What happend to the wind tunnel?

I think most of you will know what I'm talking about, the wind tunnel that seemed to be in every trailer following the 2009 e3.... what on earth has happend to it ....?

I'm thinking it might be a photo location unlocked later in the game?

It's in the Apex book, in the photomode section, too. I'm assuming it'll be an unlockable.

I think it was just to hint that something was up(X1), and then popped up again in the X1 teaser trailer.
