The poxy thing is busted. No power on, no screen life, no nothing. Just as planned by Apple the sly buggers. They release a new model, my older model becomes useless. Conspiracy!

I'm now sad because I can't call anyone to go out for a beer and all their numbers were on the phone. .

TV3 grinds my gears! This year they aren't showing us the top 10 shootout at Bathurst live! The biggest motorsport event that is shown in NZ. And you're too lazy to show us qualifying and the shootout, the best part where everyone mashes their cars to the absolute limit!

Driving, at the moment. I can't go 50 metres without being cut up, held up by someone in the wrong lane (and subsequently changing or accelerating just as the lights go amber / red...), someone sitting barely an inch of my rear bumper (complaining I'm not going through the car in front, xenon lights on full), mopeds, or people passing on the left. Worst still is when in a lane with traffic, empty lane going right and all the selfish pigs cruising to the front of line and trying to push in at the end. Every. Damn. Time. Why do people let them in front? Trying to get to Brands Hatch yesterday and the slip road off was packed. We've queued for about 20 minutes when some Audi driver cruises along the chevron section and stops at the barrier between slip road and motorway, trying to get into our lane. What makes you so much more important than the rest of us? Get in line and wait.

When people (especially Brits and Canadians, because I've seen it most from them) think ALL Americans are fat, lazy, and stupid. Sure, we have fat lazy and stupid people, but what country doesn't. And sure maybe we have more fat people than other countries (myself included), but its not something we are proud of and it's recognised as a huge problem here.

What grinds my gears is when you're winning a full lobby race online and then some back marker crashes infront of you and you end up with a penalty.

I win. My Nana is American, she is stubborn, sometimes ignorant. My family came from Holland, I think we all know the stereotype associated with that place (explains the large pupils ). Needless to say they are true.

OK, on topic, here's my grinder for today. No 2

Was out in town today with Mrs Shem and decided we'd get a bottle of vodka and have a party on our own, just the two of us.

She necks a few shots, listens to me chat rubbish for a few hours while the bottle gets dryer and then goes to bed! Now I'm on my own on the sofa listening to Wham! and yet again, spending another evening drunk with the pleasant folk of GTP.

Suggestion noted. But my eyes are fine, it's the rest of me that could use assistance.

I don't think V&Cs are really her cup of tea, she'd rather not endure the torture of actually drinking and just go straight to the drunk part. I on the other hand enjoy the journey.

Last night my mates farm got broken into by a bunch of travellers who illegally live in one of their field and stole a quad bike.

In the morning, mate walks past the field and sees the quad bike and he gets told to eff off. Me thinks he's gonna go in with some shotguns next time
