I have returned from my short holiday....A few things have ground my gears during this time, the main one being people with Iphone's that insist they are the best phones ever made and vastly superior to ALL other phones.

News flash, they are NOT. On specs alone most of the latest Android offerings floor the Iphone, my LG Optimus 3d is better spec'd than the Iphone 4 (not sure about the 4s, haven't looked at it yet) It does everything the 4 does and more, the only bonus for Iphone being Itunes, when to be fair Android market is just as good and easier to use.

Don't get me wrong, I like the Iphone and would be happy to have one, but it really gets up my nose when people who have them think they are above you because they have an Iphone (which is basically the least original phone you can buy now) for example:

Friend "what phone do you have?"
me "LG optimus 3D"
Friend "that's cool, bet the 3d is rubbish though, Can't wait for apple to make a 3d Iphone"
me "my phone is as good as, if not better than an Iphone"
Friend "yeah right! Iphone is the best phone ever, all other phones are crap mate"

......grrrr!!

Where's that Jackie Chan pic when you need it?

That sums up almost everyone I've met. They grind my gears too. So annoying. :ouch:

Simply go to Google Images (Or any other form of image searching you may prefer) and type in "Jackie Chan Meme." :)

 My dad has now said he's taking my iPod every evening at 8 and I can have it In the morning. :grumpy: Damn him...

Harsh! Did you get busted watching p0rn or something?

Another Gear Grinder is how annoying it is to post a pic on here, uploading to Flickr and posting link ect, granted it doesn't take long but surely there must be an easier way?

I suppose you could go on strike, you know, refuse to do any chores. I think that might be a bit extreme, though. Why is he doing it? He sounds a bit like my dad: "Get off that [computer, TV or PS3]!"

I think that would make it worse. And he is quite strict.

It doesn't even work on the app so don't complain haha, at least you can upload photos.

Coming off a bicycle on a gravel road, and having my first ever experience of road rash :ouch:
I feel your pain, I have done that before, I was also going quite fast as it was downhill.

Back on topic, I am not allowed to watch the Top Gear Special downstairs on the big TV because my Mum wants to watch something else.

Sky+ it and watch it afterwards?

Tom
That sucks, surely they will be a repeat on, or watch it on iPlayer after it's finished.
Good idea but the whole point is I want to watch it on the big television, I have 3 other televisions that I can watch it on.

The fact that I am a useless driver on F1 2011 without assists and DRS. Makes me feel like I really really suck.

My girlfriend, my mom, and my sister are all grinding my gears. My girlfriend told me that today she was going to go smoke pot with this kid she's been friends with for a while. Now, she knows I wasn't for it, but I told her if this is the last time for a few months at least go for it. The thing is, the kids she's with are "sketchy", and I don't like her smoking with someone she hasn't hung out with in a long time and likes to get as high or drunk as possible. She hates alcohol, so that isn't a problem, but the smoking still annoys me. I thought she would know better than to not take a chance with it, being her relatives have had drug problems, tons of my friends I lost because they are such druggies now, and same with her friends, yet she still goes and does this, saying this will be the last time until probably summer. I told her that doesn't matter, but she thinks it's because I don't trust her. That's not why, it's because you can't trust yourself when it comes to that. Nobody wakes up and says, "I want to become a pothead", it just happens. Then, after my mom was whining to me that I was taking too long to use the dryer and had to vacuum, my girlfriend calls me, stoned off her arse. I could hear the other guy in the background talking all stupid, and she kept laughing, so I told her I was gonna vacuum and I didn't want to talk. I didn't say "love you" like usual, because this really really p!ssed me off. In summer when I'd smoke once every month or so, she'd be royally p!ssed at me, even though I already went through a phase involving smoking too much and I learned how to control it. She never screwed around with it before, except once with me (she had to persuade me), so I have no idea if she'll be able to keep from forming a habit of this. I'm going to call her in about another half hour, since she called about an hour ago, it should be worn off, and I'm going to have a talk. This whole time my sister is complaining that I have my TV too loud playing BF3, when it's lower than hers (same model TV). Speaking of BF3, I wanted to play to get this stuff off my mind, but being angry and being that this is the first ever FPS I've owned, I suck terribly and it doesn't help my anger out. Terrible day today.

Picked up my T500RS today, just before work - went home and screwed it onto my rig. Had to leave for work.

Still stuck at work.

I want to go home. Now.

Meh...2 hours 16 minutes left. 3 days off. \o/

Thank god, apparently she did not smoke, she was just around kids who did, and that's why she was laughing so much. She didn't because of me, and although she may have had a contact high, she made the choice not to, and it really did relieve me a lot.

When you always get headaches :grumpy: Plus, I feel a bit alone for some reason, even though my family is here..

My impulse buying grinds my gears. I was out today and stopped at GameStop just to see if they had an old game I wanted. They didn't, but I saw Assassins Creed Revelations there for only $40, plus it comes with AC1 (on the same disc I'm guessing), so I bought it. Now though, I am thinking about returning it. In order to get the full story I would first have to play 1, beat 2, buy 3 and beat it, and I got new games for Christmas I want to play. Still haven't opened it so it's an option to return. I don't have a lot of money, and I want the new Dirt game when it comes out and I know that isn't until May but I don't get money very often (considering I'm not even old enough to legally get a job), so I might return it and save my money.

What do you think? Should I return it?

Being such a story heavy game, I'd say return it if you haven't played the previous ones.

Still a fun game, but the story is a big part of that fun.

And I use to be the same about impulse purchases, only returns weren't an option because of my 'impulse tear open the packaging immediately' problem. Got over that about a year ago, actually. Shortly after having to walk to work because I didn't have money for gas:ouch::dunce:

Anyway, grinding my gears right now is that I just spent 30 minutes carefully sifting through 1500 remaining legos(started with 2500) on this damn star ship, and then when I gave up and turned around to walk away for a break, there it was sitting in the bag that fell off the side of the desk:banghead:

And I'm being bombarded with FM4 invites right now from a whole bunch of people. They seem to all send them at once every hour or so when they're online. And this is even when I'm set to show up as offline.

Gahh I don't know about ACR... I'm worried when I go to buy it again( I eventually will buy it again if I return it), there won't be a copy of AC1 on it. Or do all of them have it? I read only the copies bought on day 1 had it. Wait, the one I bought is new, and supposedly it has it.

What grinds my gears here is having a sense if urgency to decide, being indecisive, not being old enough to get a job, and money.

I played AC2 with having little background on AC1, and I still kinda understood the story.
