The fact that I cannot seem to find anyone to form a band to play with. I'd be fine if we didn't even get somewhere to play right away, I just want to get together and play good music, maybe just jam for a while. I have one friend who plays bass that wants to play, but that's it.

I'm getting a Fender Starcaster electric guitar for Christmas, maybe we could be in a band?

Anyway, math grinds my gears. I just hate it to death.

My dad didn't pull in the Lexus far enough, and the garage door closed on the rear bumper. Now the black paint on the bumper is ruined, with white scrapes everywhere. I'm so pissed. :scared:

I've got a similar story. My dad has a '99 Silverado, this happened in winter when I was like 8.

So to keep the heat in the garage, he wanted me to open the garage door when he was backing in. Well, to make a long story short, due to the screwy garage door opener button we have, the door came down on the very back of the roof.

Luckily the roof only had a few scratches. What really surprised me is that he didn't even seem mad :dunce:

Oh he does... :dunce:

:scared: So he is like my bus driver. Is he fat, and does he have a large beard that you wouldn't be surprised to see a lollipop stuck in?

Somebody at my school today said the world would be better without me.. Simply because I am quiet and like to be with my own thoughts, I'm not much of a people person..

He Grinds my Gears..

Sounds like a hypocrite to me. The people who try and be "men" and be that disrespectful are the ones the world would be better without.

Wind also grinds my gears, it messes up my hair....

This. 👎

That's why I use a hair tie. ;)

This is why I wear a beanie. 💡 As I look like a transvestite while wearing a hair-band. :grumpy:

It's time for Tuesday's Rant:

Today, my girlfriend dumped me because of a minor incident whereby we "made-out" while on a school trip to London last week. I then told one friend and she hasn't talked to me since last Thursday. That, Grinds My Gears.

You know what grinds my gears? You do! Maybe we should chug on over to Mamby Pamby Land where maybe we can find some self confidence for you – you jack wagon! Tissue?... Cry baby...

Very nice, well-thought out post, not. Nice copy from the R. Lee Ermy TV commercial.

I'm still on GT5 v1.0.

I'm seriously banking on the new 2.0 disc making it's way to PAL.

You know what grinds my gears? Friends who randomly start to hate me for no apparent reason.
It makes absolutely no sense, AT ALL!!!:grumpy::mad:

That 'your' isn't capitalised in the thread title.

What grinds your gears?
What Grinds Your Gears?

Either capitalise them all, or just the word that starts the sentence/question.

 lol jk...

^Bait.

The fact that I'm abroad when my favourite football team is enjoying their best season for a long time. That in itself is typical Wrexham. They waited for me to leave...

The whole world is against me! ...from a footballing standpoint.

Whoa I feel so guilty, had an excessive spending spree tonight and spent tons of money on luxury goods, nothing essential. Worst thing is I didn't even have to work exceptionally hard for the money I've just burned.

I feel like I'm a horrible person and so guilty of gluttony that I'm sure I won't have much fun with the stuff I bought. But I'm to greedy to cancel my orders! :scared:

The fact that I randomly get upset/depressed. I have no reason. I was just tired today, I fell asleep in a couple classes while going over homework that I knew I got right. Still, I feel terrible, and nothing is going wrong. I haven't been talking to my girlfriend as much, but I still talk to her at night on the phone, and my life isn't really having anything wrong with it. I have been playing guitar more, and I just helped out at a Toys for Tots toy drive, which should make me thankful or something, but it did nothing. I have no motivation for anything right now, I don't do homework that usually wouldn't bother me, I don't feel like hanging out with friends, I just don't know what's wrong..

I know it wasn't directed at me, but try Holy Grail (metal), Red Fang (metal), The Sword (metal), Death From Above 1979 (Indie/rock), Anvil (metal), or Modest Mouse (indie). By metal, I mean good old metal, not deathcore, screamo, death metal, or anything like that.

Thanks, mate! I'll get to those right away :)

Classic music.

Credence Clearwater Revival
Buffalo Springfield (For What it's worth)
The Rolling Stones
The Doors
Metallica

I even have a 50's doo woop song on my iPod! :p

Knew Metallica and Rolling Stones, but not the others. Try those as well :)

Great, something for every mood.

They were big Vietnam-Era bands, and songs I think. :)

For CCR - Fortunate son
Buffalo Springfield - For What it's worth
Rolling Stones - Sympathy for the Devil, Gimme Shelter
The Doors - Break on through (to the other side)

Idk if The Doors were 'Nam-era though.
