You got that right, we need an off-topic general chatting thread. Where people like me can go, in order to give everyone else some peace.
I agree, I would like a chat thread.

But what if you want to hear from more than one persons opinion? What if you want to share a random story to the community?

I think it would be a great idea. But the mods will say "No" and not tell us why.

You can send a PM to 5 people as a standard user.

There was one before. Aren't we supposed to learn from our mistakes?

Still, I like a public chat. We had one in the past, why not make a new one?

Because it was closed by a mod. And if there's one thing I know about GTPlanet its not to oppose a mod's decision.

 good one. Same with me :sly:

There's no purpose or need for a thread like that. If you want to chat, do PMs, VMs, facebook, twitter or whatever.

Or perhaps the chat link in that tiny yellow box in the upper right?

I just wasted an hour of my life a couple of minutes ago. Me & my sis wanted to go to a performing arts center that my sister's friend invited us to but once we hit the road with my Mom, they were traffic jams everywhere! It was also during the gosh dang night! The jams it felt like it was endless! In the end we had to change plans because we ran out of time, and stopped by a fast food restaurant. But then our orders got mixed up.

I dunno why there's so much traffic during the night. I mean, seriously..

Try doing 2 or 3 hours of practice for a GT5 league race and having it be so chaotic that it ends and points won't be given. :grumpy: IndyCar...

I hate how at school people just walk really slowly while talking to their friends at school. Or they just walk slowly in general holding up the hall or when people aren't looking where they're going and when they bump into you it's your fault. God that just makes me want to freak the 🤬 out on those idiots.

Also my brothers home so I'm not even gonna bother using my wheel, stupid ass always listens to music or something crappy to annoy me yet it doesn't work. It's only annoying because I can't hear the car so I'm kind of shifting from memory which if course isn't very good.

First part... That is such a pain in the butt! Anyone who dawdles pisses me off and I just walk right up to them on the right and stop, and then go and do the same to their left, and then I let a silent one rip as I get around them in an open space. And laugh as I hear them complaining about the smell.

Second part... That's why I race with the music very quietly. And also get annoyed when other people make noise because I shift to engine noise too. 👍

Ha! It's really annoying how crowded the halls are. Also I love trying to shift at the perfect time only by the sound of the engine.

Yes, I like the bronies here in GTP, even though they like a show I don't really like, they know how to keep themselves cool when it isn't MLP discussion time.

But one of my best friends just posts MLP references and reaction images everywhere. It's an eyesore. :yuck:

I hate how I wake up so early. It's 7 am, and it's a weekend!

@ the chat debate, [Premium Advertising] if you got premium there is a chat thread of sorts in the Infield, actually maybe two, just ones more formal.[/Premium Advertising] ;)

Our school is composed of several buildings and a big outdoor area between them, but yet, somehow, during every passing period, I always seem to get stuck behind a big sideways line of cocky seventh grade girls who think they're the stuff. Then, in the parts of the outdoor area that are more narrow, especially by the gym, I'm always faced with a big crowd of kids walking in the opposite direction, all of them refusing to move, and since I have no room to move, I end up bumping shoulders with plenty of people I don't know. So annoying. :scared:

FFS!

Chatting about having a chat thread in a thread titled "What Grinds your Gears?"

Nearly another full page of off topic BS yet again.

Ever wonder why myself, shem, and several others rarely post here anymore? That is why!

For the love of all things holy, please stay on topic!

It's really not that hard.

I think the reason Shem never posts here any more is because he's having too much of a good time :dopey: Anyway, what grinds my gears is not being able to order new earpads from Amazon, and nowhere else having them in stock :ouch:

My entire school's halls are maybe 6 feet wide and when switching blocks it's absolutely ridiculous. I hate it.

Some of us don't like, or fit in The Infield ;)

What Grinds my Gears, waking up in the middle of the day :(

Still teasing myself, looking at cars 4 months before I'm back in the country.

There's a Jaguar X-Type 13 miles from my postcode for just £1,100. But the insurance is close to £7,000. Then there's tax. And an MOT. And petrol. Bah...
