They had Seasonals event then too. So you could earn some nice money too. The good thing about is that you could't farm one race for 4 hours and have 20 mil. It was balanced. Balance make a game great.

There were no seasonals when the game came out.

Not being able to farm a race is bad, very bad. It makes it take longer to get a car. I do not want to have to go grind to get cars. I don't want credits at all. I just want to race. But if PD is going to insist on having credits, they should at least make acquire credits take little time and effort.

And what if like a challenge with having a low payout? It gives me the satisfaction of earning what I buy. Sure I might hate that it takes alot of time to get something but when I do, I can be in your face about it all the time. You know why? Ofcourse you wanna know. I'm not LAZY. Most people here who complains(including me) are game addicts(including me) who are playing games most of the times. Complaining about how you dont wanna spend your valuable time on doing something in the game your are playing is kind of lame don't you agree? And for those who doesn't play games all day, don't even feel hit by this post. if you don't like a challenge, find a game that doesn't give you a challenge, like the NFS games.

Well first off, nothing about credits or buying cars is challenging. It's just time consuming. GT is a game where the player doesn't even have to play to make money. That doesn't sound difficult to me at all, just boring. But if you'd like to deal with that, do ahead, I don't care. Just don't drag me down. Or do I have a right to force you to have infinite credits just because I find dealing with credits pointless?

The desire to avoid credits comes not from a fear of challenge, but from a desire to be challenged and have fun. But those two things are best found online, not off. GT would be much, much better if it gave you everything from the moment you turned on the game. Then you could just jump into a competitive online race and fight for position lap after lap.

The whole "go play NFS" thing is a ridiculous idea. NFS isn't GT, so obviously if someone wants to play GT, suggesting NFS makes no sense. I'd also add that NFS is probably way harder than GT due to its arcade physics, AI, and boss - which keep you stuck at a point in the game's progression until you beat them. So I could suggest that those people looking for a challenge go play NFS since GT isn't about being challenging.

Oh dear god... I ccan't really find words. You expect everything to be free, so why did you start playing this game at the beginning? As far as I can recall, almost all or all GT games you have to buy the cars. the NFS games aren't hard at all, you have to race to earn there too buy you will most likely never be out of money to buy stuff..

I think in the time it takes to argue about how to get cars, people could have been trading for level tickets in the marketplace. I only have 90 standard cars left to get (only two are over $500,000). If you hate the system, find ways to beat the system. It's much easier and more fun than getting mad and you get to meet good people in the GT community. I did buy a LOT of cars as well doing the seasonal grinding when the payouts were big so luckily any cars that are left I can pay for without much problem. Just a suggestion to those that don't have 20 hours a day to play a game.

As far as I can recall, almost all or all GT games you have to buy the cars.

So? Every other GT game had less cars, should PD take cars away from GT5?

It's about time GT got rid of credits, or allowed people to ignore credits completely.

Describes GT perfectly. If you can't win a race just keep driving, even if you come in last place, you'll eventually be able to afford upgrades or a better car and just stomp the AI. And you driving is actually optional, you can let B-Spec do it. So winning in GT can be done in your sleep.

In NFS on the other hand, there are some events where no amount of money will help you. You'll be outgunned by a car that is just plain better than yours. You can't hire someone else to do it for you. You can't get a better car because it's locked away, and the same for car upgrades.

I understand that perfectly. What I don't understand is how you can assume so foolishly that everyone should do things only if you approve of them. You're free to go earn credits. I'd be a hypocrite if I was against that. But I'd rather not waste my time. Credits are neither necessary, or exciting. Get rid of them and the game would be a whole lot better for a lot of people.

Oh, and for those that are voting Leave it alone: Do you like paying double? Well, You have fun paying 15mil for a Chapparel, While i got two for 15million.

Be happy you got it then. I did too. If you didnt and they popped up at full price you'd buy them if the cr was available, dont act like you wouldnt.

What a luck that the current OCD cars are cheap ones. Bought all for I think less than one million (incl. selling/replacing the UCD ones). The FGT & the Veyron I've got already.

So, not a big deal for now. But back to 50% of the price would be nice. 👍
