I know someone who at any given moment probably has thirty internet windows open, ten word docs, five powerpoints, and numerous other programs. he's too lazy to close them so his computer runs really slowly.
 
Stupid carbon monoxide detector going off non stop. It just says error too. Like wtf is that supposed to mean. Am I supposed to run away cause its detecting poison or is it just being dumb. I hate this thing every few months it crus wolf like this.

The PSN store having PS2 classics but not the ones I want. But considering they haven't had them for long on the PSN store, and they still sell PS2's I doubt I'll get the games I want for a while. I want Flatout. 2 (favorite game of all time), Burnout 3, Burnout Revenge, Burnout 2, Cod 3, and some ATV games. I guess it doesn't help that people don't really like racing games as much as I do. I would buy any of the Burnout games I listed or Flatout 2 in a heartbeat If I had the chance.

Actually, do they work on the new PS3's? I know a disc is different that a download but...

I got 28 open right now. Though only one is for gtplanet. I've been researching laptops for my brother so that's why I have so many tabs open. Though thanks to web browsers consuming so much memory I have to resort to a memory reducing plugin for Firefox. I current use MemoryFox and I've holding at 820MB memory used just for the web browser. The Plugin Container(for Memory fox, flash, java, etc...) is at 252MB right now though. I honestly don't remember Firefox taking this much memory before about 4-5 years ago.

Edit: BubbleBelly542, You can if you have the original 60GB and 80GB FATs. If you could play PS2 games on new PS3's you would easily see it featured on the product boxes themselves.

The whole PS2 games on PS3 situation is still the same: you have to get a certain PS3 model to play 'em.

If you could play PS2 discs, the prices would be somewhat close to $600 like I paid for my 60GB FAT PS3. That's after the prices dropped from $700(They took a hit from this since they never made money on the early PS3's).

I had the fat one but it broke. Not sure If it was YLOD didn't know what that was at the time and the thing is in pieces because I was renting a game when it broke and i had to get it out to return it. If it works maybe I can put my Slim hard drive in my old PS3 because I would buy discs for PS2 games again. Most Ps2 games are better than PS3 to me.

I agree. PS2 had/still have some of the greatest games there are, and it was completely backwards compatible (I think) GT4 is my favourite ps2 game along with GTA: San Andreas. I used to have a ton of games for it, but now for the PS3 I have 12, most of which I don't play..

Nope. There's a few fanboys where I work. Only 3 of the 12 'gamers' have PS3's. I pity the Xbox lovers.

Story of my life. I always had playstation systems and some Nintendo one but for some reason all my friends had Xbox. I could care less what system you have but of purse they gotta say o Xbox is so much better it has halo etc. Ya halo was good when it first came out, but it's the same thing. Other than that all the games are the same as playstation and playstation always had the Sony made games like gran turismo that killed any Xbox equivalent. So I see no need for them to try and tell me how much better Xbox is. It's not like I'm going to go spend hundreds of dollars on anew system anyway.

Yep. I admit I used to be that kind of guy when I was younger at school, but realisation suddenly struck upon me. I knew that I was being pathetic. I changed.

Ahhhhhhhhh ya nobody gives racing games a chance (anymore), and that's 75% of my games. I like almost every genre.

If I bring up a racing game in a conversation, it suddenly shifts to shooters within 5 seconds. Literally. :boggled: Definitely a gear grinder right there.

Oh my god my thoughts exactly. I also wanted Burnout 3 and I can't remember the other one I wanted. I think it was Grand Theft Auto San Andreas but I dunno... That's gonna bug me now.
 
Sony is grinding my gears. PSN update 4.00 is on the way and guess what, nothing most people will use (at least for a while). Its just VITA and PS+ crap. It's been so long since they added a cool new feature to the PS3 that doesn't involve extra money in some way.

I guess they never had to add anything for us anyways, but it's rude to tease.
 
What bothers me is not knowing when I'll stop growing. I'm 15, 16 in a few months, only 5'3" and weigh 110lbs. That's about 50kg for you english guys. I'm one of the shortest kids in my grade, and while I am very fit, it is only for my size. In general, I'm weak, and it just annoys me, just like whoever it was on this thread that was talking about being sensitive. I have a view of what a guy should be, and it isn't a scrawny little kid at this age. Just a let down, but hopefully I'm just a late grower.
