Upwards of 200 lb. Hopefully less than 250. I bet I'm about
215... Anyways, it sucks being one of the few fat people at my school, and that's odd being that I am in America.

*goes off to convert into KG* That's not too bad. I know people that are heavier.

It leaves 5 minutes after the final lesson ends...
IMO that's a bit stupid. What if the lesson overruns? There's no margin for error.

Probably so most people can use them without asking for help. A lot of people still run XP because it's been around for a long time. Having to teach the kids how to use 7 would be too much work.

Really? Most of the computers have office 2007, and 2/3s of the student body have smartphones. Were a fairly wealthy district, so most people are good with technology.

It's a school bus so there's only one. And there's one public bus a week which doesn't even go through my village.
If you have a secure Bike shed and if you don't live to far away from school you could cycle. That's what I do.

It's a 15 minute drive in a car so...
By my calculations, that should be about 40 mins on a bike which isn't too bad especially if you know shortcuts. I take about 15 mins on my bike.

There are no shortcuts, it's very hilly and I'd probably get crushed trying to cross the dual carriageway...

Being fat... I work out and I don't eat like crazy... Makes no sense.

Losing weight often isn't as simple as calories in vs calories out as so many claim.
Also people often underestimate how many calories they are consuming and overestimate how many they are burning during exercise.
If you have a 'good' diet and exercise regularly but still can't drop the pounds you might want to look into metabolic typing.

Ah, I live in a small town and the busiest road has a speed limit of 40mph.

Confusion grinds my gears. I'm reading the Stephen King novel "Carrie", and one of the characters drives a Chevrolet Cavalier. Well, I just checked and the first year that car was made was 1982. The book was released in the 70s... What the??

Can someone help me? Are my facts wrong? They must be.

Interesting. Maybe the book was edited and re-released some time after its first release. But if that's not the case, then I have no clue. I agree, it's quite confusing.

Nope. I'm just stupid. The place they were at was called the Cavalier and all it said was Chevy. But Chevy and Cavalier were in the same sentence, so I connected them, not thinking....

Stupidity grinds my gears....

I finished my Science and Algebra Exams. Both were pretty easy 👍

But other than that, my depression.. Whenever I see someone hug somebody, I get really sad and start to shed tears, because I was never able to do the same to anybody. Not to random strangers or something! Just to close people like my family. Deeply inside me I am affectionate, however I can never show it to anybody. And believe me I like many people, from school to my own relatives. But, I can never see myself hug someone. I just can't. All I could do is shake their hand. I wish I can do something that nice for someone. But there is always somebody who would already do that. And that makes me quite sad. And because of that, I'm always left out of everything.

Last year, in this class I had called "Tech Lab", the classroom was filled with shiny new Apple desktops. Problem was, they were also downgraded it to XP. Why? The rest of the computers at the school, minus the ones in engineering, run Apple software, and the same goes for nearly all the schools around here. Why do they have to ruin good stuff like that?

They do it so they because they know how to work with XP, and can easily block certain areas of it whereas the newer versions they haven't worked out.

Not having any idea how to make my 1,000th post special grinds my gears. Any suggestions?

The awful amount of time it takes to load a 2x magnified picture after you've taken it on GT5 grinds my gears.

The undeniable fact that this year will suck to be me a lot more than the last grinds my gears.

My new competition isn't getting any attention. That's attention whoreish but I really think it's cool and wish people would do it...

@Parkour you're getting close you better start thinking.

This Week's Gear Grinder: Can't find the UDB cable part of my PSP charger. Why?! Why does something have to be missing every time I want to play on it? I won't be seeing GT PSP for awhile. :( Probably will have to buy a new one since there's not a single trace of it being around anywhere. Darn USBs, always disappearing.

That just reminds me I'm nearly 2,000 now.

You could say the usual thanks and praise for the website (like I did), but if you really want to make it awesome make it funny somehow. :sly:

And what's grinding my gears at the moment is the fact that I find it hard to concentrate when reading a non-fiction book. I'm halfway done reading a chapter and then I'm thinking about unrelated stuff. It sucks.

I'm having two of my ruptured teeth surgically removed tomorrow afternoon, and I'm a bit petrified. It has been a very long time since my last tooth removal. Let's hope this one is as quick and less painful as possible.

When my rum is downstairs and I have to walk all the way down to make it.

6??? I need 2 hands to count that high.... how am I suppose to hold my rum and count to 6 at the same time?

Today's gear grinder: I asked a girl for number and she didn't know it. For real!

Lies.

Ask her to look at her mobile INSTANTLY and find out the number there.

If you're ain't bothered, just say to her: "Well, you've missed your chance...."
