My gear grinder. I went to pick my sister up from primary school today and I saw 5 year 6 children with Blackberrys! They're 11 FFS. When I was eleven I didn't even have a phone. And they all have iPod touches as well. :boggled:
They must be spoilt, I got a phone when I was 8 and I still have the same one 5 years later.

Everybody has a Blackberry these days, mine ended up in the toilet. Not that I have any friends to contact anyway..

Time goes by... When I was 9, I don't have a laptop and I only had a crappy Philips Twist. Now, my 9 year old sister has a laptop and a good phone. It bugs me too sometimes but that's how it goes.

I reckon it's just because of BBM. There are other phones that do so much more for so much less.

Honestly, I don't understand why they need to have a Blackberry. My dad use it for his office work because his office server supports Blackberry. What I don't understand is for example, my friends. Almost 70% of my friends are using Blackberry! As matty said, maybe because of BBM but I don't find it any more useful when there's Whatsapp available for every phone which can connet you to any phone with the same function as BBM.

I reckon it's for style, but my opinion is that Blackberry has never made a sexy looking phone, neither the name 'Blackberry' caught my eyes. I prefer to have my Nokia N97m and be happy with it because it serves me well and I also have Whatsapp to do the same job as BBM.

Just saying guys, don't get a Blackberry. The company that makes them (Research-In-Motion) is falling like Nortel did. And Nortel went bankrupt.

I wasn't planning to. I was just complaining about them...

I know! All the girls have them, and they are so expensive for what they are...

Same, I got a phone 5 years ago and I still have the same one. I don't use it much so it doesn't matter though. It's annoys me that my brother gets all this free crap from my parents and doesn't appreciate it. He got a 1,000 dollar laptop that my mom replaced with an iPad she got for Christmas and he still acts like an ass to my parents.

Countries? I'm from the US and only businessman have them usually.

Android (<3) and iPhone are dominant here.

I have a cheap phone that my parents want me to use for emergencies. I also have an iPod touch, which I had to sell a ton of my stuff AND shovel snow for all my neighbors.

My 6 year old cousin got an iPod touch because he wanted one

@CARCRASH: Wait till your 16 at least.

You're only saying that because YOU'RE sixteen when you got yours. :p

When you see a naked old man in the window across the street..

Yes, yes. That can be quite the bother can't it. Especially when it's a naked young man running around town and the police can't catch him.

That's because 95% of females in existence want something expensive rather than good quality or practicality. :p

Anyway, gear grinder. The wind we have here is very agitating. It's Summer, we've had lovely sunny days, but you can't do anything because it's so damn windy! It's even worse when it stops for a long time. You decide, oh might go outside now. AND BOOM!!! The wind starts blowing a gale again! I just want to go outside in Summer!

Awwwww poor you. It's summer. Well guess what. It's winter here and it's very cold. Well below freezing.

My GT5 experience today.

Ended up wasting an hour of me hot lapping all by myself online. You wouldn't imagine how up set I am right now.

Something just had to go wrong with every attempt.

It's GT5 online, what were you expecting? :D The room is either empty or full of 12 year olds in X2010/2011.

Skyrim (PS3) is pretty much unplayable to me now. As soon as it first boots up & loads everything, it freezes a minute after. Perhaps it was because I was roaming at the exact some route & that what it made it freeze. I haven't tried other routes yet to see if it isn't widespread. But in addition to that, it freezes at several points: When waiting, when it is loading after a long playing session, & when traveling under great lag. That's to my observations so far. I hope Bethesda releases the patches soon.

I'm in that Auto Redneck club again, the teacher has a bunch of Top Gear videos/episodes on the computer but she keeps playing boring crappy videosof the show "How it's made" so far we've seen Radiators and Spark plugs and now engines, while everyone is talking about Pickup Trucks. Bleh.

And I can't find my phone.

I tried to log into my YouTube account, but my password was wrong apparently. So I tried again, still wrong. I then click to reset password and 15 minutes later my new password is ready. Why are there so many pages and forms to fill out when all I need to do is change a password.

I hate when you have to use some stupid password that has to be ridiculously long, have capitals and numbers, and not be a word from the dictionary...

What grinds my gears is when Sony exchange your console and send you a broken console in November, then exchange again and you wait til the start of January to find out they've sent you the wrong disc, late, and then you have to phone them again to have them start up an investigation even though they have on file what I asked for and what I got (Blops, a game I've not owned for over a year.

I just use my school password. Its got letters and numbers and its over a certain length. A website I found said it would take 16 years for a desktop 'puter to crack.

What grinds my gears? Idiotic, redundant, awfully written, awfully played music which most younger people like over here. If you're from Croatia you'll probably know what I'm talking about. Am I the only one who likes to relax and not to dance on a 🤬 table with music around? Seems so.

What really, really, really, grinds my gears is discovering my newly aquired Alfa romeo 156 SW had next to no oil in it! I think I caught it just in time, but chuff me, another day or 2 of driving would have resulted in engine failure

@madmike: You are lucky you caught that in time. What grinds my gears? I'm constantly hungry. Its a side effect of my ADHD pill, so I've ate a ton of food this Christmas break, and haven't been outside to exercise because of the cold.
