CARCRASH
The snow earlier, it was mocking me, it was falling but not settling. It was basically a blizzard. What did I do to deserve it?

This. It was so annoying. I was in lessons too, I couldn't go and play in it. :grumpy:

That I'm probably having my dog put to sleep tonight.

This week has really been hard and sucked.

Friday's Rant!

Where do I start? It was my final day at school today and I brought my guitar in as my band had planned to have band practice which didn't happen, but that's another story. Anyway, my maths teacher agreed that I could play it during lesson as we had nothing else to do. So I went and got an amp from the music department and merrily played it for a little less than 5 minutes, anyway to make a long story short, everybody was complaining that "It's not real music", "It sounds 🤬" and so on. I was asked to put my guitar away, which I declined as I had just got the amplifier which took a while to get and I'm not going to get an amp to play it for less than 5 minutes. She asked again, so I turned the amp off and she said that everyone wanted to listen to "Beyonce" whoever the heck that is. I told her that the amp was turned off and she could play the music, but that "wasn't good enough" apparently. She instructed me to take the guitar amp back, eventually a massive argument between myself, her and some 🤬 students. She told me to leave and not come back into her class, which I accepted. That is what Grinded My Gears today..

I know where your coming from there, was it a bass or electric. If it was a bass I can imagine that the amp was pretty heavy. Another rant, I have to get up early tomorrow for football/soccer training when everyone else has finished training for the Holidays.

That class sounds pathetic. Beyonce doesn't make music, she makes elevator noise.

Electric and it was just a small 10w Laney Practice Amp..

I can't bare to listen to her, so I'll avoid her crap for now..

She said don't come back? It'd be rather funny if you actually never went back in that class.

What grinds my gears? Having to write a massive amount of notes. We're supposed to be given fill-in-the-blank notes sections, well the one group didn't really understand that concept...

It would actually. She just really annoyed me, on the plus side, she might not be teaching me in the new year. 👍

Reminds me of a substitute I had for math for 3 weeks last year. I despised her teaching style and did no work at all.

Like your thinking. I had a great teacher for about a month, a couple of years back. His name was Mr. Goonery, and he was the best teacher ever, he didn't have to do work and because we shared the same interests, we spent most of the lesson talking about guitars. 👍

What Grinds my Gears is another bad weather day which again means no work and therefore no money :grumpy:

We had a strange teacher in our 1st year of high school whose name I can't remember for the life of me. He was relatively young, so a lot of girls liked him. We were a bunch of 12-13 year olds. He sat all the boys at one end and all the girls at the other. On our second day, out of the blue, he came up to us and said "so, do any of you boys like Kerry?".

The fact that he mentioned her name creeped me out a little. This wasn't a teacher that was looking to embarrass us asking which girls we liked. This was a teacher asking us if we liked the prettiest girl in the class.

:scared:

One of my teachers says she's a 'fun teacher'. 2 lessons later she says that she'd much rather do book work because it is easier for her. She also shouted at us, not particularly loudly, and rants about how that is the loudest she's ever shouted in all the time she's been teaching...

That is a gear grinding teacher.

The creepiest teacher I ever had: Mr. Malcolm Jones, Year 10-11.

Tantastic, obese, thought he was cool. The first thing he ever said to us when he walked into the classroom for the first time was, "I'm Big Mal, the kiddie's pal. I only want girls with the short skirts to open the top windows". *Shudder*

Not that that is a particularly gear grinding anecdote, but with teachers I have entire ironworks and timber yards to grind, not just axes.

I have one that addresses us by saying "Grade 11's" before EVERYTHING he tells us.

No teachers are fun.

f1 fan

Was he a pedo?

Was he a pedo?

No, but I bet he was a paedo. Hehe.

The teacher in my anecdote did have 'pedo' incorrectly etched into the wall outside of his door. It's a confusing spelling perhaps, but a spelling fail all the same, which speaks volumes about my old school.

---

"Ha, you're ginger, you don't have a soul"

Neither do you. They don't exist.

Gets real old, real fast.

Was he a pedo?

I have no idea. He didn't last very long at our school, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. He left with not even a single rumor about him. The same could not be said for one of the french teachers though. Although a lot of people think that girl faked the whole thing.

Thats not true, two of my last year teachers were awesome. My English teacher was so laid back and he'd play disco music while we did vocab and my Science teacher pretty much said it like she saw it. Instead of acting as though she cared if we would get hurt she would just say don't hurt yourself then I'll have to do paperwork

There is a teacher at my school who lickes his lips every time children walk into his class, should I be concerned?

My grade 8 teacher did the same.

Possibly... Depends, either he is attracted to children or he has really dry lips at bad times .

Yes. And where's your black coloured writing gone?

Please do elaborate, preferably not on this thread though. Via PM sounds much better. :sly:

Hopefully gone for good, it Ground my Gears.

Usually, only parts of a text are bolded to show emphasis on a certain word or phrase. However, when the whole thing is bolded, that whole concept goes to 🤬.

Me too, if its okay I'd like to hear about it. If that's ok.

Bad news. My PPD has hit 12. Why is :gtplanet: so 🤬 addictive?

And me please. ;)

Why not blame me? I'm feeling left out. :(
Another thing that is annoying me right now is that I am playing Uncharted 2 and I keep getting pit against players that are about 15-20 levels higher than me and I get killed every 5 seconds.
