What games are you playing now?

Arc Raiders- man, this has grabbed me hard, it's so much fun in solos or squads, and it's been an awfully long time since a game has had such jeopardy and the potential to induce such anxiety as you fight your way through heavyweight enemies whilst always keeping an eye on whether the human players around you are friendly or not. It's also one of the most beautiful worlds I've seen in a modern shooter- gritty, lived-in and very atmospheric. I was all over BF6 prior to playing Arc, but haven't touched it since doing so.

Also getting some time in on Snowrunner, City Skylines, Farming Sim 25 and of course a daily dose of GT7

I regained my gusto for Horizon Forbidden West after going back to an old save of Horizon Zero Dawn. I restarted Forbidden West focusing only on the main story and side quests directly in the path of the main story, and no distractions.

Been messing around in GT5 a lot lately, namely making some hybrids, fiddling around with the game data, and generally just doing whatever I feel like in the game. Some games I never get tired of, and this is certainly one of them! :D

I am working on Gear Club Unlimited 3 for my Switch 2. I put away my steering wheel to break from the stress from the Mario Kart Grand Prix I had last week. I am playing it with handheld to rest from the TV. I got a margin of progress in the game. And I found interest in iRacing too. But I need a better computer and it has a monthly fee on it. The developers of it is making iRacing Arcade but I don’t know if it will come to Nintendo Switch/Switch 2.

For the last few months i've been grinding Escape from Tarkov, prestiging and doing Terminal endings twice. It might be time for a pause.

Looking to get back into the world of Gran Turismo, both the older GT4-GT6 and the newer GT7. Maybe dabble with some F1 25 aswell.

Starting to dip my toes into Pokémon. My friend is a fan of the games, and she recommended Scarlet for me. Just started the tutorial, picked Fuecoco as my starter and about to make my way to the lighthouse.

I hope your playing on a Switch 2 otherwise there's going to be some places with significant frame rate issues.

Unfortunately, I am playing on my Lite... No way in hell am I spending $700 on a handheld...

I'm about to go down the rabbit hole of Role Playing vehicle games on Roblox after spotting some interesting looking ones on my stepson's Xbox just now.

I had no idea it had flourished into the car space in that way.

Today I purchased Cyberpunk and Spider Man remastered from the Steam Spring sale. I've already finished Cyberpunk in Xbox, but I want to see how my rig runs it. And Spider Man is cheaper here than in the PlayStation storefront, and will likely run and look better than in the PS5 Pro.

Ooh... Cyberpunk runs with high settings, RT, and the bells and whistles that my little Nomad rig can afford... no upgrades necessary for a while!

Still playing Armoured Core 6, albeit not as much as I would like to. About to finish chapter 3 in NG+, love it. Only thing is, having not a lot of time to play, I've stuck with a winning formula for too long so despite the huge number of weapons, builds and the tactics with which to use them, I've been using the same two weapons pretty much since I unlocked them and the tactic is basically to build up stagger with the miniguns while alternating fire with the shotguns, not exactly deep. But it works, so...

gt7 and some crew motorfest (i play crew with my kid) and rarely efootball or ea fc.. but not that much since football games were literally way better 10-15 years ago... even arguably pes was better 20-21 year ago

I dont normally go for platinums but ive ended up just needing the no damage run trophy to get the RE9 platinum after thinking I was done with the game, so im slowly doing a no damage run.

Also picked up GTA 5, havent played it from nearly 10 years and thought it would be a good game to have on the Steam Deck considering how much I've played 4 on it. Pretty incredible this came out on PS3 considering all the little details and QOL improvements it has compared to some games that have released 10 + years after it. Really enjoying it.

Jumped back into Car Mechanic Simulator 2021 through Game Pass. Hadn't picked it up since February 2024, but it's good to play in spells.

Finished AC6 which was just an excellent, excellent game that I miss. Quickly finished Is This Seat Taken? after and have just picked up Yakuza Kiwami 2 again after a long break so I have absolutely no idea what's going on or what the controls are.

I should jump back into CMS. Still working through the Story and slowly building up my not-Pinto. Also should get the DLC Packs to get the official manufacturer cars.

Hope I can finish everything up before '26 comes out on console.

So here is Muppet Racemania:

This was a game I got for my birthday back in 2001, and I played it a lot growing up. However, in my nearly 25 years of owning it, I have mainly just bantered around and done whatever I wanted with it, either in single player or split screen, and used cheat codes so I could have just about everything, and then in recent years, I have done occasional emulation tests with it. I don't think I have ever actually sat down and played the game from start to finish as intended. I think I considered it at one point long ago and even created a save game for it, but I later had it deleted before I could make any meaningful progress.

Well, after nearly 25 years, I think it's time I finally play the game the way it's meant to be played now. Ever since I played Spyro 3 a while back, which was a game I frequently played alongside this one in my youth, it's encouraged me to come back to this one again. I think now I am going to give it a proper go! 😎

Raid Shadow Legends where I got a badge for scoring 500,000 points in CvC the last time so now I'm going for a million this time. Clan lost the last CvC and is heavily losing this one as well. I think I need a specific CvC clan. I've been playing various Pokemon games on my Switch 2 and today Pokemon Champions released so I've been playing that quite a lot today.

The Tomb Raider trilogy remasters are free on ps plus so have been playing the original.

Love the ability to change between new and old graphics at any point including the menus, they have also done a good job with the remastered graphics, having a good time with it.

I can't believe I was able to beat the original game back on the PS1 at such a young age and before you could look up guides in the internet, the game is brutal.

Been playing alot of Gran Turismo 7 [PS5], mostly grinding credits to buy expensive pixels.

Also been doing a little bit of The Division 2 [PC] now and then, trying to grind out some expertise levels.

Finished Kiwami 2 and once again had no idea what to play next, so I tried Journey to the Savage Planet and didn't feel like it was what I wanted so I instead started Mafia Remastered, which seems OK so far. The infamous race mission was easy, maybe my years of sim racing experience have finally paid off! The combat is iffy though and for some reason, despite the game being set in the 30s, I have a Mustang in my garage. I assume it's a bonus thing because I also own Mafia 2 and 3? Apart from the fact that all the button prompts are white rectangles which has made figuring out what the controls are really difficult it runs really well on my Deck, a few hiccups but by and large it looks amazing and runs smoothly enough.

Oh and I tried to pick Destroy All Humans! up again but it kept crashing, I wasn't all that into it when I played it before anyway so I've taken it off my backlog.

Hogwarts Legacy. Got given it for my birthday. Only done the intro and first lessons. Playing around with the graphics settings on PS5 Pro. The frame rate is a bit low on the max fidelity option but the castle looks so nice with the added raytracing.

I've been on Cyberpunk 2077 (PC) for over 22 hours now, female V, Nomad, but the game has been very unstable for some time now, so I uninstalled it and I'll wait for some hotfixes. In its place I'm installing Spider-Man Remastered.

Addenda: I put a couple of hours into Spider-Man, and I think I'm going to like its production values very much. As far as the combat system, at least for now < Arkham games, it just doesn't have that flow.

It's been a long while, but jumped back into LEGO Star Wars. I've been Kyber Brick grinding and slowly unlocking characters.
