I've once done an all-nighter and didn't sleep for 30 hours straight and it was during the 24 Hours of Le Mans 2010 and Formula 1 Canadian GP straight after. I just had around 3 hours of sleep... My Monday was ruined and I had school on that day. Seriously, not doing that again. It was terrible!

I did that last weekend up for 40 hours watching the Daytona 24.

I almost did that in 2011, but I was really tired that day. Woke up to catch the finish though.

I think it's a wise choice to find a rest somewhere during the race by not missing the final hours of the race... Still, I'm in anyway not doing that again unless I have no activity at all on Monday. Because of me being too tired, I spent the rest of the day in the 'sick' room of our school thus a Monday ruined :(

For last year, I did have a rest/sleep somewhere during the race. Still it was ruined because of the loooooong delay of the Canadian GP. It was another Monday ruined too but not that bad.

I'm serious. I nearly passed out at school the day after. :lol: It was fun though. Had about 10 other GTPer's constantly chatting in a thread about the race.

Yeah, I was reading through the thread because I wasn't able to watch the stream, thus I had a good sleep :lol:.

Yes, that opens up to another late gear grinder... My internet is too slow that it just can't stream anything well! :mad:
 
Todays Gear Grinder is my job..... I run a window cleaning business, which means i'm outside today in these artic like conditions :grumpy:

Another Gear Grinder? When you like stuff before everyone else does, and then when they finally catch up, it no longer feels cool.

Mumford and Sons, Top Gear, Torchwood, How I Met Your Mother, Red vs Blue among other things. I've liked it for a long time, everyone thought I was weird, and now it's suddenly cool. I'm not sure if I like that...

You know what this just screams to me about you? You can't ever lose at anything, and you always have to be the first one to know about something or it isn't cool.
Your Friend: "Hey check out this cool new band!"
You: "Wow I knew about them before they were famous. You're just hearing of them now? Well they were cool before but not now."

Why can't other people like stuff and that stuff is still cool?

People like that grind my gears.

Trickshooters and quickscopers are making COD look ****. God I want a copy of MW3 and piss those guys off.

And I don't like being constantly reminded of homework. I want to relax, period. Don't care about my grade that much, as long as I get to learn and get to listen to the teacher properly.

I just got my school report and am resisting to look at it before my parents get home. It's agony. :(

It's English, just say how they portray a good sense of meaning or they make a good atmosphere. Just make stuff up. :lol:
 
I'd like to rant about something right now but I won't do it.
The reason is simple: While it is a massive gear grinder it is also extremely unimportant and silly considering all aspects of the whole situation.

To summarize it's about a friend of mine f-ing up a relationship with some girl again. I can't stand watching this, but currently my best bet is to just ignore it.

So yeah, no extra-large "theRealMeyer"-el-classico-rant today, sorry.

When I really need the toilet but I can't be bothered to get up. :lol: Also I'm worrying about my maths test result. If I do badly in this one, I'll probably be dropped from the top set. :nervous:

That's a problem with being off school. You look forward to it, but then when you're actually off school you find you're so bored you want to go back...

I don't have that problem.

Grinding my gears now is my cold. My throat hurts and my nose is raw. Plus I'll have tons of homework when I go back to school.

I had to deal with that yesterday, today i will be spending my freetime on homework i missed yesterday. Have fun coming back to school...... Its a blast :(

That, and the fact that people assume Jesus was caucasian. Really people? He was most likely Palestinian, though I'm not sure anyone knows for sure.

There isn't a description of him in the Bible, so we won't know for sure. That's if this man even exists.

But like I said in TFPT, it's ethnocentric iconography. We're white, so we assume he was also white.
 
I decided to do a Fact of a Day thing for one of my periods, but no one bothers reading them. I think I'll continue for a while, see how it goes..
 
I lost a $20 book three years ago and the middle school is still pestering us over it.

I'm in high school now! Come on!
