Don't think so bud!
When they issued it months ago they did say it was temporary.

Yea i noticed its been a week, I was waiting to see if it was a glitch of some sort before i posted a thread about it. P.s. its currently 2-1 :D

Oh, and for those that are voting Leave it alone: Do you like paying double? Well, You have fun paying 15mil for a Chapparel, While i got two for 15million.

These are the original prices from when the game out, same as the seasonals. They doubled everything a few months back for a "limited" time. So technically its back to normal. Personally i like it at these rates.

Hm, missing the option "don't care, although I#m not a forza driver" :dopey:

My garage is complete. I'm not driving for money but for fun. :D

I totally agree!

If they came up to me today and said "Danny it's up to you, you can double the current prices or half them" then it would be an answer of half it's in around 0.0163826 seconds, but I'm cool with how it is now.

What have you been smoking dude, must be some pretty good:censored:

I think I've seen this thread somewhere before, but...

I get setting them back to high prices in the beginning. Now the game is nearly a year old. Not really a need to set it back high. There aren't really that many new GT5 players out there each day at this point going through A-Spec for the first time etc. Kinda pointless to reset the prices.

You guys will find any little thing to complain about.

The prices are now how i think they should be,they are collectors/race cars afterall they should not be given out willy nilly, they need to be earned.

Agreed! I think it was a bad decision to give us inflated earnings and half prices on cars. Suddenly I could get all the cars I wanted in no time. I was happy about that - in the beginning - but now where I have almost everything it is a bit of a flat feeling. I don't really feel that I have earned it. It was to easy and too fast. I feel that I have missed some of the fun.

Am I alone? :-)

Sad to see it go, but I have every standard car over $750,000 and only 90 or so standard cars left to buy in total so I'm okay with it. I grinded and spent non stop because it was originally stated that it wasn't going to be a permanent thing along with the inflated seasonals.

I voted to leave it alone, but I really couldn't(hint, hint to the OP!) care less...;)

From what I've notice from PD's side, they doesn't seem to understand how to balance the game in a matter where of challenge. They change prizes all the time, it's freakin confused. First it's hard to get what you want, then they make it easy, then then give away free stuff, then they change back. Why change these kind of things in the first place?

All it does is making people upset on how things are. When iit's hard to get something, few people complain about it, and after awhile they(we) learn to live with it, we adapt to the situation. Then they make everything so easy, So now we get everything easy and adapt to it very quick and it doesn't feel very cool to have anything anymore. Then they make it hard again, at this point it's very hard to adapt back to that situation again, so more complains will grow. Everything was great in the beginning, I remember when I got my first 5 mil, this was way back. I was freakin happy, I was driving the turbo, you earn 50k, then I lvled up and did the American race at Daytona I think it is and earned around 100k, it took 2 days, I could buy an awesome car(At the time I didn't know the drill with copying cars) I first bought the GT By Citroen Road Car. It was a great feeling. Now I just buy what ever I like, because I don't really have to work for it that hard and the cars doesn't feel any special. The only car I bought that is some special is Lambo Muira.

It's very sad how PD is handling the game.

I guess you guys are right. Although I didn't have GT5 online when it was full price, It makes more sence to have it full price so we have something to earn. But then again we could save more money to tune :D

I am glad to see that I am not alone with that opinion.

Not really. And no one should sit back and enjoy poor payouts. Leaving the prizes alone, at the value they had at game release, would have the been the absolute worst thing PD could do.

I had $7m this arvo & dropped $5m on a 2nd FGT & I have no issue doing it, yeah it hurts the wallet but I like having to earn the cash then rewarding myself with an epic car!!

Then don't ask for low paying events/expensive cars. Avoid the high paying the events/cheap cars. Struggling to earn a car isn't an accomplishment, and I have no interest taking part; same for some other people.

But with the log in bonuses we get now it is so much easier to get money fast so it really doesn't matter.

It takes longer to make money. And you can't ever miss logging into GT, or you suffer a 10 day penalty.

It now takes 3 times as long to clear out the OCD in the best of conditions.

They had Seasonals event then too. So you could earn some nice money too. The good thing about is that you could't farm one race for 4 hours and have 20 mil. It was balanced. Balance make a game great.

And what if like a challenge with having a low payout? It gives me the satisfaction of earning what I buy. Sure I might hate that it takes alot of time to get something but when I do, I can be in your face about it all the time. You know why? Ofcourse you wanna know. I'm not LAZY. Most people here who complains(including me) are game addicts(including me) who are playing games most of the times. Complaining about how you dont wanna spend your valuable time on doing something in the game your are playing is kind of lame don't you agree? And for those who doesn't play games all day, don't even feel hit by this post. if you don't like a challenge, find a game that doesn't give you a challenge, like the NFS games.

I wanna become the King of Sweden, but I can't. I gonna go complain about why they should make me able to become King of Sweden. I'll see you guys later, I'll let you know my progress in the matter.

And yes we do adapt, humans are very adapable. But it's hard to adapt from easy to hard.
