My Gear Grinder for today: As I was cycling home from school down of of the backstreets, two idiots also on bikes were going quite slow, so I attempted to overtake them, giving them lots of room, then one of the idiots pulled into the middle of the road when I was only about a couple of feet away from him. I had no time to react, I just went into his back wheel going flying over the handlebars, landing on my wrist that I broke a few months ago, and hurting my knee quite bad. The annoying thing is that the idiot managed to stay upright. Just as well there were no cars behind us.

My Gear Grinder today is getting owned on Black ops online...i'm prestiged and still can't hit the side of a barn :lol:
 
Apple is grinding my gears. My heaphones have broken for the 2nd time in 1.5 years by no fault of my own, and now the app store can't do math I guess. I have $1.04 in my account but I have insufficient funds for a $0.99 app somehow.

Wow I'm 14th highest poster in this thread? That's a shocker.

What grinds my gears is that I got an after school detention for being late to school a few times. Complete 🤬 waste of an hour.

Here at my school, it's 3 lates, 1 hour after school, if you don't turn up to the after school, you get a 1 and a half hour long Friday Detention, If you don't turn up to that you get excluded.

I think it's four at mine but I'm not sure... I was late quite a few times.

I almost forgot, I had an idiot sub in American Lit who let us use our iPods and do whatever we wanted. As I pulled my iPod out and everyone else did, in walks my actual teacher. She wasn't happy but blamed most of it on the substitute.

It's called a tax & you don't have enough to cover it. Per Apple's Terms.

Oh ya. It has been a while since I last bought anything there and the didn't have tax buy they added tax since then. Forgot about that.

So I'm a penny short. Damn.
6% tax would bring me to $1.05

You mean like this? If the purpose of this thread is to solely rant when we're angry, then move on, I would agree. The fact is, there is a little group of regulars in here that will post about gear grinders or agree/disagree with other people's gear grinders. We don't have any other place on GTP to do that. Almost every other forum out there does. So what is wrong with it?

I would like to point that you have posted a similar message to this several times now, but I haven't seen any recent messages along the same lines from a moderator. Is it really bad, that we're just a bunch of complainers and we've found some like minded people? Is it really a bad thing? We follow the aup, we post in one thread in the off topic section. We aren't bothering anyone.

My guess is that the mods haven't really made any effort to warn people in this thread because it's an allowable level of chit chat in an off topic subforum. They've pretty much got their hands full with the GT5 section anyway.

That is nearly exactly what happened to me. My friend cut me off and sent me flying. I broke my wrist though. Not surprising since we were going about 30 MPH too! :scared:
