Your online multiplayer level? It rolls over to a green color and resets the XP needed for the next level, so you start climbing up levels like you did at the beginning of yellow. After green is teal or blue, I think. You also no longer receive gifts for levelling up.
If you look up the global rankings for multiplayer level (at Race Central) and scroll down from #1, you can find the (reverse) progression of colors. It's easier to do that than to scroll up from "Near Me," as there are fewer players in the top level classes. As you'll see, you eventually stop at Level 50 gold.
