Jeremy Clarkson grinds my gears. Not because of his bad jokes or arrogance, but because he has little respect for cars, and he dislikes the McLaren F1.
Hammond is immature and not funny at all. James May on the other hand is hilarious. He is the one who should be getting all of the credit. Without him I would not be watching Top Gear. Perfect British humour.

That is the first opposite review of the presenters on Top Gear I've ever read. :odd:

The Top Gear guys are :censored:s, but I'm always strangely drawn...

I guess there's part of me that never wants to grow up - which is a good thing! :D

Jai
The fact my cat is gone forever, he didn't die, he just emigrated to China or something :(

Maybe shem could help...

When people see I'm in a room doing something and it's night time but they turn the lights off. Makes me so mad.

Huh? Yes, James does say some funny things (just have to listen a little harder) but all three of them just make it hilarious. If one of them was to disappear it wouldn't work. ;)

Jeremy Clarkson is funny, but at the same time he's an ass. I wish he respected cars more. I could do without Hammond, I just find none of his stuff funny. He's a little too childish for my liking. I don't really get why everyone likes him so much. Maybe if I were 12 or under I would like him more.
James May is just a pure genius. How he can make people laugh with such little effort amazes me. Plus he respects car for what they are. If JC saw any old car he'd probably blow it up or something, while May would study it in an admirable manner.
JC also can't drive for 🤬 IMO.

The Jaguar E-Type episode for example... Jeremy reviewed that one. Oh and hey! It's an old car. I haven't seen him disrespect an old car other then the Morris Marina I think. In fact... when does he disrespect cars? I don't seem to really recall any of it.

Sorry for off-topicness...

Just woke up for supper. My current gear grinder: Cold lasagna. We kept it warm in the oven, so I grab a piece and its cold. Meanwhile the rest are burning hot. What the heck?

Take the Fiat Panda 100hp for example. 4.5/5 in my EVO magazine: "Most fun per pound on the market".
It's a fantastic car except after 3rd gear the gear box is a bit... rubbish. JC ridicules this car because it seems like a cheap alternative to nippy superminis on the Market. The styling does suck, and he uses this to his advantage to gain hilarity. Now it's considered 'uncool' by the general public. To be quite honest I don't give a 🤬 though. He just looks skin deep. Such a shame.
And what exactly did he mean when he said he didn't like the F1 (the absolute best road legal sports car of all time)? Oh, it's probably because it doesn't have any driving aids. That's why he likes his 1001hp tank better I suppose.
Tiff is far better at reviewing cars IMO. Take a look on YouTube at his F1 review.

Maybe because he doesn't like the driver's seat in the middle perhaps? Calm down a little. :p I do kind of agree with him on the Panda though.

Haha it is the grind your gears thread.
I think he said he didn't like the F1 because it was too difficult to drive.
Engineering at a level of perfection, being painfully criticised by a fat slob. :(

And the Panda is awesome.

Off to my own gear grinding:

My little sister was watching Cat and The Hat earlier. Never knew it existed as a TV show, apparently it's quite old. There was singing every flipping 10 seconds. Now I can't think in my head without singing with a little jingle or speak in with some rhyming words. :( It's really grinding my gears.

Hmm. Aldo, lets say I did get a job. I live in the middle of no where. How am I going to get home after my shift when the closest place to work at is a 35 minute drive away? When my dad can barely afford to get enough gas to get to his job. Don't talk when you don't know.

Bicycle. It's good for your health and cheap. Plus faster than any bus once you're fit enough. No excuses. I cycle and I'm probably just as tall and lanky as you.

Maybe shem could help...

I'll look out for the cat, what colour/ breed is he/ she? I do see about 20 random cats a day here though.

...they probably eat them.

Theys do'd down in dat south of 'ere!

In CQ they're pets.

If I find your cat, Jai, I'll take it in and bring him back in April next year. I like cats so I'll take good care and he/ she can have all the raw chicken he/she likes.

Grinding my gears today would be the lousy taxis in this city. See previous rants for details.

When your team shows favouritism to your team mate and then he wins the F1 championship.:grumpy:

Having to shave. So annoying. Just that extra little thing you have to do and can't avoid it since everyone can tell.

Shaving ain't so bad. Do it like a game or something. I enjoy shaving. Quite fun actually. :sly:

What grinds my gears? When all the Webber fans start spouting crap about favoritism towards Vettel, completely avoiding the fact that since the start of 2009 (when they became team mates), statistically (poles, wins, points etc) Vettel has annihilated Webber.

No wonder he's their favourite.

Not being able to sleep is my current gear grinder. It's 4am now. I'm not quite sure what's wrong with me but I there is too much stuff going through my head.
I feel tired yet I just can't fall asleep. At least I don't have work tomorrow.

When people ignore your post which is actually informative and someone makes a post right after you which says what you said and everyone quotes other said person's post instead of your's. Or when people flat out ignore your post. Grinds my gears.

It's OK if it's just once a week. I used to shave every other day but now just grow it out until Monday and then go to town for an hour chopping through what feels like wire brush.

..............*Tumble weed*

(Just kidding)

Sorry to hear about your cat Jai, hope you find him. My gear grinder is how I don't have any money. I bought a PS3 and just paid the last $20 of it off. I only have $23 and feel so broke. Plus I want a wheel and seat for GT5 so it'll be a while till I save up enough money for one.

Welcome to my world of being up at stupid times..

5AM now, all nighters..

@ilikewaffles11: What are you complaining about? You have a PS3, play it! Plus you have 26 dollars. For crying out loud, I have a PS2 thats starting to run bad and 0 dollars. Yeah I complain about not having this and that and blah blah blah, but when you have this and that yet complain about it, I don't know anymore. And you're not broke. You want to know broke? Talk to my father who is $20000 in debt. That's broke.

I have similar problems, but very rarely it happens. When I was younger I suffered quite highly of not being able to sleep, yet I was super tired and looked ready to fall into slumber. Guess because a lot is going through my head, stressing me out.

I see where you're coming from. But we can't judge if Jeremy is right about the Mclaren F1, or any other supercar because we have never driven them ourselves. You're right though, Tiff is a better driver, but Jeremy provides a more entertaining review for the people who don't know much about cars, and just want to be entertained.

James does say very funny stuff, it's just people don't get it because it's too complex for most people that watch Top Gear. So they say he isn't funny. But he is.
