HEY! You said B on AIM.

And its only a paragraph, not an essay. And Im in 8th grade now.

Honestly, I think all of these things are funny... we get in our little cars, and we pay more money for faster cars that we couldnt use legally, we simply MUST have our music collection in our pocket, we kill for stupid things like beer, and oh my god the corruption.

We are a laughable culture! We are not advanced, we are declining!

I don't think you (nor I, nor many people here at GTP) are old enough and experienced enough to make an assumption like that. Although you do have a point.

Sakiale, this must go in the "deep thoughts" thread created by Danoff. NOT HERE.

This thread is to post something that made you laugh TODAY. Is not asking for some dramatic rant that you may have with the world.

Ciao!

I was awoke on the couch by my youngest son who was heading out to school. He didn't look happy and was feeling a bit low that he had to go to school instead of spending the day with me.

He was in the car, with his mom at the wheel and his brother in the back seat next to him and he looked unhappy. He looked so sad and just stared back with a dull expression as I waved good-bye to him. He did a half-mouthed smirk and held up his "good-bye" hand quickly and then continued to stare with a not-so-thrilled look on his face.

That's when the sick side of me had to kick in and do something about how my youngest was feeling. So I flipped him "the bird" with a big smile on my face. He immediately started to smile and laugh. Soon, there were "birds" be "flown" all over the place, mom and brother had started to join in, as the car went down the driveway and into the street with my boys in the back seat laughing the whole way down.

For your consideration for "GTPlanet Father of the Year" award; thank you.

:)

I need to word my posts better? Ok, try this--

Today I was thinking about the confinements of our conventional lives, and why we live through them. In the comedy The Gods Must be Crazy, the bushmen have none of the confinements of computers, work, greed, or violence, etc. Everything they do and use is natural, and does not require pollution, and they have nothing to fight each other for. School and work are not required to survive in this community, and they live off nature.

Now contrast that with our society. In our society, we have violence. Rape. Murder. Theft and robbery. We are bound by our attatchments. In my case these are GTP and AIM. Without these, I can't live. And I have to go to school every day, this is a fact that I cannot change or avoid. People rape for their own sexual pleasure, against peoples will, kidnap just for money, kill just to get things ranging from a bottle of beer to mere revenge on their enemies. We fight for our pride, and steal things we want as a last resort. There are so many corruptions in this society, in our government, in our customs, in our ways. Kids think it fun to pull pranks on innocent people. Companies like Big Tobacco sell products that are known to be addicting and cause death or illness. Idiots run for president then plunge their nations into a war against their will for no good reason.

I think all these things are rather worth laughing at.

Unfortunately, what made me laugh(to tears) today, I can not share with you guys. It involved us joking about Jean-Claude Van Damme, France, Statue of Liberty and a nuclear warhead.

Jordan nothing against you dude this was a great site, but now it sucks.

I'm with you! This place does suck, now! Just think how great this place would be if every single post was spam.

My friend James and I built a golf course around his front and back yard. Gave us a good laugh.
We used a light saber and a tennis ball instead a club and golf ball.

The fact that my mate does parkour and can't bothered taking a 10 minute walk to the station O_o

I went out to get the rubbish bin at 10.30am this morning in my pyjamas … of course my next door neighbour was outside and she told me to “take off my pyjamas.”

*sigh*

Someone is always watching.

I have pyjamas (pajamas :P ) too. Mine are black and orange, and they really are comfortable.

My free British Touring Car ticket that came in the post today made me really happy. :)

God bless Toca Race Driver 3..

Now I have work.. :grumpy:

I took my wife to see Will Young in concert on Monday. No, that's not what made me smile.

There were however two rather attractive young ladies in the row in front getting well acquainted. :sly:
Apparently I had a big grin on my face when I pointed them out.

My cat always feel the need to attack shoestrings, even when the shoes are on your feet. I was walking through the living room and I saw Smokey over in the corner get all scrunched up and then he was like BAM! and just shot out and pounced on my foot, making me fall, then he jetted of too the other side of the room where he scrunched up again. I couldn't even stand up and he attacked me again, and I grabbed him and petted him furiously until he fell over and rooled upside down.

He's a good kitty.

a story we are reading in english, with some quite dodgy words in it.
