I think everyone will agree when I say terrorists.

10 Years. We Will NEVER FORGET.

Don't get me wrong but do you remember every single date the USAF bombed civilians by mistake? 9/11 was a tragedy (and I'm involved since my cousin used to work in one of the towers) but please keep in mind that something led to it...terrorism is by no means an answer and it was an horrible act but it's not like it happened out of nowhere. :/

I'm pretty much aware that people will insult me for saying this. Keep it to yourself, I don't care, honestly.

Thank you!! I respect you sir! :)

No. Am I supposed to? 9/11 was no mistake, bit I guess I'm not quite sure what you are trying to say here.

The stupid daily limit. I wanted to trade a dude a 67' birthday ticket for 5 gold and silver chrome and 5 jeff gordan suites. But it says i reached my daily limit, but i never sent anything. Ugh, I feel like a dick that i didnt sent him the ticket. :/

Be more specific.

Too much to list - just try searching for their mistakes and you'll find thousands of incidents. For example. It happened before 9/11 as well.

That's by no means an approval to kill innocent people, too - but well...they didn't just pick the US for no reason, that's what most people don't understand.

That is not the civillian people of the U.S. That is the government or people in the military. Just saying. I'm not here to argue.

So, let's compare the incidents:

Terrorists (=armed forces of an organization) kill US civilians. That's pretty bad, no doubt.

US soldiers (=armed forces of an organization, the US government) kill Iraqi civilians. Pretty bad as well.

Don't get me wrong, I don't support those people in the slightest. Yet, it's not like the US government didn't do a lot to provoke them, too.

Well I like my country, its not perfect but no country is. Other countries have done bad things too. Maybe we all just feel this way because most of us love our own countries so much. Maybe not though.

In case you haven't noticed, but there are still Iraqi citizens dying from roadside bombs(this one was less than a month ago), the people planting the bombs aren't from the US. The terrorists killed thousands of US citizens that day, with exception of flight 93 nobody was trying to kill them during the whole thing(and they were acting in self defense than). Iraq on the other hand is full of people trying to kill our soldiers(whether or not they should be there is a different matter), unfortunately there is going to be some collateral damage and some innocents will get killed. That is nothing new and isn't exclusive to US wars.

What grinds my gears? People that call Americans ignorant yet aren't exactly innocent of it themselves. The human race as a whole is ignorant, it's not exclusive to any nationality.

I was waiting for a wise man to post 👍

I've never said that only Americans cause harm to civilians in the middle east - neither did I say that Americans are ignorant or that others are "better". I've said that the attacks were the result of wrongdoing, on both sides, and that's hardly deniable.

I wish there was an intercom system in my apartment so I could tell the people outside to shut up GLaDOS style.

His own ignorance for not knowing about his own countries history. Does it have to be spelled out or are you that intent on making me look like a bad guy?

Perhaps you should have posted that instead of just "Ignorance...". Or at least answered his follow up post asking what you meant.💡

Does it have to be spelled out or are you that intent on making me look like a bad guy?

All I have done is quote what you've said, I haven't changed your words at all, I haven't taken anything out of context, I simply quoted what was posted. If that makes you look like a bad guy that seems to be more your problem.

If you weren't trying to make me look bad why quote what I've said? There's this thing called reading between the lines you know....

Because I had to answer Mr. S as to what I was talking about when I called the human race ignorant. I wasn't talking about him when I said that and wanted to make sure there was no confusion(see how that works).

There's this thing called reading between the lines you know....

Yes, doesn't change anything here, you said what you said, deal with it.

Yes, those were my exact words, not my exact meaning however (see how that works?).

I'll leave you to your high horse as it seems your trying to dig your way out of this hole you've created, if you'd thought it thru better before posting you'd have not even bothered mentioning my username in that post. Something like "you didn't, I'm just pointing out a fact" would've been much better in the scheme of things.

What grinds my gears? Arguments....

This is the internet, I don't know you, I don't know your post history and I sure as hell can't tell tone. That makes it rather hard to tell any other meaning than what is written. Perhaps next time what you mean is different than what you type you should be more clear.

Seems you're the one in the hole.

You said it, I was referencing you, therefore I used your username.

Something like "you didn't, I'm just pointing out a fact" would've been much better in the scheme of things.

Why? I posted what I meant, I don't like leaving room for misunderstanding, it leads to arguments.

What grinds my gears? Arguments....

Did you really think posting that America had it coming would avoid that?

Think it through next time.

Anyways, this argument is over as you are on my ignore list now.

Okay, lets make it clear, I don't hate America. I dislike their style of government, but I don't hate the country. What Grinds my Gears is that the States were never prepared for an attack of this magnitude. I mean, your fighting a war against another country. If you go in their country and start stuff, they're going to retaliate. 9/11 was a tragic event, but it should not have occured, the USA should've been prepared for a possible attack by the enemy. As many people don't dare to follow the trail of opinion I take, I'm expecting some criticism. Please, criticize the argument, don't criticize me. EDIT: Also, televangelists grind my gears.

..... Grinds my gears?

Lost or feral dogs running on the road at past midnight on a fast A road.... Cue emergency-style stop and swerves to avoid the said stupid, idiotic, dumb, mangy furball. Damn stupid thing kept running TOWARDS the light, not AWAY from the light and a big scary car.

Luckily (for me and the dog) there were no fatal accident for the furball.

Which war?
