No, they gave me toast with no butter, damn cheap ass plane.
Hey, try having a woman spill coffee on your crotch. :grumpy:

Seriously, who orders a damn cup of hot coffee on a trip from 90 degree Florida to 100 degree weather in Texas during a mid-day flight? :ouch:

Caffeine junkies, like myself. I'd probably just order a can of Red Bulld/Rockstar/Monster Energy, though.

Also, on topic:
Sitting at work (which started an hour ago, got another seven to go) with absolutely zilch to do. Nobody's going to assign any tasks to me 'cause I'm going on vacation on Friday anyways... Too bad I got all the stuff done that neeted doing already :indiff:

Luckily, there's GTP to keep me company. Right?

What grinds my gears.......my cooking abilities, or lack of.

On Tuesday I bought a toaster oven so that I could show my wife the joys of grilling/ roasting/ baking. In the same market I bought some chocolate brownie mix which was imported from the U.S. so was expensive but I wanted it anyway.

Last night I mixed up the ingredients completely wrong; too much water, too much oil, not enough egg. To compensate for the excess of water I added some flour which seemed to work. Upon putting it in the oven the whole thing doubled in size and went everywhere and was ruined.

I've now been banned from any form of food cooking in my own kitchen by my wife. The only thing I'm allowed to do is make pizza because I make those well. Very frustrating.

So you're banned from your kitchen? I think a lot of guys would love that.

This guy, currently. I think it's funny how determined he was that he was right, I love it when people do that .

I don't even bother with the GT5 section anymore. It's full of people like that... Still at least they tend to stick to that section.

What Grinds my Gears? Italian TV, speak English!!

You're in Italy.

True that, the hours suck the most....(if you drink lots of coffee you'll get that)
Yeah... Feels like I'm a zombie until I get my first caffeine fix in the morning, too.

And I don't even like the taste of coffee all that much... And I'm still choking the strongest coffee down we have here at work. Black coffee, at that.

Yup. I don't often go in there other than to grab a beer from the fridge, make a brew or drop a dirty plate into the sink. My wife does most all of the cooking now. She loves to cook and I love not to.

Like 4-5 maybe even 6 down and it just starts to take on some sort of fruity flavour for me (depending on the blend in question)...

I'm the same with cigarettes. I get up and the first thing I do is smoke, before then I'm not a pleasant bunny, and if I have nothing to smoke, my gears will start to grind.

Heh, I honestly don't get that... I'm usually drinking the coffee i get for free here at work, which doesn't really taste the best. But you can't argue with a free caffeine fix when you need one

My breakfast, by the way, has been the same for the last few days: A can of Monster Energy or Rockstar followed by at least two or three cups of coffee :indiff:
This is getting out of hand, I think.

Good thing coffee is cheaper and easier to come by, most of the time... Or rather, caffeine is...

Don't forget safer.
Depends... I wouldn't put money on that black acid I'm "enjoying" on a daily basis to be any healthier than a couple smokes...

On the other hand, I've never felt that good about my digestion. A lot of coffee sure works better for that than those probiotic yoghurt thingies that are being advertised on TV so much

I've tried kicking the habit so often but I just can't seem to beat this caffeine addiction, that grinds my gears.

I tried my first coffee the other day, it was from Starbucks.

It tasted like a fried turd! :yuck:

I'm starting to wonder if you've got any tastebuds at all....

I don't drink coffee but I will go through several pots of black/green tea and a few bottles of 7up or Coke in a day. Potential diabetes grinds my gears.

What the?! I'd kill for one, right about now!

Biggest gear grinder is that girls don't dig that habbit of me drinking so much coffee, at all...

Yeah, that, too, but that wasn't what I was getting at
I guess I shouldn't get into any details, though, the AUP wouldn't like that

Another coffee related gear grinder, coffee farts. Their ability to clear a room grinds my gears.

Er...well if it's parked up and you want some space yeah, otherwise dropping a bomb just makes people hate your soul and everything about you

Yeah, that was what I was talking about. The only thing that would work better to clear a crowded bus/train would be to hold up your bag and scream something about Allah or something like that... (Not to be taken serious, of course, I'm just joking).

Either method if done on the move just creates the same result, panic and hatred....lol

What grinds my gears? Terrorists. Except last time I went flying in the US I just wore my jandals, take that effort required to remove shoes to go through the scanning machine!

Having to deal with surgeons on a daily basis. They are, to a man, the most unpleasant human beings I've ever encountered. Sometimes I feel like smacking them on the nose with a rolled up newspaper and shouting "Bad doctor, no!"

This woman was definitely over 60, if anything, late 50's. Last sort of person to strike me as a caffeine junkie. Esp. when the coffee sat there near full a good 20+ minutes when she knocked it over on me & it wasn't all that hot anymore from if she had spilled on me when she just got it (thank goodness!).

WGMG. Not being able to buy the dog that I want because of my local laws, it is making my life far more difficult that it needs to be.

Before, when I was a kid, I used to solve mathematical problems with such ease and efficiency.

Now, I can't. And I'm angry because I can't. :grumpy:
