Car fans that call an engine a motor.

Engine - internal combustion engine.
Motor - electric engine.

Motorsports is a kind of an oxymoron to me (especially when people say they don't want electric cars in racing) but that's one I've just got to live with...

Errr, you do know the word motor had been used to describe combustion engines for decades, right?
Anything that converts energy into mechanical force is a motor, right?
You're basically arguing your misunderstanding of the term.

What really grinds my gears is almost every response in this thread. It's just arguing and other stuff which people would argue with me if I mentioned, it's really annoying. Why do I keep coming in here?

What grinds my gears?

Pointless and invalid arguments. They're not necessary and are absolutely ridiculous. All I have to think is, "What are you in? Kindergarten?"

No offence to you Ryou, but I find it amazing that a 14 year old displays more common sense then some adults in this thread. That grinds my gears, sprocket, limited slip differential, all of it.

I was waiting on my clutch disc so I could do my clutch before I ship my car. The disc shipped today and the car ships out Thursday

What grinds my gears? Having to wait ages in a phone shop just to upgrade a contract. Then have to wait for a courier to deliver the phone.

Plus, I rarely ever call motorsports motorsports. Racing is what it generally is so that's what I refer to it as.

Just to throw another spanner in your works:
racing to most people would involves horses, not horsepower.

And what grinds my gears:
The cost of childcare. My daughter will be going to nursery from the week after next, it's going to work out as £9820 a year to send her there. This is about average, evidently.

People who call me Goth Grinds my Gears. This is so common in school. I'm not even Goth, I'm into nothing Goth. Just because I have my hair this way doesn't mean I can't be happy and all, which I mainly try to be now.

This links to kids who will judge you by your looks, you know, the saying, Don't judge a book by it's cover. They think you're ugly and all that, and the thing they don't know is that you can have much in common with them! It makes me wonder what stupidity this is, judging people you don't even know. Some people just need to shut up, and give it a go, you never know what will happen from things like that and all. That's what you can achieve if you don't judge a book by it's cover.

Vanilla Ice Cream Grinds my Gears..

Why the hell do we need it? Tastes of nothing, made purely of cow piss and always melts the quickest. Yesterday I tried Kiwi, Banana and Coffee Ice Cream and you can really feel the difference. All they have at school is Vanilla, as its the cheapest desert you can purchase in a big batch it seems.

This is not mutually exclusive to vanilla ice cream. No food in school, at least in the US, is good. Now if you don't like vanilla from a grocery store, clearly you're buying the wrong brand.

Vanilla tastes pretty good to me, along with cookies n cream, mint choc chip, a few fruit flavours and some mum made that I can't really remember the name of.

Made purely of cow piss? Considering it takes about as much effort to make vanilla as it does alot of other flavours (the ones missing things like choc chips, hokey pokey, what have you) you'd have to categorize all other flavours as being made of cow piss too...

And i say that because whenever michigan wins most state fans go all boo hoo michigan sucks lets go antimichigan and they never even dare to watch a michigan game where as michigan fans watch state games.

Actually there is a reason to double post and that reason is because the ipod has no edit button

Some stupid woman giving my mum the finger. For practically no reason. She overtook a tractor, this woman came round the corner and just as my mum pulled in with plenty of room to spare she flashed her lights and held up her middle finger for the world to see. We were just laughing our heads off at her, but it annoyed me anyway.

It's the same in the UK. I once had meatballs in my school canteen, and I was skeptical about them being real meat...

What grind's my gears is when people quote your post and correct any grammatical errors

I mean, If I want you to be my spellchecker, I'll ask.

Unless you are using text speak and/or have made tons of mistakes then they shouldn't really do that. If the same person keeps doing it report them.
