From what I heard, MLP was designed to be bearable for parents to watch with their kids. This is just my guess, but MLP was that bearable for adults to watch, that it soon gained a cult following among young adults, aka Bronies.

This is coming from a guy who is diving deeper into the depths of anime geekiness every day...blame Initial D for being my gateway into it.

Where is Asuka when you need her...

Are you a disturbed person or something? :scared:

I think the answer everyone is thinking, even the non-members reading ths site, is a resounding YES!

ParkourVeyron
Ummm, no. Ask any of the anti-bronies, they'll say the same thing.

You do have a deep hatred for those bronies.

I don't really get Anime, yet I don't go BLARGH BLA BLA about it.

True, but I just can't stand bronies, and this is the place to rant about it. And I'm not a disturbed person, if I was I'd say things that would give you nightmares. :p

I can't stand those bronies either. You're not alone.

I disappear for 24 hours and this thread gets invaded by the Anime chaps and the Bronies. That grinds my gears. Where have all the complainers gone?

EDIT: For the record, I'm neither for or against the Bronies and I don't mind a bit of Anime either so no animosity from my part. ;)

Kyle Busch grinds my gears. His cocky attitude and the feeling of need to insert a driver who is doing better than him into the wall.

I didn't watch the truck race today but I'm guessing that's what happened. Regardless he's done before.

That has to be the most unacceptable post in this whole thread.
(Maybe apart from my :whimsiclenonsmilysmilies: )

Seriously, life is of your own doing. If life grinds you gears then it's your fault for not changing your own fortune.

Never mind the fact that your post lacks any explanation as to why life grinds your gears....

You want sympathy? You won't find any here.

Your sincerely.........Mr Grumpy.

 This is funny.

It's like White&Nerdy 2.0.

And out of curiosity, serious question, how long has sexual orientation been defined by the shows you watch? I could've sworn it was based on whether you like c:censored:k or not.

Anyway, on topic:
People who don't understand that the scale in the self checkout line at the grocery store doesn't work when you've got multiple items on it.
"Why did it charge me so much for these apples?"

"Oh, I don't know, maybe because it was confused about why you had 23 :censored:ing pounds(23 pounds because of the turkey resting on the edge of the scale) of them."
I didn't word it that way because I would've been fired, but I wanted to say it.

Blockbuster charging $1.99 for a day with UC3. Just one day, and then you have to return it or renew your rental. So their ingenious plan to stop their already crumbling business was to raise their prices and limit the rental times on the more popular games. Yeah, I get the time limit, it's to make sure the shelves aren't empty as often, but only a single day is ridiculous. The less popular games are $1.99per day for however long you want it, and the garbage is $0.99. I haven't used Blockbuster in years, so I have no idea how long that's been going on, but I just found out about it yesterday.

Blockbuster is still in business? I would have thought that the internet has destroyed the need to rent media......?

I somewhat disagree with this. There are some things you can't help and they aren't your fault. Sure, some things are of your own doing, but not all.

But his post was too vague.

OK, that's true and maybe I was a tad over-reactive.

Many things that people complain about in their lives can be changed yet they complain about them rather than make an effort to change them. Know what I mean?

Yeah, I was surprised too. I went more to see if they were still going than to actually get the game.

Also, there's something that really pissed me off earlier, and I wanted to make a post about it. The fact I can't remember what grinds my gears is grinding my gears.....yeah, that.

I'm currently my main gear grinder. When in class, I usually don't write anything, constantly thinking I will remember it later. Well, tomorrow I got an exam, and I'm not really sure what could I bring to the test that could aid me. Also, the fact that I procrastinate a lot, even when I said that I would stop procrastinating.

Relevant to my problems with school right now. I do most of my homework in school the day it is due. :scared:

What I did grinds my gears. I let something happen that shouldn't have been possible happen, thinking that said thing wouldn't happen. Then it did, and I did nothing about it. I apologize to everyone I let down.

What grinds my gears today? Long tuition... Just imagine a tuition class from 12 noon until 5 in the evening. I'll be left dryyy...

That's better.

People who think I want to talk to them when have headphones (or earbuds) on and I'm staring off into the distance. Why do they think I'm listening to music and still ignoring them?

Take a hint people.

God I hate when people do that. After not responding they just keep trying to get your attention or poking you. People are freaking stupid.

After Dish bought out Blockbuster is when I think it stated happening. I just wish they would go back to the old way of doing things, weekly rentals for two games at $10.00 total. Two games for one week at that price is a steal!

What Grinds my gears? My friend's stupidity. I love them like they're my brothers and all, but they're obviously not to bright. Our bikes going downhill go about 40 mph, so it's fairly dangerous already. We were only going about 35 mph at the time, maybe less. (Hopefully less, I'm not sure my parents would like it for me going that fast, especially without a helmet) So were going down the sidewalk, and I'm coming up on my friend, so he opens a gap up letting me through. Of course, since he thinks it's funny to cut people off (God forbid he ever gets a car :scared: ) he decided to do that to me. Without realizing it, he makes my front tire hit his rear tire, launching me in the air at 30 mph in the air, when I finally hit the ground. Of course, my other friend runs my leg over on accident because he doesn't know about brakes, so now I have a large tire mark on my leg. :ouch: So I limp back to their house. Then starts the caring, we clean up a very very bloody wound, and put some ice on my wrist. I get an X-ray at CareNow, and I find out I've fractured my left wrist, and sprained my right one. Funny thing is, I broke my left wrist five years ago, I guess history likes to repeat itself!
