Silly Jai. I think you 'ought to be posting in the Live For Speed section though. ;) That would be a fun thread to read!

What grinds my gears is my stupid high school is always calling my parents, claiming that I'm not attending school when I AM in the first place.

I tried the demo and it was very fun. But I don't think I'll be buying the license though.

I did too and I might buy it, maybe if I get my PS3 controller to work on it. My craptop somehow ran the game perfectly too.

Here's a system teachers go by. During attendance, which I'll assume most of your teachers do, they usually go by if your in your seat or not. If your not in your correct seat, that is if you have an assigned seat, then he/she will mark you absent. Thus the office of the school takes notice and calls home just to make sure.

If it's not that, then I guess there are just some stupid teachers.

What's grinding my gears is setting up a DFGT in LFS. The steering axis goes through it's entire range in about an inch of rotation, and it's really annoying. Also, after playing with the settings, I can't find a way to fix it. The sound is all messed up now, too, because I thought I'd go through the settings quick. :(

I'm always sitting in my assigned seat. So I don't know what's the problem. I'm considering transferring since my high school has done many stupid things to me.

 I see this thread has been turned into the Live for Speed thread.

My gear grinder, being kicked off the big TV in the lounge because my parents want to watch Strictly Come Dancing. Means I have to watch Top Gear on our tiny TV in our playroom.

This has just happened to me too, at least my dad has taste in TV as he has just gone into the study to watch Top Gear with me, I have to admit I would rather be watching the Polar Special than the Vietnam special.

At least you get it on your small TV, I only get it on the two big TVs which I never actually use much for watching TV except later when Top Gears not on. My TV in my room doesn't get BBC.

Yeah I've seen the Vietnam special so many times I can quote the lines as they say them. :D

I decide to play the PS2 just to dust off my GT3 cobwebs. The thing is, there's a problem. I have two (supposedly working) controllers. One is narcoleptic and stops functioning for a few seconds, and on the other, the L1 and L2 buttons don't work. I go for the non-narcoleptic one, and now I have to shift up and down using the right analogue stick. :ouch:

Sounds like me. Been playing GT3 and 4 a bit recently :sly:

The problem I have is I don't seem to be able to locate where my normal controller is so I'm stuck using a third-party booster. Which isn't a booster in any sense of the word, all the two buttons do is autofire B and Start  Not useful in GT for certain.

Thing is, if you use that shifter method, you can at least feel like you're driving a manumatic. Which works for Super GTs  Speaking of which, 1002hp Castrol Mugen NSXs just define part of GT3's ridiculous tuning levels :D Now doesn't make me remember why it was my least favourite at all.

An update on the situation with the crappy PS2 controller: I can use the /\ button (or whatever button is used for reversing) as a sort of clutch, but I have to press it when the car is at the very end of the redline. :ouch:

Triangle button? There is no need for reverse anyway.

I just press it down for a split second just as the car's bouncing off the rev limiter.

Shaving.

It only rolls around about once a week because I'm still young but it's very annoying. I don't like it because my razor sucks and then I get sick of it because it doesn't get the job done fast enough so I don't do all of my face, then half of it is fuzzy and the other half not.

It is a pain in the arse.

I'm really annoyed that I can't afford GTP Premium and I doubt my mother would let me buy it, which sucks. That, Grinds My Gears.

HASHTAG SENTENCES

On Facebook

Oh dear me, I can't express how much I hate them anyway but why are they on Facebook? They look crude, childish and unimaginative. #especiallywhensomeonetypesareallylongoneandthewordsstarttolosecoherencebecausetheyoverlapyouknowthereisaspacebarforareasonrightobviouslynotifyourestillreadingthisyoureasmuchofaloserasthisentirehashtagpost.

I neither like nor use Twitter. So it's never acceptable!

I have 165 friends on facebook, but only 13 followers on Twitter. It grinds my gears, because Twitter is easier to use and better. I need more followers!

Now that grinds my gears. It's not a competition and I don't care how few or how many friends I have on Facebook.

Isn't it possible for anyone to see what you put on Twitter anyway, so it doesn't matter?

I know its not a competition, I'm just saying, how can there be that big of a discrepancy in the number of people?
