Can someone explain how someone (who knew they had to swipe their interact card on the debit machine) suddenly forgot that they had to (and even how to) swipe their card on the 2nd purchase they made 30 minutes after the first?

You give them a moment and let them recollect their thoughts on how much they spent today. I always had people handing me their card instead of them swiping.

The front end of the Ferrari 458. The rest of the car is gorgeous, but the front opening and headlights ruin it, in my opinion.

I think the headlights are part of the beauty of the car ;)

Have you saw the new topless spyder 458 thing. It's painfully beautiful.

Shame it's 4 mph slower, though.

Some of the people in south Texas. I can't believe how inconsiderate some of the people are down there, much more than the folks in Dallas & I was only down there 1 night for a car show. :ouch:

I've got no smokes, no beer, and Mrs Shem has gone out somewhere. I can't call the shop because they don't speak English and I can't be bothered to speak Chinese. Going out to get smokes and beer means getting dressed and tying my hair up which I can't be bothered to do.

The fact people seem to treat me like some kind of Antichrist when I say I'm not buying MW3.

I've got no problem with the people who play the game. Personally, I hate the repetitiveness. It's just run here, shoot these people over and over in the multilayer mode. Even in objective modes it's mostly run and fire with no need to take cover or have any strategy of any kind other than point and shoot. And I don't like that. I did in COD4, I did in WaW, and by the time I reached first prestige in MW2 it just felt stale, and Black Ops was a grind just for the sake of playing with friends. To me it's not worth the money since I could get the same experience on COD4. Although I did love Spec Ops in MW2 and will probably rent it to play through it in MW3 with a friend before sending it back.

Again, no problem with the people who play the game, if you enjoy the online mode, more power to you. Not saying it's bad, just that it's not for me. And the evil looks and shocked expressions I get from people for not wanting the game is starting to piss me off.

Exactly in the same situation at my school who I play games with. Don't get me wrong, I'd like to play MW3 but really it is repetitive, multiplayer is exactly the same and I wanna play an FPS that requires some minimal strategy.

At least a few of my friends are moving over to BF3 at least.

Kwame Kilpatrick grinds my gears. He screwed Detroit, and I live near there, so I have seen the effects. He owes $800,000 or something to the city, he just moved into a 300,000 mansion, and he can only afford to pay the city back at $160 a month? BS. It will take him 450 years to pay the city back at this rate.

Pizzas. Why are they circular? I know it's traditional and stuff but if they were all squared shaped then we would get more value for money and the pizzas themselves would probably cost less to produce. Everyone wins.

Food suppliers, why?

Sadly, I looked this up:
It is the most convenient method to prepare the pizza crust. Dough preparation would occur nights before it being served and they are usually stored as mounds or balls of dough. Once the dough is prepared and risen properly, it is flattened and the natural shape it takes is more or less, round.

The structure of the week....

When I'm prime minister we will have 10 day weeks. This way I can work my Monday to Friday as normal, work my Saturday as normal AND work there on Sunday as well... Plus 3 days break between (I would just make it weekend part 2, but 9 days in the week wouldn't feel the same as a 10 day week).

I think what I'm getting at is that I wish I could work my weekend job more without compromising the time I do get off or my income from my Monday to Friday....

I think what I'm TRYING to say there is... I need to manage my time better!

You can buy a mansion for $300,000? I paid £250,000 (about $400,000) for my house and it's far from a mansion...

I lived in a house that had someone die in it. Didn't bother me, it was a counsel house, it wasn't mine to sell.

I lived in a house that had someone die in it.

It was only after my wife had moved into her first flat that she was told the previous occupier had died in the bath. Nice.

Surely the law of averages means that sooner or later you'll live somewhere where there's been a death. Especially if you live in an old people's home...

Unless you're in China where 90% of people are living in a house that they are the first to occupy. I may have mentioned before that I lived in several OAP bungalows before I left for China, they were spooky at night.

My gear grinder for the day......I caved in. I bought beer. I'm on my way to getting drunk. I only lasted a week. My life feels so empty with out booze. Now that I'm drinking it, I regret buying it. The worst part is that I've admitted to myself that I'm an alchy, that means from this moment in life on, I will always be one, whether drinking or T-total I will always be an alcoholic. :(

Also, having to travel half way across the city to see a shrink and get pills for depression / anxiety inside the actual nut house. The last thing anyone with an anxiety issue wants to is be surrounded by multiple versions of his or her possible future self making small talk with bed sheets and combing one's hair with a flash light. Honestly, talk about irony.

Hmm... here I would just have to see a doctor, or a shrink in a nice fancy expensive office.

Thing is, I'm the crazy person and I probably earn more money than the psychiatric doctor I saw yesterday. I've got the nice office and he's stuck in the asylum with all the window lickers. Gotta love China for it's mentality.

Hmm... that's different.

What grinds my gears? My anger caused by seeing the people I know who are lazy get everything they want, when I work hard and I get barely anything.

I think I was being generous with the term mansion. At the time of writing I had just waken up.

Getting water in my ear after having a shower. Whatever I do it won't come out and whenever I move it makes an annoying sound. Grrrrrrrr :grumpy:

I had something like that too a few months ago. The water didn't come out until 2 weeks later. :( I'm not lying, it was crazy annoying and torturous.

I've got the worst cold I've ever had... I think the fact that I'm 18 now and apparently a big boy has amplified the effects. I want mummy... Actually, 🤬 that! She's the one that gave me it. :irked:

Having tonsillitis and missing my football (soccer if your American) game, which was a derby match which we needed to win
