I cleared the main story, all I am basically doing is trying to complete some of the other objectives.

Because I wanted a game to test out the ones that require a gamepad to play, I downloaded "GT Racing 2: The Real Car Experience" for the Nexus Player. In a word, this game is beautiful. The graphics are amazing along with some great-sounding cars. There are at least 80 cars from at least 30 manufacturers in this game. The game plays great nonetheless.

Both are fairly solid games for those bestowed with Android devices to take advantage of. Both of these games require a gamepad to play.

[UPDATE] Because I don't have the Google Nexus Player gamepad, I used my OUYA controller to play these games. I forgot to mention both games require a gamepad to play. So I made the changes to this post.

Outside of Super Mario Maker :D

Puzzle & Dragons Z

Very nice and simple game that feels like a Pokemon game with a Puzzle battle system. Has one of my favourite Soundtracks, the Story is actually pretty well written with actual personalities given to the main Villains henchmen as well as very interesting Dialogue to think about throughout your adventure.

Bosses are some of the best I have ever faced in any game ever. While their moves can leave you going (🤬 unfair) it actually allows the bosses to separate from your average enemy and forces you to use your abilities to your best and cope with all the situations they throw you with. Especially the Fire Skydragon who can cut your HP by 90% as set damage as well as Paralyze Water Type monsters which are its only weakness making sure you don't simply bring an all Water Team (though your friend still 🤬 recommends it :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:)

GT Racing 2: The Real Car Experience is what I've been playing lately on my Google Nexus Player. I had initially played this game using my OUYA controller; but I recenly bought the optional gamepad that goes with the Google Nexus Player, and it plays great with it. Maybe it's my needs or thoughts, but a mobile-type game like "GT Racing 2: The Real Car Experience" is a game best made to be played on a console as opposed to something like on a smartphone or tablet. There's nothing wrong with that.

Anyhow, on to the game. This game is beautiful to look at first and foremost. Vibrant colors and a lot of nicely-detailed cars and tracks make this a joy. Even for a mobile style game, the graphics are impressive. The driving dynamics are quite good along with some rather tough racing. The sounds are great in this game with all of the car. There are a crazy number of races to take part in. This one will keep you busy. It is no casual racing game or no racing game that could be completed in a couple of hours. If you want to complete this game and get everything, you're going to compete in a big number of races with one specific car and then a bunch of extra races to clear races with various cars in specific classes. The currencies of Coins and Cash can be quite confusing. The in-app purchases (IAP) involve getting the Cash kind of like how you could buy loads of Credits in Gran Turismo 6 through the PlayStation Store. The IAPs also include picking up various cars in bundle packs.

So, yeah... this one is going to keep you busy. I'd recommend it based on my experiences so far.

I was playing Call of Duty Black Ops II, but for some strange reason I somehow found myself wanting to play this again:

Been almost 10 years since I played through this so I have a feeling I will enjoy this once again! :)

I finally decided to take the plunge and try out Asphalt Airborne 8. It is my debut to the Asphalt series.

The first thing I can say about this game is that there are a bunch of cars and companies I have never seen or heard of. For example, I've never heard of the Savage Rivale. There is no shortage of diversity among the various cars. Everything from everyday drivers to sports cars to concepts to race cars comprise this game's 107 cars. The variety of cars and manufacturers make even the Gran Turismo series and Forza Motorsport series look silly. Arcade-type racing games usually aren't my forte, so I am sure I probably won't think this game will be real easy for me.

After playing through some of the events, all I can say is that this game is totally insane. The game is like a combination of Burnout and [modern] Need for Speed. It will surely blow your mind. The graphics are very lovely. The action is very intense. I even was going to lose a race before I put a takedown on the leader of one race only a few feet away from the finish line. End result? I won that race! This game is crazy.

My only problem is that twice this game has stalled on my Google Nexus Player in some menus. I am not sure if I want to play this game any further if this persists. I still recommend this game if you are a fan of arcade-type racing games.
