So they just gave you a piece of cheese on two buns?, that's too funny.

My cousin said somewhere her friend asked for a spoon and they gave her a pack of peanuts lol

"I want to be single for a while and enjoy time with friends" - In a relationship less than 2 weeks later.

An ex did this to me YEARS ago and it hurts like hell when you find out. Every damn lie you ate during the break up rubbed in your face.

My friend is in that stage currently, its the second time she has gone out with one of my other friends and done this at the end of the relationship. So I'm sat here in the middle, friends with both parties and having to lie to them both, pass messages, give advice to both (which conflicts in almost every case) and basically tip toe through every conversation.

I frickin hate my schools online course class because it wont let me log in! grrr

I hate highly biased people. Moreover, the kind of biased people that think they know you, and therefore feel they can point out you are allied "with the other side".

My highschool. I didn't go to school today because I overslept, my stupid alarm clock didn't go off. I was really late. And if I'm late; They will not let me in. Thats BS.

Give mitch a break he has a disorder of some sort and dosnt try to start fights. You should really learn more about a person before you cuss at them

Erm.... Cuss? when? I don't follow :odd:

We all have disorders of some sort, doesn't mean we cant be civil 👍

My coworkers not doing their work right, me having to pick their work up as they leave for vacation and then being criticised for the stuff they have done wrong. Before I even get a chance to look at the stuff, let alone fix it.

Oh, and I might add: I'm just a trainee, and I'm supposed to fix the stuff of full-blown employees.

I'm not generalising everyone in the UK, I'm sure some had relatives that died that day and I understand it will still be a very sad day for them. However most I know remembering 11/9 don't have a connection to it.
They don't have to have a connection to it. Your country lost 67 people that day which is more than the number you lost on 7/7; they're remembering them. There were ceremonies all over the world because 372 of the people who died were foreigners.

What grinds my gears are posts like these. What makes 9/11 any more special? Because 90 countries (nearly half the number of officially recognized nations in the world) lost a citizen or more that day. The lives lost on 9/11 are 3 times more than the 2nd highest toll of terrorist attacks. Nobody here has said that the innocent lives lost in other terrorist attacks should not be remembered, but in terms of sheer impact, 9/11 was by far the largest.

And those who said it was karma need to keep quiet. That's essentially saying that we deserved it despite it being the fact that the extremists in the middle east believe the western way of life does not fit within their beliefs.

Why did you bring this up again?

The discussion of 9/11 is one thing, but for people in this thread to really ask what makes it anymore special than another terrorist attack does grind my gears. This thread is a borderline off-topic chat thread anyway.

Well a moderator told them to stop and they did, but you insisted to bring it back up.

Please point out the mod post in question bc I'm not seeing a post by any mod saying such things on my phone.

Its not like im raging, im simply pointing something out.

In response to my previous post, i TOTALLY HATE ONLINE COURSES! i forgot about it (since i dont have to be somewhere at a certain time) and i missed 3 quizzes and 2 reading assignments and i didnt get a book. so i dropped it for a full refund thankfully but still..

People who went around around posting Facebook status' about 9/11 yesterday, and demonized anyone who doesn't 'like' it just pissed me off.

And people who only act patriotic when something important is happening, and attack anyone who doesn't do everything in their power to make sure people know that they care. I got 🤬 from someone saying "They were keeping their flag in their front yard all week". My only response was that I have a 50" high quality flag in my front yard on a 30' flagpole all year round, so if they think I'm un-patriotic and disrespectful for not 'liking' their status they can 🤬 off.

[/short-rant]
I underlined the parts that actually annoy me, just to avoid offending anyone. If you like to show a little extra patriotism during something like that, whether it be by Facebook status, drawing, whatever, I'm perfectly OK with that, not everyone has to show patriotism all the time, or at all if they don't want to.

God yes. I don't have to go in that often but I had to take one to get enough courses in and still work enough.

Also spongey facebook can be great. I'm taking with friends who moved half way around the world and my family on there who moved to Australia. I get to see pictures of them too!

What grinds my gears?

People who so desperately want to become mods they attempt to it all the time.

My lazy as heck co-worker who can't but his blackberry down all day long, never seen anybody text that much.

And thats pretty much the only good part.
Why?
1. Games that are barely free
2. The like button
3. People are becoming less social (in real life)
4. Hacking

Yes sir!! I would love to add you as a FB friend! I pretty much super-respect your opinions! :D SO TRUE!! I said Cool story bro on the 9/11 status to troll and people start threatening me.... they should ignore me instead of emotionally abusing me. :)

You didn't mention that I had to save your 🤬 from further abuse, Mr. CoolFiat.

I'm still getting whooped.... seems like there is no way to stop the abuse, neither being nice or mean works.... wtf is up with society/FB???
